The structure of side chains ofπ-conjugated segments is a critical factor determining living crystallization-driven self-assembly(CDSA),a versatile platform to generate fiber-like nanostructures with precise length and ***,we design and synthesize three block copolymers(BCPs)containing same corona-forming poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide)(PNIPAM)segment,but different core-formingπ-conjugated oligo(p-phenylene vinylene)(OPV)with linear pentyl(l-OPV),racemic 2-methyl butyl(r-OPV)and stereo-regular chiral(S)-2-methyl butyl(c-OPV)side chains,*** using these BCPs of l-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47),r-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47)and c-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47)as model,we aim to get a deep insight into how steric and stereo-regular effect induced by branched alkyl side chains of OPV segment affects the living *** results showed that l-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47)exhibits typical characteristics of self-seeding and seeded growth of living CDSA to give uniform fiber-like micelles of controlled *** the contrary,r-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47)and c-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47)with branched racemic and stereo-regular chiral alkyl side chains are more prone to self-nucleation during the micellar elongation to give short and polydisperse fiber-like *** obvious selfnucleation during the micellar elongation of r-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47)and c-OPV-b-PNIPAM_(47)is due to the increase of steric repulsion with OPV units induced by branched alkyl side chains,not the stereo-irregular effect of racemic alkyl side chains.

Power Optimization Strategy Considering Electric Vehicle in Home Energy Management System

With the development of smart grid, residents have the opportunity to schedule their household appliances （HA） for the purpose of reducing electricity expenses and alleviating the pressure of the smart grid. In this paper, we introduce the structure of home energy management system （EMS） and then propose a power optimization strategy based on household load model and electric vehicle （EV） model for home power usage. In this strategy, the electric vehicles are charged when the price is low, and otherwise, are discharged. By adopting this combined system model under the time-of-use electricity price （TOUP）, the proposed scheduling strategy would effectively minimize the electricity cost and reduce the pressure of the smart grid at the same time. Finally, simulation experiments are carried out to show the feasibility of the proposed strategy. The results show that crossover genetic particle swarm optimization algorithm has better convergence properties than traditional particle swarm algorithm and better adaptability than genetic algorithm.

Energy Management for a Residential Microgrid Using Wavelet Transform and Fuzzy Control Including a Vehicle-to-Grid System

This paper presents the design and implementation of an energy management system （EMS） with wavelet transform and fuzzy control for a residential micro-grid. The hybrid system in this paper consists of a wind turbine generator, photovoltaic （PV） panels, an electric vehicle （EV）, and a super capacitor （SC）, which is able to connect or disconnect to the main grid. The control strategy is responsible for compensating the difference between the generated power by the wind and solar generators and the demanded power by the loads. Wavelet transform decomposes the power difference into a smoothed component and a fast fluctuated component. The command approach used for fuzzy logic rules considers the state of charging （SOC） of EV, renewable production, and the load demand as parameters. Furthermore, the command rules are developed in order to ensure a reliable grid when taking into account the EV battery protection to decide the output power of the EV. The model of the hybrid system is developed in detail under Matlab/Simulink software environment.

As the main organic acid in fruits,malate is produced in the cytoplasm and is then transported into the *** accumulates by vacuolar proton pumps,transporters,and channels,affecting the taste and flavor of *** the three types of proton pumps(V-ATPases,V-PPases,and P-ATPases),the P-ATPases play an important role in the transport of malate into *** this study,the transcriptome data,collected at different stages after blooming and during storage,were analyzed and the results demonstrated that the expression of MdPH5,a vacuolar proton-pumping P-ATPase,was associated with both pre-and post-harvest malate ***,MdPH5 is localized at the tonoplast and regulates malate accumulation and vacuolar *** addition,MdMYB73,an upstream MYB transcription factor of MdPH5,directly binds to its promoter,thereby transcriptionally activating its expression and enhancing its *** this way,MdMYB73 can also affect malate accumulation and vacuolar ***,this study clarifies how MdMYB73 and MdPH5 act to regulate vacuolar malate transport systems,thereby affecting malate accumulation and vacuolar pH.

Lithium-sulfur batteries are severely restricted by low electronic conductivity of sulfur and Li_(2)S,shuttle effect,and slow conversion reaction of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs).Herein,we report a facile and highyield strategy for synthesizing dual-core single-atom catalyst(ZnCoN_(4)O_(2)/CN)with atomically dispersed nitrogen/oxygen-coordinated Zn-Co sites on carbon *** on density functional theory(DFT)calculations and LiPSs conversion catalytic ability,ZnCoN_(4)O_(2)/CN provides dual-atom sites of Zn and Co,which could facilitate Li^(+)transport and Li_(2)S diffusion,and catalyze LiPSs conversion more effectively than homonuclear bimetallic single-atom catalysts or their simple mixture and previously reported singleatom ***-S cell with ZnCoN_(4)O_(2)/CN modified separator showed excellent rate performance(789.4 mA h g^(-1)at 5 C)and stable long cycle performance(0.05%capacity decay rate at 6C with 1000cycles,outperforming currently reported single atomic catalysts for LiPSs *** work highlights the important role of metal active centers and provides a strategy for producing multifunctional dual-core single atom catalysts for high-performance Li-S cells.

Scheduling in a Meta Search Engine by Genetic Algorithm

The meta search engines provide service to the users by dispensing the users' requests to the existing search engines. The existing search engines selected by meta search engine determine the searching quality. Because the performance of the existing search engines and the users' requests are changed dynamically, it is not favorable for the fixed search engines to optimize the holistic performance of the meta search engine. This paper applies the genetic algorithm (GA) to realize the scheduling strategy of agent manager in our meta search engine, GSE(general search engine), which can simulate the evolution process of living things more lively and more efficiently. By using GA, the combination of search engines can be optimized and hence the holistic performance of GSE can be improved dramatically.

Growth associated protein-43 （GAP-43） is considered to be one of the most useful molecular markers for the neural development, nerve regeneration, and neuroplasticity. In most mature neurons, the expression of GAP-43 is at very low or negative level; its expression is triggered in response to the interruption of axonal transport. The purpose of this study was to examine whether continuous sciatic nerve block by tetrodotoxin （TTX） affects GAP-43 expression in the dorsal root ganglion （DRG） of normal and sciatic nerve injury rats.

Laparoscopic liver resection utilizing the ventral avascular area of the inferior vena cava:A retrospective cohort study
