Collective cell migration is extensively observed in embryo development and cancer *** these processes,the interactions between cells with distinct identities and fates are of importance for boundary formation and host defense against *** this paper,we explore the collective dynamics of a two-dimensional cell mixing monolayer consisting of non-tumorigenic mammary epithelial cells and breast cancer *** show that the epithelial–cancerous cell mixing system displays unique sorting *** epithelial cells aggregate to form scattered clusters,which perform random motion with simultaneous translation and rotation,strikingly distinct from the classical persistent random walk of individual migratory *** motility of cancer cells is markedly promoted by the epithelial clusters,exhibiting remarkable contact enhancement of locomotion.A discrete model based on the Johnson–Kendall–Roberts contact mechanics is proposed to identify the influence of intercellular interactions,active migration forces and cell–substrate friction forces on the collective cell *** findings could advance our understanding of many biological processes,such as cancer metastasis and tissue morphogenesis.

中国是世界上为数不多能够成功地将网络领域既转化为充满活力的文坛,又转化为成功的软实力工具的国家。标志着网络时代到来的代表性人物,他们的作品至今仍然畅销,并且可以长久销售。但是,尽管如此,虽然一些作家如安妮宝贝、韩寒或慕容雪村等拥有广泛的读者群,却没有引起学术界太多的关注。本文借鉴了邵燕君(北京大学中文系副教授)关于传统的文学生产机制和所谓的新型文学机制的划分,旨在分析新型文学机制(即网络文学论坛)是否塑造了翻译文本的特征,以及是否应该在翻译中传达这些特征。本文主要以作者自译作品安妮宝贝短篇小说《七月与安生》的文体和语言特征为研究对象,主要从三个层面进行探讨:文本经济性、非寻常标点、如何通过文化负载词再现文本的传媒介质特征。本文的结论是:新型文学机制下的文本创作会影响翻译行为。

This paper develops new results on iterative learning control of a class of spatially interconnected systems for the particular case of the passive or active electric ladder *** task is performed by converting the problem to one of stability along the trial for a differential linear repetitive process,leading to design based on linear matrix inequality *** particular,sufficient conditions for the existence of a control law are developed together with the design algorithms for the associated controller *** this control law the resulting ILC dynamics have an asymptotic convergence in terms of an error sequence formed from the difference between both the distributed reference trajectory and the current trial output ***,an illustrative simulation is given to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the new designs.

＜正＞The paper deals with investigations concerning the structure and state of dispersive precipitations of the phases consolidating in the high-strength steel Weldox 1300 after its high temperature thermomechanical treatment. Making use of transmission technique of electron microscopy（TEM） mainly the microstructure and morphology of martensite was analysed,as well as the state of dispersive precipitations of carbides and nitrides resulting from microadditives of such alloys as Nb,V,Ti or B,introduced into the *** revealed both a fine lathed and twin structure of the matrix of martensite in the investigated *** means of the method of electron diffraction particles of secondary strengthening phases of the M（C,N） type of a nanocrystalline size could be identified,and also non-metallic oxide inclusions,affecting the mechanism of strengthening of the investigated steel.

Serum concentration of sFas and sFasL in healthy HBsAg carriers,chronic viral hepatitis B and C patients

AIM: To estimate the amount of apoptosis among healthy HBsAg carriers, patients with chronic HBV infection treated with lamivudine and patients with chronic HCV infedJon treated with interferon alpha and ribavirin. Activity of apoptosis was evaluated by serum sFas/sFasL concentration *** dependence between apoptosis and HBV-DNA or HCV-RNA levels was ***: Eighty-six persons were included into study: 34 healthy HBsAg carriers, 33 patients with chronic HBV infection and 19 patients with chronic HCV infection. Serum levels of sFas/sFasL were measured by ELISA assay. HBV-DNA and HCV-RNA were measured by RT-PCR assay. Levels of sFas/sFasL were determined before and 2 and 12 wk after therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B and C ***-DNA or HCV-RNA was detected before treatment and 6 mo after ***: Twenty-four (71%) healthy HBsAg carriers showed HBV-DNA over 10^5/mL, which was comparable to the patients with chronic hepatitis B. Independently from HBV-DNA levels,the concentration of sFas among healthy HBsAg carriers was comparable to healthy persons. Among patients with chronic hepatitis B and C, the concentration of sFas was significantly higher in comparison to healthy HBsAg carriers and healthy persons. In chronic hepatitis B patients the concentration of sFas was decreased during lamivudine treatment. Among chronic hepatitis C patients the concentration of sFas was increased during IFN alpha and ribavirin treatment, sFasL was not detected in control group. Furthermore sFasL oo:urred more frequently in chronic hepatitis C patients in comparison to chronic hepatitis B ***: There are no correlations between apoptosis and HBV-DNA levels. However ther is an association between apoptosis and activity of inflammation in patients with chronic HBV infection. Apoptosis can be increased in patients with chronic hepatitis C by effective treatment which may be a result of apoptosis stimulation by IFN-α.

