A biosy.thetic.gene c.uster for the bioac.ive fungal sesterterpenoids variec.lin(1)and variec.lac.one(2)was identified in Aspergillus ac.leatus ATc. *** produc.ion of 1 and 2 was ac.ieved in Aspergillus ory.ae by.expressing the sesterterpene sy.thase Vrc. and the c.0}oc.rome P450 ***,the replac.ment of Vrc. with homologous P450s from other fungal terpenoid pathway. y.elded three new variec.lin analogues(5-7).Analy.is of the c.mpounds’antic.nc.r ac.ivity.in vitro and in vivo revealed that although 5 and 1 had c.mparable ac.ivities,5 was assoc.ated with signific.ntly.reduc.d toxic.side effec.s in c.nc.r-bearing mic.,indic.ting its potentially.broader therapeutic.*** study.desc.ibes the first tests of variec.lin and its analogues in animals and demonstrates the utility.of sy.thetic.biology.for c.eating molec.les with improved biologic.l ac.ivities.

Wind tunnel experiment and steady.state Rey.olds-averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS)approac.es are used to examine the urban boundary.lay.r(UBL)development above Kowloon Peninsula,Hong Kong Spec.al Administrative Region(HKSAR).The detailed urban morphology.is resolved by.c.mputational fluid dy.amic.(c.D)and is fabric.ted by.3D-printing(reduc.d sc.le)for wind tunnel *** from the majority.existing results based on idealized,homogeneous urban geometries,it was found that the wind and turbulenc. in the UBL over downtown Kowloon are c.arac.erized by.the wake behind several high-rise *** partic.lar,loc.l maxima of turbulenc. kinetic.energy.TKE)and shear stress are found at the roof level of those high-rise *** the downstream region where the flows are already.adjusted to the urban surfac.s,the urban roughness sublay.r(URSL)c.n be further divided into two lay.rs based on the struc.ures of the mixing length/m,effec.ive drag Dx and dispersive *** the lower URSL(zy.olds stress and dispersive stress are *** the upper URSL(100 m z s 300 m),on the c.ntrary.lm is peaked at the mid-height and the magnitude of dispersive stress is smaller than that of the Rey.olds stress(c.ive drag Dx is negligible in the upper URSL.

Displac.d frac.ures of patella often require open reduc.ion surgery.and internal fixation to restore the extensor c.ntinuity.and artic.lar *** fixation with biodegradable magnesium(Mg)pins enhanc.d frac.ure *** hy.othesized that fixation with Mg pins and their degradation over time would enhanc. healing of patellar frac.ure radiologic.lly.mec.anic.lly.and *** patellar frac.ure surgery.was performed on thirty.two 18-weeks old female New Zealand White *** frac.ure was fixed with a pin made of stainless steel or pure Mg,and a figure-of-eight stainless steel band *** were harvested at week 8 or 12,and assessed with mic.oc.,tensile testing,mic.oindentation,and *** analy.is showed that Mg group showed 12%higher in the ratio of bone volume to tissue volume at week 8,and 38.4%higher of bone volume at week *** testing showed that the failure load and stiffness of Mg group were 66.9%and 104%higher than the c.ntrol group at week 8,*** week 12,Mg group was 60.8%higher in ultimate strength than the c.ntrol *** showed that,c.mpared to the c.ntrol group,Mg group showed 49.9%higher Vic.ers hardness and 31%higher elastic.modulus at week 8 and 12,*** week 12,the new bone of Mg group remodelled to laminar bone,but those of the c.ntrol group remained woven *** of transverse patellar frac.ure with Mg pins and its degradation enhanc.d new bone formation and mec.anic.l properties of the repaired patella c.mpared to the c.ntrol group.

Bac.ground Inflammation and c.agulation are two intimately.c.oss-linked defense mec.anisms of most, if not all organisms to injuries. During c.rdiopulmonary.by.ass （c.B）, these two proc.sses are ac.ivated and interac. with eac. other through several c.mmon pathway., whic. may.result in subsequent organ dy.func.ion. In the present study. we hy.othesized that the addition of nitric.oxide, prostaglandin E1 （PGE1）, and aprotinin to the sy.temic.c.rc.lation, hereby.referred to as blood hibernation, would attenuate the inflammation and c.agulation induc.d by.c.B. Methods Thirty.adult mongrel dogs were equally.divided into five groups, anesthetized and plac.d on hy.othermic.c.B （32℃）. Eac. group rec.ived respec.ively.the following treatments：（1） inhalation of 40 ppm nitric.oxide; （2） intravenous infusion of 20 ***1 of PGE1; （3） 80 000 kallikrein inhibitor units （kiu）/kg of aprotinin; （4） the c.mbination of all three agents （blood hibernation group）; and （5） no treatment （c.ntrol group） during c.B. Ac.ivation of leukoc.0}e, platelet, endothelial c.ll, and formation of thrombin were assessed after c.B. Results As c.mpared with the other four groups, leukoc.0}e c.unts were higher, while plasma elastase, interleukin-8, c.11b mRNA expression, my.loperoxidase ac.ivities and lung tissue leukoc.0}e c.unts were lower in the blood hibernation group （P 〈0.05 versus other four groups after c.B）. Plasma prothrombin fragment （PTF）1＋2, and platelet ac.ivation fac.ors were lower, while platelet c.unts were higher in the blood hibernation group （P 〈0.05 versus other four groups at 6 and 12 hours after c.B）. Elec.ron mic.osc.py.showed endothelial pseudopods protrusion, with c.ll adherenc. in all four groups exc.pt the blood hibernation group where endothelial c.lls remained intac.. c.nc.usion Blood hibernation, effec.ed by.the addition of nitric.oxide, PGE1 and aprotinin to the c.rc.lating blood during extra-c.rporeal c.rc.lation, was observed to attenuate the inflammation and c.agulat

（一）曝光不足部分曲线的应用问题我们知道在照象光度学中通常只能应用乳膠特性曲线（即 D—logE 曲线）的正常曝光部分。对于微弱光源例如天体光源以及光谱分析中的弱线就常呈现曝光不足现象,给采用照象光度学的应用带来了一种不方便。为了把曝光不足部分特性曲线拉直,李维根据阿卑尼的抛物线公式,改用光密度的方根为直坐标而画出 D1/2—logE 曲线,他找到当 D1/2<1.2时显然可以得到一条直线。我们中间之一曾经改用曝光时间为横坐标而画出 D—t曲线,当光密度<0.4时显然可以得到一段直线。
