Photonics integration of an optoelectronic oscillator(OEO)on a chip is attractive for fabricating low cost,compact,low power consumption,and highly reliable microwave sources,which has been demonstrated recently in silicon on insulator(SOI)and indium phosphide(InP)platforms at X-band around 8 *** we demonstrate the first integration of OEOs on the thin film lithium niobate(TFLN)platform,which has the advantages of lower Vπ,no chirp,wider frequency range,and less sensitivity to *** have successfully realized two different OEOs operating at Ka-band,with phase noises even lower than those of the X-band OEOs on SOI and InP *** is a fixed frequency OEO at 30 GHz realized by integrating a Mach–Zehnder modulator(MZM)with an add-drop microring resonator(MRR),and the other is a tunable frequency OEO at 20–35 GHz realized by integrating a phase modulator(PM)with a notch *** work marks the first step of using TFLN to fabricate integrated OEOs with high frequency,small size,low cost,wide range tunability,and potentially low phase noise.

In the realm of genetically transformed crops,the process of plant regeneration holds utmost ***,the low regeneration efficiency of several wheat varieties currently restricts the use of genetic transformation for gene functional analysis and improved crop *** research explores overex-pression of TaLAX PANICLE1(TaLAX1),which markedly enhances regeneration efficiency,thereby boost-ing genetic transformation and genome editing in *** noteworthy is the substantial increase in regeneration efficiency of common wheat varieties previously regarded as recalcitrant to genetic *** study shows that increased expression of TaGROWTH-REGULATING FACTOR(TaGRF)genes,alongside that of their co-factor,TaGRF-INTERACTING FACTOR 1(TaGIF1),enhances cytokinin accumulation and auxin response,which may play pivotal roles in the improved regeneration and transfor-mation of TaLAX1-overexpressing wheat *** of TaLAX1 homologs also significantly in-creases the regeneration efficiency of maize and soybean,suggesting that both monocot and dicot crops can benefit from this *** shed light on a gene that enhances wheat genetic trans-formation and elucidate molecular mechanisms that potentially underlie wheat regeneration.

Metal-organic nanosheets(MONs)as a novel material with tunable pore structures and low mass transfer resistance,have emerged as molecular sieves for the separation of gases and *** theory,they can also serve as ion sieves for lithium metal batteries(LMBs),realizing the high-energy and dendritic free ***,there are rarely relevant reports,because it is difficult to simultaneously balance efficient ion sieving ability,high ion passing rate and high electrochemical ***,we synthesized a stable ultrathin MON[Zn_(2)(Bim)_(4)]([Zn_(2)(Bim)_(4)]Nanosheet,HBim=benzimidazolate),which can achieve both efficient lithium ion sieving ability,high lithium ion passing rate and high electrochemical stability at the same *** separator assembled by this MON exhibits high Li^(+)transfer number of 0.81 due to the accurate lithium ion and anion/solvent *** battery containing such separator shows high lithium ionic conductivity of 0.74 m S cm^(-1)and low activation energy of 0.099 eV,which can be attributed to the nanometer level thickness and the ion sieving *** is more,we realized the application of MONs-based ion sieves in LMBs with intercalation cathodes for the first *** the LiFePO_(4)|Li battery with as-assembled separator demonstrates improved Coulombic efficiency(>99%)and significantly extended cycling life(>1600 cycles)with 80%capacity retention.

This paper is concerned with event-triggered H∞control of sampled-data systems. Its novelties lie in three aspects:（i） A novel accumulated-state-error-based event-triggered scheme is introduced by comparing the integral of the state error from tk to t with the system state sampled at tk. This condition works well due to the fact that the so-called Zeno behaviour does not occur.（ii） A novel Lyapunov functional is constructed to establish a criterion to ensure some certain H∞performance of the closed-loop system. This Lyapunov functional is dependent on the integral of the state error involved in the event-triggered scheme.（iii） Under the event-triggered sampling scheme, suitable state-feedback controllers can be designed rather than be given a priori. Moreover, a self-triggered implementation of the proposed event-triggered sampling scheme is presented as well. Finally, a batch reactor model and an inverted pendulum system are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)function as key modulators in mammalian immunity,particularly due to their involvement in lncRNA-mediated competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)*** their recognized significance in mammals,research on lncRNAs in lower vertebrates remains *** the present study,we characterized the first immune-related lncRNA(pol-lnc78)in the teleost Japanese flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus).Results indicated that pol-lnc78 acted as a ceRNA for pol-miR-n199-3p to target the sterile alpha and armadillo motif-containing protein(SARM),the fifth discovered member of the Toll/interleukin 1(IL-1)receptor(TIR)adaptor *** ceRNA network regulated the antibacterial responses of flounder via the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling ***,SARM acted as a negative regulator and exacerbated bacterial infection by inhibiting the expression of inflammatory cytokines IL-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Pol-miR-n199-3p reduced SARM expression by specifically interacting with the 3’untranslated region(UTR),thereby promoting SARM-dependent inflammatory cytokine expression and protecting the host against bacterial ***,pol-lnc78 sponged pol-miR-n199-3p to ameliorate the inhibition of SARM *** infection,the negative regulators pol-lnc78 and SARM were significantly down-regulated,while pol-miR-n199-3p was significantly up-regulated,thus favoring host antibacterial *** findings provide novel insights into the mechanisms underlying fish immunity and open new horizons to better understand ceRNA crosstalk in lower vertebrates.

The mechanical behavior of polymer networks is intrinsically correlated with the local chain topology and chain *** this study,we delve into this relationship through the lens of coarse-grained molecular dynamics(CG-MD)*** aim is to illuminate the intricate interplay between local topology and stress distribution within polymer monomers,cross-linkers,and various components with distinct cross-link connections,thereby elucidating their collective impact on the mechanical properties of polymer *** mainly focus on how specific local structures contribute to the overall mechanical response of the *** particular,we employ local stress analysis to unravel the mechanics of these *** findings reveal the diverse responses of individual components,such as junctions,strands,cross-linkers between junctions,and dangling chain ends,when subjected to ***,we observe that these components exhibit varying degrees of deformation tolerance,underscoring the significance of their roles in determining the mechanical characteristics of the *** investigations highlight junctions as primary contributors to stress accumulation,and particles with higher local stress showing a stronger correlation between stress and Voronoi ***,our results indicate that both strands and cross-linkers between junctions exhibit heightened stress levels as strand lengths *** study enhances our understanding of the multifaceted factors governing the mechanical attributes of cross-linked polymer systems at the microstructural level.
