Base on the analysis for the corrosion mechanism of the Mg alloys,the technology of Ni-P directly electroless plating on the Mg-10Li-1Zn alloys was *** effects of the pre-treatment on the morphologies of substrate and plating films were investigated,The result shows that Ni-P electroless plating could be divided two steps:the induction period and the rapid deposition *** Ni-P film is amorphous structure:A excellent Ni-P coating can be obtained under the optimal *** Ni-P coating can obviously improve the corrosion resistance of Mg alloy in variety environment.

Ocean mining activities have been ongoing for nearly 70 years,making great contributions to *** the increasing demand for energy,along with the restructuring of the energy supply catalyzed by efforts to achieve a low-carbon economy,deep seabed mining will play an important role in addressing energy-and resource-related problems in the ***,deep seabed mining remains in the exploratory stage,with many challenges presented by the high-pressure,low-temperature,and complex geologic and hydrodynamic environments in deep-sea mining areas,which are inaccessible to human ***,considerable efforts are required to ensure sustainable,economic,reliable,and safe deep seabed *** study reviews the latest advances in marine engineering geology and the environment related to deep-sea min-ing activities,presents a bibliometric analysis of the development of ocean mineral resources since the 1950s,summarizes the development,theory,and issues related to techniques for the three stages of ocean mining(i.e.,exploration,extraction,and closure),and discusses the engineering geology environment,geological disasters,in-situ monitoring techniques,envi-ronmental protection requirements,and environmental effects in ***,this paper gives some key conclusions and future perspectives to provide insights for subsequent studies and commercial mining operations.

Al alloy matrix composites reinforced with copper-coated graphite particle have been prepared by melt stirring process in this *** effect of the addition of Mg on distribution of the graphite particles has been *** electron microscopy （SEM） was used to observe the micro-morphology of Al alloy matrix composites reinforced with graphite ***,the content of graphite was analyzed in the different position of casting by dissolution method and the mechanical properties of the composites were *** results show that the content of graphite increase with increasing Mg content;the graphite particles distribute uniformly in the particle reinforced metal matrix composites （PMMC） with 0.6 wt pct Mg;however,the agglomeration of the graphite particles is observed obviously in the matrix when Mg content is more than 1.0 wt *** addition,the proper Mg addition amount is beneficial to enhance the mechanical properties of the graphite particles reinforced Al alloy matrix composites and the abrasion resistance of the materials due to a reduce friction coefficient.

The Mongolian gerbil has been widely used in many research fields and has been reported to be a diurnal laboratory animal. The circadian rhythmicity of these gerbils was investigated in the present study by measuring two hormones that show daily oscillations, cortisol and ACTH, in serum using ELISA kits. The levels of the two hormones were highest at 8:00 am and their rhythmic changes were similar to those in humans. In addition, the influence of stress of handling and blood collection on the physiological parameters of the gerbils was examined. After adaptation to handling for 1 week, some serum parameters in the animals changed. Handling and blood collection did not impact significantly on the following parameters: creatine kinase (CK), lactate dehydrogenase (LD), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), and albumin (ALB). However, blood glucose (GLU), total protein (TP) and globulin (GLB) significantly increased while creatinine (CRE) and albumin/globulin (A/G) significantly decreased after adaptation. This work further confirms that the Mongolian gerbil is a diurnal animal and also indicates that a suitable adaptation procedure is necessary for getting reliable results when performing experiments using these animals.

Graphene oxide(GO)is a promising candidate for humidity sensing,and the uniformity and thickness of GO films are important for the reproducibility and test signal strength of humidity *** this paper,uniform and thicknesscontrollable GO films are first formed by the surface tension of different concentrations of GO solution and then transferred to surface acoustic wave(SAW)humidity *** GO film formation and transfer process has very good repeatability and stability,as evidenced by the humidity response of the *** the help of the uniform and highly oxidized GO film,the humidity sensors show a significantly high sensitivity(absolute sensitivity of 25.3 kHz/%RH and relative sensitivity of 111.7 p.p.m./%RH)in a wide test range from 10%RH to 90%RH with very little hysteresis(<1%RH).The sensors achieve good reversibility,excellent short-term repeatability and ***,the humidity sensors also show a fast response and recovery time of<10 s.

The southeastern Tibetan Plateau,which profoundly affects East Asia by helping to maintain the stability of climate systems,biological diversity and clean water,is one of the regions most vulnerable to water erosion,wind erosion,tillage erosion,freeze-thaw erosion and overgrazing under global climate changes and intensive human *** variations in soil erosion in terraced farmland(TL),sloping farmland(SL)and grassland(GL)were determined by the^(137)Cs tracing method and compared with spatial variations in soil organic carbon(SOC)and total nitrogen(total N).The^(137)Cs concentration in the GL was higher in the 0-0.03 m soil layer than in the other soil layers due to weak migration and diffusion under low precipitation and temperature conditions,while the^(137)Cs concentration in the soil layer of the SL was generally uniform in the 0-0.18 m soil layer due to tillage-induced ***^(137)Cs inventories appeared at the summit and toe slope positions in the SL due to soil loss by tillage erosion and water erosion,respectively,while the highest^(137)Cs inventories appeared at the middle slope posi-tions due to soil accumulation under relatively flat landform *** the GL,the^(137)Cs data showed that higher soil erosion rates appeared at the summit due to freeze-thaw erosion and steep slope gradients and at the toe slope position due to wind erosion,gully erosion,freeze-thaw erosion and ***^(137)Cs inventory generally increased from upper to lower slope positions within each terrace(except the lowest terrace).The^(137)Cs data along the terrace toposequence showed abrupt changes in soil erosion rates between the lower part of the upper terrace and the upper part of the immediate terrace over a short distance and net deposition on the lower and toe ***,tillage erosion played an important role in the soil loss at the summit slope positions of each terrace,while water erosion dominantly transported soil from the upper terrace to
