Glass fibers(GFs)/epoxy laminated composites always present weak interlaminar shear strength(ILSS)and low cross-plane thermal conductivity coefficient(λ⊥).In this work,silica-sol,synthesized from tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS)and KH-560 via sol-gel method,was employed to functionalize the surface of GFs(Si-GFs).Together with a spherical boron nitride(BNN-30),the thermally conductive BNN-30/Si-GFs/epoxy laminated composites were then *** demonstrate that Si-sol is beneficial to the improvement of mechanical properties for epoxy laminated composites(especially for ILSS).The BNN-30/Si-GFs/epoxy laminated composites with 15 wt%BNN-30 fillers display the optimal comprehensive ***-planeλ(λ//)andλ⊥reach the maximum of 2.37 and 1.07 W.m-1.K-1,146.9%and 132.6%higher than those of SiGFs/epoxy laminated composites(λ//=0.96 W.m-1.K-1 andλ⊥=0.46 W.m-1K-1),respectively,and also about 10.8 and 4.9 times those of pure epoxy resin(λ//=λ⊥,0.22 W.m-1.K-1).And the heat-resistance index(THRI),dielectric constant(ε),dielectric loss(tanδ),breakdown strength(E0),surface resistivity(ρs)as well as volume resistivity(ρv)are 197.3℃,4.95,0.0046,22.3 ***-1,1.8×1014Ω,and 2.1×1014Ω.cm,respectively.

This work proposes a facile fabrication strategy for thermally conductive graphite nanosheets/poly(lactic acid) sheets with ordered GNPs(o-GNPs/PLA) via fused deposition modeling(FDM) 3 D printing *** combinations of o-GNPs/PLA with Ti_(3) C_(2) T_(x) films prepared by vacuum-assisted filtration were carried out by "layer-by-layer stacking-hot pressing" to be the thermally conductive Ti_(3) C_(2) T_(x)/(oGNPs/PLA) composites with superior electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(EMI SE).When the content of GNPs was 18.60 wt%and 4 layers of Ti_(3) C_(2) T_(x)(6.98 wt%) films were embedded,the in-plane thermal conductivity coefficient(λ_(Ⅱ)) and EMI SE(EMI SE_(Ⅱ)) values of the thermally conductive Ti_(3) C_(2) T_(x)/(o-GNPs/P LA) composites significantly increa sed to 3.44 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1) and 65 d B(3.00 mm),increased by 1223.1% and2066.7%,respectively,compared with λ_(Ⅱ)(0.26 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)) and EMI SE_(Ⅱ)(3 d B) of neat PLA *** work offers a novel and easily route for designing and manufacturing highly thermally conductive polymer composites with superior EMI SE for broader application.

Constructing controllable thermal conduction networks is the key to efficiently improve thermal conductivities of polymer *** this work,graphite oxide(GO)and functionalized carbon nanotubes(f-CNTs)are combined to prepare“Line-Plane”-like hetero-structured thermally conductive GO@f-CNTs fillers,which are then performed to construct controllable 3D GO@f-CNTs thermal conduction networks via selfsacrificing template method based on oxalic ***,thermally conductive GO@f-CNTs/polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)composites are fabricated via casting *** the size of oxalic acid is 0.24 mm and the volume fraction of GO@f-CNTs is 60 vol%,GO@f-CNTs/PDMS composites present the optimal thermal conductivity coefficient(λ,4.00 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)),about 20 times that of theλof neat PDMS(0.20 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)),also much higher than theλ(2.44 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))of GO/f-CNTs/PDMS composites with the same amount of randomly dispersed ***,the obtained GO@f-CNTs/PDMS composites have excellent thermal stability,whoseλdeviation is only about 3%after 500 thermal cycles(20-200℃).

