BACKGROUND Gastric cancer(GC)is the most common malignant tumor and ranks third for cancer-related deaths among the *** disease poses a serious public health problem in China,ranking fifth for incidence and third for *** of the invasive depth of the tumor is vital to treatment *** To evaluate the diagnostic performance of double contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(DCEUS)for preoperative T staging in patients with GC by comparing with multi-detector computed tomography(MDCT).METHODS This single prospective study enrolled patients with GC confirmed by preoperative gastroscopy from July 2021 to March *** underwent DCEUS,including ultrasonography(US)and intravenous contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CEUS),and MDCT examinations for the assessment of preoperative T *** of GC were identified on DCEUS and criteria developed to evaluate T staging according to the 8th edition of AJCC cancer staging *** diagnostic performance of DCEUS was evaluated by comparing it with that of MDCT and surgical-pathological findings were considered as the gold *** A total of 229 patients with GC(80 T1,33 T2,59 T3 and 57 T4)were *** accuracies were 86.9%for DCEUS and 61.1%for MDCT(P<0.001).DCEUS was superior to MDCT for T1(92.5%vs 70.0%,P<0.001),T2(72.7%vs 51.5%,P=0.041),T3(86.4%vs 45.8%,P<0.001)and T4(87.7%vs 70.2%,P=0.022)staging of *** DCEUS improved the diagnostic accuracy of preoperative T staging in patients with GC compared with MDCT,and constitutes a promising imaging modality for preoperative evaluation of GC to aid individualized treatment decision-making.

NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF HYDRODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS ON AN ARC CROWN WALL USING VOLUME OF FLUID METHOD BASED ON BFC

In the present study, a new algorithm based on the Volume Of Fluid （VOF） method is developed to simulate the hydrodynamic characteristics on an arc crown wall. Structured grids are generated by the coordinate transform method in an arbitrary complex region. The Navier-Stokes equations for two-dimensional incompressible viscous flows are discretized in the Body Fitted Coordinate （BFC） system. The transformed SIMPLE algorithm is proposed to modify the pressure-velocity field and a transformed VOF method is used to trace the free surface. Hydrodynamic characteristics on an arc crown wall are obtained by the improved numerical model based on the BFC system （BFC model）. The velocity field, the pressure field and the time profiles of the water surface near the arc crown wall obtained by using the BFC model and the Cartesian model are compared. The BFC model is verified by experimental results.

An Efficient Technique to Reverse Engineer Minterm Protection Based Camouflaged Circuit

Integrated circuit （IC） camouflaging technique has been applied as a countermeasure against reverse engineering （RE）. However, its effectiveness is threatened by a boolean satisfiability （SAT） based de-camouflaging attack, which is able to restore the camouflaged circuit within only minutes. As a defense to the SAT-based de-camouflaging attack, a brand new camouflaging strategy （called CamoPerturb） has been proposed recently, which perturbs one minterm by changing one gate＇s functionality and then restores the perturbed circuit with a separated camouflaged block, achieving good resistance against the SAT-based attack. In this paper, we analyze the security vulnerabilities of CamoPerturb by illustrating the mechanism of minterm perturbation induced by gate replacement, then propose an attack to restore the changed gate＇s functionality, and recover the camouflaged circuit. The attack algorithm is facilitated by sensitization and implication principles in automatic test pattern generation （ATPG） techniques. Experimental results demonstrate that our method is able to restore the camouflaged circuits with very little time consumption.

Thermal Transport in One-Dimensional FPU-FK Lattices

Thermal transport in the FPU model with Kutta algorithm. The heat flux, local temperature profile, that temperature gradient scales behave as N-1 linearly. FK on-site potential is studied by using fourth-order Runge- and heat conductivity axe simulated and analyzed. It is found The divergence of heat conductivity ~ with system size N is in term of κ ∝ N^α with α = 0.44. It is shown that thermal transport is mainly dependent on the FPU nonlinear and the FK interactions.

