The phase-plane analysis is used to study the traveling wave solution of a recently proposed higher-order traffic flow model under the Lagrange coordinate system. The analysis identifies the types and stabilities of the equilibrium solutions, and the overall distribution structure of the nearby.s.lutions is drawn in the phase plane for the further analysis and comparison. The analytical and numerical results are in agreement, and may help to explain the simulated phenomena, such as the stop-and-go wave and oscillation near a bottleneck. The findings demonstrate the model ability to describe the complexity of congested traffic.

In this paper, a new car-following model is presented, taking into account the anticipation of potential lane changing by the leading vehicle. The stability condition of the model is obtained by using the linear stability theory. The modified Korteweg-de Vries （KdV） equation is constructed and solved, and three types of traffic flow in the headway.s.nsitivity.s.ace, namely.s.able, metastable and unstable ones, are classified. Both the analytical and simu- lation results show that anxiety about lane changing does indeed have an influence on driving behavior and that a consideration of lane changing probability in the car-following model could stabilize traffic flows. The quantitative relationship between stability improvement and lane changing probability is also investigated.

In this paper, the two-lane traffic are studied by using the lane-changing rules in the car-following models. The simulation show that the frequent lane changing occurs when the lateral distance in car following activities is considered and it gives rise to oscillating waves. In contrast, if the lateral distance is not considered （or considered occasionally）, the lane changing appears infrequently and soliton waves occurs. This implies that the stabilization mechanism no longer functions when the lane changing is permitted. since the oscillating and soliton waves correspond to the unstable and metastable flow regimes, respectively, our study verifies that a phase transition may occur as a result of the lane changing.

1948年由位于北京城的“中电三厂”出品的电影《深闺疑云》,直接回应了在抗战期间上海曾经上映过的希区柯克导演的作品《深闺疑云》(suspicion),在剧本人物权力关系的置换中完成了因应战乱时代的集体焦虑表达,同1950至60年代由中国香港生产、改编自希区柯克作品《后窗》《迷魂记》的粤语电影《后窗》《回魂夜》一起,组成了一条清晰的华语电影“借桥”希区柯克的脉络。徐昌霖版《深闺疑云》、中国香港版《后窗》和《回魂夜》等三部电影虽然都不曾明确宣布对西片原作的借重,但不约而同步地走上了一条与传统意义上的中国侦探电影或“含有侦探内容”的电影截然不同的“心探”路径。这三部侦探电影作品不仅承继了相关类型的商业特征,更在顺势应时的具体改编中回应了20世纪中期中国内地与中国香港变动不居的社会政治经济格局,形成了“仿作者以言志”或“解构作者以言志”的独特电影创作兴味。同时,这些影片中叙事策略的“伦理化”倾向,直接导致了对希区柯克电影之于好莱坞工业“解构性”的再度解构,形成了既符合不同时代的华语电影主流受众的认同,同时亦体现创作者自身的“电影本体”探索的电影文本转译特点。

Prospective study of Centurion~？ versus Infiniti~？ phacoemulsification systems： surgical and visual outcomes

AIM： To evaluate surgical outcomes（sOs） and visual outcomes（VOs） in cataract surgery comparing the Centurion？ phacoemulsification system（CPs） with the Infiniti？ phacoemulsification system（IPs）.METHODs： Prospective, consecutive study in a singlesite private practice. Totally 412 patients undergoing cataract surgery with either the CPs using the 30-degree balanced？ tip（n=207） or the IPs using the 30-degree Kelman？ tip（n=205）. Intraoperative and postoperative outcomes were documented prospectively up to one month follow-up. Nuclear sclerosis（Ns） grade, cumulated dissipated energy（CDE）, preoperative corrected distance visual acuity（CDVA）, and CDVA at one month were recorded. REsULTs： CDE was 13.50% less in the whole CPs compared with the whole IPs subcohort. In ey.s.with Ns grade III or greater, CDE was 28.87% less with CPs（n=70） compared with IPs（n=44）（P=0.010）. surgical complications were not statistically different between the two subcohorts（P=0.083）, but in the one case of vitreous loss using the CPs, CDVA of 6/4 was achieved at one month. The mean CDVAs（VOs） at one month for Ns grade III and above cataracts were-0.17 log MAR（6/4.5） in the CPs and-0.15 log MAR（6/4.5） in the IPs subcohort respectively（P=0.033）.CONCLUsION： CDE is 28.87% less, and VOs are significantly improved, in denser cataracts in the CPs compared with the IPs. The authors recommend the CPs for cases with denser nuclei.

shape-memory effect(sME) is the ability of a material to change its dimension in a predefined way in response to an external stimulus. Polymers that exhibit sME are an important class of materials in medicine, especially for minimally invasive deployment of devices. However, the rate of translation of the concept to approved products is extremely low, with mostly nitinolbased devices being approved. In this review, the general aspects of the different types of stimuli that can be used to activate sME are reviewed and sterilization issues of shape-memory polymer(sMP)-based medical devices are addressed. In addition, the general usefulness as well as the limitations of the shape-memory effect for biomedical applications are described.

background Biliary atresia(BA)is one of the most challenging hepatobiliary diseases in *** the reasonable outcome of liver transplantation(LT),portoenteral anastomosis(Kasai operation)is still the first choice of treatment for patients with *** to improve the survival rate of the patients with BA in the era of LT is a new *** sources Based on recent original publications and the experience with the BA in China,we review many factors that influence BA survival situation,including early diagnosis and screen plan,defects of early treatment,Kasai operation,and LT and indicate present questions about BA diagnosis and treatment in *** BA diagnosis may also be delayed due to insufficient understanding of BA and lack of jaundice monitoring methods at different levels of the hospitals in *** education of the physicians at smaller city hospitals about BA,neonatal jaundice and cholestasis would be helpful in improving early diagnosis of *** surgical intervention is still the only guarantee to improve the survival rate of BA with native *** In the era of LT,especially in China,Kasai operation can provide waiting time for living donor LT and improve the success rate of LT and minimize the rapid deterioration of liver function of the children with BA and decrease the mortality in patients with BA.
