leveraging the extraordinary phenomena of quantum superposition and quantum correlation,quantum computing offers unprecedented potential for addressing challenges beyond the reach of classical *** paper tackles two pivotal challenges in the realm of quantum computing:firstly,the development of an effective encoding protocol for translating classical data into quantum states,a critical step for any quantum *** encoding strategies can significantly influence quantum computer ***,we address the need to counteract the inevitable noise that can hinder quantum *** primary contribution is the introduction of a novel variational data encoding method,grounded in quantum regression algorithm *** adapting the learning concept from machine learning,we render data encoding a learnable *** allowed us to study the role of quantum correlation in data *** numerical simulations of various regression tasks,we demonstrate the efficacy of our variational data encoding,particularly post-learning from instructional ***,we delve into the role of quantum correlation in enhancing task performance,especially in noisy *** findings underscore the critical role of quantum correlation in not only bolstering performance but also in mitigating noise interference,thus advancing the frontier of quantum computing.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA)is threatened by potential tsunami hazards from the littoral Fault Zone(lFZ)and the Manila subduction zone(MSZ),and may suffer huge damage because of its dense population,concentrated infrastructure,and low-lying *** tsunami studies for the GBA made simple assumptions on the mechanisms of lFZ earthquakes,and used coarse bathymetry data in tsunami simulation,which limited the prediction of detailed tsunami hazard *** this paper,we develop a parallel dispersive tsunami model PCOMCOT to efficiently simulate dispersive,nonlinear,and breaking tsunami *** also construct large-scale and high-resolution bathymetry models for the GBA by correcting and integrating various data *** rupture simulation is performed for the lFZ to obtain a more reliable earthquake source *** propose several representative earthquake scenarios for the lFZ and MSZ,and use PCOMCOT to cal.ulate the resulting tsunami waves,currents,and inundation in the *** results indicate that if an M_(w)7.5 oblique-slip earthquake occurs in the lFZ off the Pearl River Estuary(PRE),the subsequent tsunami will primarily impact Hong Kong,causing maximum positive and negative waves of around 1 m and -2 m,respectively,along with slightly destructive currents(≥1.5 m/s).An M_(w)9.0 MSZ megathrust earthquake can lead to widespread inundation with>1 m depth on the outlying islands of Macao and in the urban areas of Hong Kong around the Victoria ***,it will also cause catastrophic tsunami currents along the narrow waterways in Hong Kong and Macao,and the spatial distribution of strong currents(≥3 m/s)shows a considerable discrepancy from the areas of serious ***,more attention should be paid to the potential impacts of tsunami currents on the GBA.

In order to investigate the mechanical response behavior of the gas obturator of the breech mechanism,made of polychloroprene rubber(PCR), uniaxial compression experiments were carried out by using a universal testing machine and a split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB), obtaining stress-strain responses at different temperatures and strain rates. The results revealed that, in comparison to other polymers, the gas obturator material exhibited inconspicuous strain softening and hardening effects;meanwhile, the mechanical response was more affected by the strain rate than by temperature. Subsequently, a succinct viscoelastic damage constitutive model was developed based on the ZWT model, including ten undetermined parameters, formulated with incorporating three parallel components to capture the viscoelastic response at high strain rate and further enhanced by integrating a three-parameter Weibull function to describe the damage. Compared to the ZWT model, the modified model could effectively describe the mechanical response behavior of the gas obturator material at high strain rates. This research laid a theoretical foundation for further investigation into the influence of chamber sealing issues on artillery firing.

The Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)has brought numerous benefits,such as improved efficiency,smart analytics,and increased ***,it also exposes connected devices,users,applications,and data generated to cyber security threats that need to be *** work investigates hybrid cyber threats(HCTs),which are now working on an entirely new level with the increasingly adopted *** work focuses on emerging methods to model,detect,and defend against hybrid cyber attacks using machine learning(Ml)***,a novel Ml-based HCT modelling and analysis framework was proposed,in which l1 regularisation and Random Forest were used to cluster features and analyse the importance and impact of each feature in both individual threats and HCTs.A grey relation analysis-based model was employed to construct the correlation between IIoT components and different threats.