Hidden correlation of the effect mechanism on chronic gastritis treated with ginger-isolated moxibustion at different single acupoints

Objective: To observe the differences in the effects and mechanisms on chronic gastritis treated by ginger-isolated moxibustion at Zúsānlǐ(足三里ST 36) and Nèiguān(内关PC 6).Methods: A total of 60 eligible patients of chronic gastritis were randomized into two groups, a ST 36 group(ginger-isolated moxibustion at ST 36, 30 cases) and a PC 6 group(ginger-isolated moxibustion at PC 6, 30 cases). Before and after 6 treatments, the total variability of heart rate(TV) and the scores in Scale for gastrointestinal diseases of traditional Chinese medicine were determined and recorded. Using correlation analysis, the hidden correlation condition that affects the therapeutic outcomes was excavated from the data. With least square method, the gradient curve(K value) of TV in treatment was estimated and the correlation between the effect mechanism and autonomic nerve regulation was ***: ① In ST 36 group, the duration of sickness, severity of disease and the activity of autonomic nerve before treatment presented the underlying correlation with the therapeutic effects. In contrast, the hidden correlation in PC 6 group was not clear. ② In ST 36 group, the higher K value of TV in treatment was, the more significant the therapeutic effects were, but in PC group, K value was reversely related to the therapeutic ***: The therapeutic effects of ginger-isolated moxibustion at single acupoint are correlated with the duration and severity of sickness. The therapeutic effects in ST 36 group were improved by the modulation of autonomic nerve activity and the effects in PC 6 group were negatively correlated with autonomic nerve activity. It is deduced that the effect mechanisms are different on single acupoint for chronic gastritis between the two points.

BACKGROUND Adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)-independent Cushing's syndrome(CS) is mostly due to unilateral tumors, with bilateral tumors rarely reported. Its common causes include primary pigmented nodular adrenocortical disease,ACTH-independent macronodular adrenal hyperplasia, and bilateral adrenocortical adenomas(BAAs) or carcinomas. BAAs causing ACTHindependent CS are rare; up to now, fewer than 40 BAA cases have been reported. The accurate diagnosis and evaluation of BAAs are critical for determining optimal treatment options. Adrenal vein sampling(AVS) is a good way to diagnose ACTH-independent *** SUMMARY A 31-year-old woman had a typical appearance of CS. The oral glucose tolerance test showed impaired glucose tolerance and obviously increased insulin and Cpeptide levels. Her baseline serum cortisol and urine free cortisol were elevated and did not show either a circadian rhythm or suppression with dexamethasone administration. The peripheral 1-deamino-8-D-arginine-vasopressin(DDVAP)stimulation test showed a delay of the peak level, which was 1.05 times as high as the baseline level. Bilateral AVS results suggested the possibility of *** computed tomography showed bilateral adrenal adenomas with atrophic adrenal glands(right: 3.1 cm × 2.0 cm × 1.9 cm; left: 2.2 cm × 1.9 cm × 2.1 cm). Magnetic resonance imaging of the pituitary gland demonstrated normal findings. A left adenomectomy by retroperitoneoscopy was performed first,followed by resection of the right-side adrenal mass 3 mo later. Biopsy results of both adenomas showed cortical tumors. Evaluations of ACTH and cortisol showed a significant decrease after left adenomectomy but could still not be suppressed, and the circadian rhythm was absent. Following bilateral adenomectomy, this patient has been administered with prednisone until now,all of her symptoms were alleviated, and she had normal blood pressure without edema in either of her lower *** BAAs causing ACTH-inde

Tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) have improved the overall survival of patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs), but their side effects can impact dose intensity and, consequently, the clinical benefit. To date, no guideline or consensus has been published on the TKI-associated adverse reactions. Therefore, the Chinese Society of Surgeons for Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association organized an expert panel discussion involving representatives from gastrointestinal surgery, medical oncology, cardiology, dermatology, nephrology, endocrinology, and ophthalmology to consider the systemic clinical symptoms, molecular and cellular mechanisms, and treatment recommendations of GISTs. Here, we present the resultant evidence-and experience-based consensus to guide the management of TKI-associated side events in clinical practice.