Spear and Shield： Evolution of Integrated Circuit Camouflaging

Intellectual property （IP） protection is one of the hardcore problems in hardware security. Semiconductor industry still lacks effective and proactive defense to shield IPs from reverse engineering （RE） based attacks. Integrated circuit （IC） camouflaging technique fills this gap by replacing some conventional logic gates in tile IPs with specially designed logic cells （called camouflaged gates） without changing the functions of tile IPs. The camouflaged gates can perform different logic functions while maintaining an identical look to RE attackers, thus preventing them from obtaining the layout information of the IP directly from RE tools. Since it was first proposed in 2012, circuit camouflaging has become one of the hottest research topics in hardware security focusing on two fundamental problems. How to choose the types of camouflaged gates and decide where to insert them in order to simultaneously minimize the performance overhead and optimize the RE complexity？ How can an attacker de-camouflage a camouflaged circuit and complete the RE attack？ In this article, we review the evolution of circuit camouflaging through this spear and shield race. First, we introduce the design methods of four different kinds of camouflaged ceils based on true/dummy contacts, static random access memory （SRAM）, doping, and emerging devices, respectively. Then we elaborate four representative de-camouflaging attacks： brute force attack, IC testing based attack, satisfiability-based （SAT-based） attack, and the circuit partition based attack, and the corresponding countermeasures： clique-based camouflaging, CamoPerturb, AND-tree camouflaging, and equivalent class based camouflaging, respectively. We argue that the current research efforts should be on reducing overhead introduced by circuit camouflaging and defeating decamouflaging attacks. Baseline predictors of virological response for chronic hepatitis B patients

AIM： To determine which baseline factors of chronic hepatitis B patients are predictive of virological response to Peginterferon α-2b therapy. METHODS： A total of 21 HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B （CriB） patients treated with Peginterferon α-2b were recruited. They were treated with Peginterferon α-2b （0.5-1.0 μg/kg per week） for 24 wk and followed up for 24 wk. Clinical and laboratory data of the patients were determined at pretreatment and at week 12, at 24 during treatment, and at week 48 during follow up. RESULTS： Ten patients achieved a virological response at the end of treatment. Their baseline serum alanine aminotransferase （ALT）, thyroid-stimulating hormone （TSH）, and total thyroxin （TT4） levels were significantly different from those who failed treatment. The positive predictive values （PPV） and negative predictive values （NPV） of ALT, TSH, and TT4 were 75% and 89 %, 75% and 89 %, and 75% and 75%, respectively. Moreover, combinations of the baseline ALT and TT4, ALT and TSH, TT4 and TSH levels had much higher PPV and NPV （86% and 88%, 89% and 100%, 83% and 100%, respectively）.CONCLUSION： Baseline serum ALT, TSH, and TT4 levels, especially in combination, have high predictive values of virological response to Peginterferon α-2b in HBeAg-positive CriB patients.

Effect of Upregulated DNA Replication and Sister Chromatid Cohesion 1 Expression on Proliferation and Prognosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Background: DNA replication and sister chromatid cohesion 1 (DSCC1) (also called DCC1) is a component of an alternative replication factor C complex that loads proliferating cell nuclear antigen onto DNA during S phase of the cell cycle. It is located at 8q24 and frequently amplified in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the role of DSCC1 in the carcinogenesis and progress of HCC has not been fully investigated. Here, we aimed to assert the importance of DSCC1 in the HCC. Methods: In this study, copy number variation data and RNA sequencing data were used to calculate the DNA copy number and mRNA expression of DSCC1 in HCC. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry analysis were used to determine the mRNA and protein level of DSCC1 in HCC. The Kaplan–Meier analysis and univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis were used to assess the association of DSCC1 with the overall survival (OS) of HCC patients. Moreover, lentiviral shRNA was used to knockdown DSCC1, and then, colony?forming assay, cell cycle assay, and cell proliferation assay were performed to evaluate the impact of DSCC1 silencing on HCC cell lines. Results: We found that DSCC1 was amplified and highly expressed in HCC tumor tissues than in nontumor tissues. We then found that the overexpression of both mRNA and protein of DSCC1 was linked to the bad prognosis of HCC patients. Astonishingly, the protein level of DSCC1 was an independent prognostic factor for OS (hazard ratio, 1.79; 95% confidence interval, 1.17–2.74; P = 0.007). Furthermore, the clonogenic capacity of DSCC1?amplified HCC cell lines (MHCC?97H, MHCC?97L, and Hep3B) was significantly inhibited by transduction of a lentiviral shRNA that targets DSCC1. We also showed that knockdown of DSCC1 induced G0–G1 cell cycle arrest (increased from 60% to more than 80%) and greatly inhibited the proliferation of HCC cell lines.
