摘 要：Objective Asthma is a common chronic inflammatory disease affecting more than 300 million people in the *** Asthma is considered to be a disease with no cure,surveys indicated that up to50%of the asthma patients is seeking or utilizing alternative medicine for *** Jiu therapy has long been used in China to treat Asthma,utilizing Chinese herbal medicine in conjunction with acupuncture *** paper will evaluate Tian Jiu’s efficacy on Asthma based on the published *** Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),The Cochrane Library,PubMed and EMBASE were searched for randomized control trials with treatment groups using Tian Jiu *** comparative studies up to Aug 31,2013,evaluating effective rate,pulmonary function,immune response,recurrence rate,quality of life and adverse events were reviewed and included in this *** Collaboration’s’risk of bias’tool and Review Manager5.2 were used for the data ***6 studies involving more than 650 patients were *** Jiu Therapy was found to have a significantly higher effective rate in comparison to the control *** treatment group also had a bigger drop in IgE level and Eos level in comparing to the control *** studies were of high risk of *** few adverse effects were reported in the included studies and no serious adverse responses were *** All studies indicated that Tian Jiu Therapy has a positive impact on adult asthma patients and it is relatively safe due to its non-invasive ***,the limitation of research design of the existing studies have introduced high risk of bias,more RCTs of better design are needed to further confirm its efficacy and safety.