Fulminant liver failure following a marathon: Five case reports and review of literature

BACKGROUND The growing popularity of marathon and half-marathon runs has led to an increased number of patients presenting with exertion-induced heat stroke. Mild hepatic involvement is often observed in these patients;however, fulminant liver failure may occur in approximately 5% of all cases. Liver transplantation is a potentially curative approach for exertion-induced liver failure, although there is a lack of consensus regarding the criteria and optimal timing of this intervention. CASE SUMMARY This paper describes 5 patients (4 men and 1 woman) who were referred to the department where this study was performed with the diagnosis of exertioninduced acute liver failure. Three patients underwent liver transplantation, 1 recovered spontaneously, and 1 patient died on day 11 following the exertion. CONCLUSION Exertion-induced heat stroke may present as fulminant liver failure. These patients may recover with conservative treatment, may require liver transplantation, or may die. No definitive criteria are available to determine patient suitability for a conservative vs surgical approach.

Four-year follow up of hepatitis C patients vaccinated against hepatitis B virus

AIM: Patients with chronic hepatitis C have been recommended to receive vaccinations against hepatitis B. Our study aimed at evaluating the hepatitis B immunogenicity and efficacy against hepatitis B virus infection 4 years after primary immunization series in a group of patients with chronic hepatitis ***: We recruited 36 out of 48 hepatitis C virus (HCV) infected individuals who were vaccinated against hepatitis B virus (20 μg of recombinant HBsAg at 0-1-6mo schedule) in 1998. Here we measured anti-HBs titers and anti-HBc 4 years after delivery of the third dose of primary immunization ***: After 4 years a total of 13/36 (36%) HCV infected patients had seroprotective titers of anti-HBs compared with 9/10 (90%) in the control group, (P＜0.05).Similarly the mean concentration of anti-HBs found in hepatitis C patients was significantly lower than that found in healthy subjects (18.3 and 156.0 mIU/mL respectively (P＜0.05). None of the HCV infected patients or controls became infected with HBV during the study period as confirmed by anti-HBc ***: We demonstrated that 4 years after HBV immunizations' more than 60% of vaccinated HCV patients did not maintain seroprotective levels of anti-HBs, which might put them at risk of clinically significant breakthrough infections. Further follow-up studies are required to clarify whether memory B and T lymphocytes can provideprotection in chronic hepatitis C patients in the absence or inadequate titers of anti-HBs.

Use of ebselen as a neuroprotective agent in rat spinal cord subjected to traumatic injury

Spinal cord injury(SCI) causes disturbances of motor *** radicals have been shown to be essential for the development of spinal cord *** some progress,until now no effective pharmacological therapies against SCI have been *** purpose of our experiment was to investigate the neuroprotective effects of ebselen on experimental ***-two rats subjected to SCI were randomly subjected to SCI with no further treatment(n = 10) or intragastric administration of ebselen(10 mg/kg) immediately and 24 hours after *** changes were assessed using the Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan locomotor scale and footprint test during 12 weeks after *** and immunohistochemical analyses of spinal cords and brains were performed at 12 weeks after *** resonance imaging analysis of spinal cords was also performed at 12 weeks after *** treated with ebselen presented only limited neurobehavioral progress as well as reduced spinal cord injuries compared with the control group,namely length of lesions(cysts/scars)visualized histopathologically in the spinal cord sections was less but cavity area was very *** same pattern was found in T2-weighted magnetic resonance images(cavities) and diffusion-weighted images(scars).The number of FluoroGold retrogradely labeled neurons in brain stem and motor cortex was several-fold higher in ebselen-treated rats than in the control *** findings suggest that ebselen has only limited neuroprotective effects on injured spinal *** exprimental procedures were approved by the Local Animal Ethics Committee for Experiments on Animals in Katowice(Katowice,Poland)(approval No.19/2009).

目的:主要研究病态肥胖患者与正常人血清中金属蛋白酶2(MMP-2)、MMP-9、MMP-13和脂联素的浓度。创新点:建立血清中MMP-2、MMP-9、MMP-13和脂联素的浓度与肥胖和切口疝的关系。方法:参与实验的人员为进行肥胖手术的患者和不进行肥胖手术的患者,并将他们分为两组:I(体重指数(BMI)≥35 kg/m2,n=40)和I(IBMI<25 kg/m2,n=30),并使用酶联免疫吸附实验测定受试人员体内血清中MMP-2、MMP-9、MMP-13和脂联素的浓度。结论:MMP-2的浓度在肥胖组中更高,且在两组血清中有显著性差异。虽然MMP-9的浓度在肥胖组中更高,但是两组之间没有显著性差异。MMP-13在两组间没有差异。血清中脂联素的浓度在非肥胖组更高,但无显著性差异。因此,血清中MMP-2和MMP-9的浓度在肥胖人群中与更高的切口疝发病率有关。
