Perfluoropolyether(PFPE)is a promising material for protective coatings on Li metal anodes due to its chemical inertness and minimal swelling in ***,a conventional PFPE coating with poor ionic conductivity and mechanical stability is still not satisfactory for long-term cycling of Li ***,we design and synthesize an adaptive and high-conductivity supramolecular polymer(PFPE-EG-I).This polymer is constructed from PFPE chains,ethylene glycol(EG)segments,and hydrogen-bonding moieties derived from isophoronediisocyanate,serving as a multifaceted artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI).The incorporated EG segments enhance the Li+conductivity of the SEI,and the hydrogen-bonding units introduce a dynamic self-adaptive behavior to the polymer matrix.A solution-processed PFPE-EG-I coating is demonstrated to promote uniform Li deposition and mitigate side reactions between Li and the ***,this leads to enhanced coulombic efficiency and prolonged cycle longevity in lithium metal batteries(LMBs).The innovative design of this multifunctional artificial SEI offers a promising avenue for the realization of dendrite-free Li anodes,paving the way for the advancement of high-performance LMBs.

The pseudorabies virus(PRV)is identified as a double-helical DNA virus responsible for causing Aujeszky's disease,which results in considerable economic impacts *** enzyme tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase 2(WARS2),a mitochondrial protein involved in protein synthesis,is recognized for its broad expression and vital role in the translation *** findings of our study showed an increase in both mRNA and protein levels of WARS2 following PRV infection in both cell cultures and animal *** WARS2 expression via RNA interference in PK-15 cells led to a reduction in PRV infection rates,whereas enhancing WARS2 expression resulted in increased infection ***,the activation of WARS2 in response to PRV was found to be reliant on the cGAS/STING/TBK1/IRF3 signaling pathway and the interferon-alpha receptor-1,highlighting its regulation via the type I interferon signaling *** analysis revealed that reducing WARS2 levels hindered PRV's ability to promote protein and lipid *** research provides novel evidence that WARS2 facilitates PRV infection through its management of protein and lipid levels,presenting new avenues for developing preventative and therapeutic measures against PRV infections.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of male hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection on male fertility,embryonic development,and in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection(IVF/ICSI)*** performed a retrospective cohort study that included 3965 infertile couples who received fresh embryo transfer cycles for the first time at the Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital(Fuzhou,China)from January 2018 to January *** couples were categorized based on their HBV infection status into the HBV group(HBV-positive men and HBV-negative women)and the control group(HBV-negative couples).A 1:1 propensity score matching was performed with relatively balanced *** characteristics,semen parameters,laboratory outcomes,clinical outcomes,and obstetric and neonatal outcomes were compared between *** propensity score matching,821 couples were included in each *** groups had similar semen parameters and obstetric and neonatal *** HBV group showed a significantly lower live birth rate than the control group(Pbortion rate than the control group(Pboth P<0.05).In conclusion,in couples who undergo IVF/ICSI,male HBV infection reduces the live birth rate and increases the risk of ***,the incidence of low birth weight in women with IVF/ICSI does not increase with male HBV infection.

The autotetraploid Carassius auratus(4nRR,4n=200,RRRR)is derived from whole-genome duplication of Carassius auratus red var.(RCC,2n=100,RR).In the current study,we demonstrated that chromatophores and pigment changes directly caused the coloration and variation of 4nRR skin(red in RCC,brownish-yellow in4nRR).To further explore the molecular mechanisms underlying coloration formation and variation in 4nRR,we performed transcriptome profiling and molecular functional verification in RCC and *** revealed that scarb1,associated with carotenoid metabolism,underwent significant down-regulation in *** editing of this candidate pigment gene provided clear evidence of its significant role in RCC ***,we identified four divergent scarb1 homeologs in 4nRR:two original scarb1 homeologs from RCC and two duplicated ***,three of these homeologs possessed two highly conserved alleles,exhibiting biased and allelespecific expression in the ***,after precise editing of both the original and duplicated scarb1homeologs and/or alleles,4nRR individuals,whether singly or multiply mutated,displayed a transition from brownishyellow skin to a cyan-gray ***,the proportional areas of the cyan-gray regions displayed a gene-dose *** findings illustrate the subfunctionalization of duplicated scarb1,with all scarb1genes synergistically and equally contributing to the pigmentation of *** is the first report concerning the functional differentiation of duplicated homeologs in an autopolyploidfish,substantiallyenrichingour understanding of coloration formation and change within this group of organisms.
