Vancomycin-induced thrombocytopenia in endocarditis:A case report and review of literature

Superior Energy and Power Density Realized in Pb(Hf_(1-x)Ti_(x))O_(3) System at Low Electric Field

The development of antiferroelectric materials with large energy density and fast discharge speed makes dielectric capacitors possess great prospects for applications in pulsed power ***,the PbHfO_(3)-based ceramics with compositions of Pb(Hf_(1-x)Ti_(x))O_(3)(PHT,0.01≤x≤0.05)were synthesized,and their antiferroelectricity and phase transition behavior were *** to the tests of x-ray diffraction,dielectric spectrum,and polarization-electric field hysteresis loops,PHT ceramics gradually transition from an orthorhombic symmetric antiferroelectric phase to a hexagonal symmetric ferroelectric phase at room temperature as Ti^(4+)concentration *** forward phase switching field of antiferroelectric to ferroelectric phase transition can be markedly regulated by the introduction of Ti^(4+),and the optimal energy storage performance was obtained in Pb(Hf_(0.98)Ti_(0.02))O_(3) ceramics with a large recoverable energy storage density of Wrec~4.15 J/cm^(3) and efficiency ofη~65.3%only at a low electric field of 190 kV/***,the outstanding charge-discharge properties with an ultrafast discharge time(71 ns),remarkable discharged energy density(2.84 J/cm^(3)),impressive current density(1,190 A/cm^(2)),and ultrahigh power density(101 MW/cm^(3))at a low electric field of 170 kV/cm were obtained in studied *** excellent energy storage performance of PHT ceramics provides a promising platform for the application of dielectric capacitors.

Effect and Mechanism of Cold Tolerant Seed-Coating Agents on the Cold Tolerance of Early Indica Rice Seedlings

To better understand the effect and mechanism of cold tolerant seed-coating agents on the cold tolerance of rice seedlings, the physiological and biochemical effects of four cold tolerant seed-coating agents （HET, YKJ, YKZYJ, and the ABA seed coating agents） on two early indica rice varieties were studied under chilling stress. The results showed that the rice seedlings treated with cold tolerant seed-coating agents under chilling stress maintained dramatically higher root vigor, POD, CAT and SOD activities, and chlorophyll content, had lower MDA content and electrolyte leakage, and accumulated more soluble sugar and free proline, when compared with the control without the treatment, and finally showed lower plant injury rate. It was indicated that the cold tolerant seed coating agent improved the ability of rice seedlings in resisting to chilling stress. YKZYJ was ranked the first in terms of the efficiency in cold tolerance among the four cold tolerant seed-coating agents tested.

Protective effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes against the reproductive toxicity of cyclophosphamide is associated with the p38MAPK/ERK and AKT signaling pathways

Spermatogenic dysfunction caused by cyclophosphamide(CP)chemotherapy has seriously influenced the life quality of ***,treatments for CP-induced testicular spermatogenic dysfunction are limited,and the molecular mechanisms are not fully *** the first time,here,we explored the effects of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes(BMSC-exos)on CP-induced testicular spermatogenic dysfunction in vitro and in ***-exos could be taken up by spermatogonia(GC1-spg cells).CP-injured GC1-spg cells and BMSC-exos were cocultured at various doses,and then,cell proliferation was measured using 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)*** addition,photophosphorylation of extracellular-regulated kinase(ERK),p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(p38MAPK),and protein kinase B(AKT)proteins was evaluated by western blotting as well as apoptosis in GC1-spg cells measured using flow *** with BMSC-exos enhanced cell proliferation and reduced apoptosis of CP-injured GCI-spg *** levels of ERK,AKT,and p38MAPK proteins were reduced in CP-injured spermatogonia when co-treated with BMSC-exos,indicating that BMSC-exos acted against the reproductive toxicity of CP via the p38MAPK/ERK and AKT signaling *** experiments in vivo,CP-treated rats received BMSC-exos by injection into the tail vein,and testis morphology was compared between treated and control *** showed that transfusion of BMSC-exos inhibited the pathological changes in CP-injured ***,BMSC-exos could counteract the reproductive toxicity of CP via the p38MAPK/ERK and AKT signaling *** findings provide a potential treatment for CP-induced male spermatogenic dysfunction using BMSC-exos.

Reduction behavior of iron ore powder by high-volatile coal in thermogravimetric-gas chromatographic and kinetic analysis

The reduction behavior of iron ore powder by high-volatile coal was investigated,and its kinetic mechanism was *** effect of volatiles in coal on the reduction reaction of iron ore was compared by utilizing a Xinjiang lignite with a high volatile content and its pyrolysis carbon produced by high-temperature pyrolysis to remove volatiles,serving as a *** mass loss and gas composition of the samples during the reduction process were detected using thermo-gravimetric analysis and gas chromatography,and the morphological changes of iron ore powder were observed through scanning electron *** kinetic parameters of the iron oxide reduction reaction were calculated by the Flynn-Ozawa-Wall method,and the kinetic mechanism of volatile participation in the iron oxide reduction reaction was determined through the Coats-Redfern *** results indicate that the coupling effect between the high-volatile coal pyrolysis and reduction reactions occurs during the second stage of the entire coupling process,which corresponds to the late stage of coal pyrolysis with a substantial release of H_(2)and *** volatiles in coal actively participated in the reduction reaction,reducing the initiation temperature of the reaction by around 200℃.The reduction of iron oxides by high-volatile coal was jointly promoted by the"hydrogen cycle"and"carbon cycle",resulting in a higher reduction extent and metallization rate at the end of the *** high-volatile coal was used as the reductant,the average activation energy for the entire process was 76.5 kJ/mol,a significant decrease compared to the employment of pyrolysis carbon without volatiles as the reductant(1167 kJ/mol).

Quercetin Alleviates Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Cardiac Inflammation via Inhibiting Autophagy and Programmed Cell Death