Material and structure made by additive manufacturing(AM)have received much attention lately due to their flexibility and ability to customize complex *** study first implements multiple objective topology optimization simulations based on a projectile perforation model,and a new topologic projectile is *** two types of 316l stainless steel projectiles(the solid and the topology)are printed in a selective laser melt(SlM)machine to evaluate the penetration performance of the projectiles by the ballistic *** experiment results show that the dimensionless specific kinetic energy value of topologic projectiles is higher than that of solid projectiles,indicating the better penetration ability of the topologic ***,microscopic studies(scanning electron microscope and X-ray micro-CT)are performed on the remaining projectiles to investigate the failure mechanism of the internal structure of the topologic *** explicit dynamics simulation was also performed,and the failure locations of the residual topologic projectiles were in good agreement with the experimental results,which can better guide the design of new projectiles combining AM and topology optimization in the future.

Background Oils are important sources of energy in pig *** combination of oils with different degree of saturation contributes to improve the utilization efficiency of the mixed oils and may reduce the cost of oil *** experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of oils with different degree of saturation on the fat digestibility and corresponding additivity and bacterial community in growing *** Eighteen crossbred(Duroc×landrace×Yorkshire)barrows(initial body weight:29.3±2.8 kg)were surgically fitted with a T-cannula in the distal *** experimental diets included a fat-free basal diet and 5 oil-added *** 5 oil-added diets were formulated by adding 6%oil with different ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids(u:S)to the basal *** 5 oils were palm oil.u:S=1.2),canola oil.u:S=12.0),and palm oil and canola oil were mixed in different proportions to prepare a combination of u:S of 2.5,3.5 and 4.5,*** The apparent and standardized ileal digestibility(AID and SID)of fat and fatty acids increased linearly(Pu:S of dietary oils increased except for SID of fat and C18:*** AID and SID of fat and fatty acids differed among the dietary treatments(Punsaturated fatty acids(uFA)and C18:*** one-slope broken-line analyses for the SID of fat,saturated fatty acids(SFA)and uFA indicated that the breakpoint for u:S of oil was 4.14(R^(2)=0.89,PuFA in the mixtures was not different from the cal.ulated SID of fat,C18:1,C18:2 and ***,the determined SID of C16:0,C18:0 and SFA in the mixtures were greater than the cal.ulated SID values(Pundance of Romboutsia and Turicibacter in pigs fed diet containing palm oil was greater than that in rapeseed oil treatment group,and the two bacteria were negatively correlated with SID of C16:0,C18:0 and SFA(P<0.05).

Rechargeable sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are considered as the next-generation secondary *** performance of SIB is determined by the behavior of its electrode surface and the electrode–electrolyte interface during charging and ***,the characteristics of these surfaces and interfaces should be analyzed to realize large-scale energy storage systems with high energy density and long-cycle *** various studies have investigated the properties of electrode materials,few studies have focused on the construction of stable and efficient SIB interfaces,and even fewer have explored the mechanisms of interfacial effects;however,the strategies of regulating interfacial effects are yet to be completely ***,the results obtained thus far are insufficient to draw systematic *** present study reviews the literature on the mechanism of interfacial effects in Na+storage *** interfaces in a sodium-ion storage device include a heterogeneous interface between electrode materials,a solid electrolyte interphase,and a cathode electrolyte *** interfacial effects during the intercalation,transformation,and alloy reactions and the resulting overall battery performance were theoretically *** this review,we aim to provide a theoretical basis for optimizing the structures of electrode surface and electrode–electrolyte interface to optimize the performance of *** addition,the challenges of investigating interfacial effects and several possible helpful methods and opportunities for studying the mechanisms of interfacial effects in SIBs will be presented.
