Custard apple is a dry land *** leaves exhibit different pharmacological *** the present study,both silver(Ag)nanoparticles and chitosan-coated Ag(Chi-Ag)nanoparticles were fabricated using the aqueous leaf extract of the custard apple *** preliminary phytochemical analysis,various types of phytocompounds were found in the aqueous leaf extract of the same ***,both nanoparticles were physiochemically *** analysis exhibited the fingerprint vibrational peaks of active bioactive compounds in plant extract,Ag nanoparticles,and Chi-Ag ***/Visible spectral analysis revealed the highest absorbance peak at 419 nm,indicating the presence of Ag *** analysis presented the face-centered cubic(fCC)structure of both prepared ***,the average crystalline size of both Ag nanoparticles and Chi-Ag nanoparticles was calculated to be 23 and 74 nm,*** analysis showed the spherical and cubical shapes of Ag nanoparticles and Chi-Ag nanoparticles,*** analysis indicated a peak around 3.29 keV,conforming to the binding energies of Ag *** biogenic nanomaterial also showed strong antibacterial activity against all tested bacterial pathogens.

The current study used RP-HPLC to compare phytochemicals and estimate the bioactive constituents found in Stevia rebaudiana Bert.(SRB)leaves collected from two different geographical *** leaves were collected from Bangalore,Karnataka,India,and Reduit,*** were prepared using ethanol and aqueous sol*** analysis was used to evaluate moisture content,ash values,crude fibers,and extractive *** that,preliminary phytochemical screening was done on both ethanol leaves extracts,and subsequently total flavonoid content was *** addition,TLC chromatograms and RP-HPLC studies were performed on both plant extracts to determine the presence of flavonoid components in both leaves extracts,followed by in vitro anti-diabetic activity was performed with alpha amylase and alpha glucosidase enzymes against Acarbose as *** revealed that both the extracts from two different geographical sources varied significantly with the yield,content of chemicals,and presence of quercetin(flavonoid)content when estimated through the RP-HPLC standardized ***,flavonoids,proteins,steroids,saponins,terpenoids,and phenols were found in various concentrations during phytochemical *** both zones,the ethanol leaves extract of SRB taken from Mauritius had a greater content of phytochemicals and a higher yield than other extracts due to the soil *** Mauritius sample had greater total flavonoid levels as well as more quercetin(0.92±0.011)than the other *** that,ethanol extract inhibited enzymes(alpha amylase,alpha glucosidases)more than aqueous extract,and this inhibition was dose *** them,the Mauritius ethanol sample showed higher anti-diabetic efficacy than the Indian sample,but this difference was not ***,SRB ethanol leaves extracts outperformed other leaves extracts in terms of yield,phytoconstituents,and total flavo***,both SRB samples had high querce

Nowadays,an unprecedented number of users interact through social media platforms and generate a massive amount of content due to the explosion of online ***,because user-generated content is unregulated,it may contain offensive content such as fake news,insults,and harassment *** identification of fake news and rumors and their dissemination on social media has become a critical *** have adverse effects on users,businesses,enterprises,and even political regimes and *** of the art has tackled the English language for news and used feature-based *** paper proposes a model architecture to detect fake news in the Arabic language by using only textual *** learning and deep learning algorithms were *** deep learning models are used depending on conventional neural nets(CNN),long short-term memory(LSTM),bidirectional LSTM(BiLSTM),CNN+LSTM,and CNN+*** datasets were used in the experiments,each containing the textual content of Arabic news articles;one of them is reallife *** results indicate that the BiLSTM model outperforms the other models regarding accuracy rate when both simple data split and recursive training modes are used in the training process.

Merging bound states in the continuum in an open acoustic resonator

Bound states in the continuum （BICs） are perfectly localized resonances despite embedding in the continuum ***,an isolated BIC is very sensitive to the structure ***,we report merging acoustic BICs in a single open resonator,robust against the structure *** find that both symmetry-protected BIC and friedrich-Wintgen BIC are sustained in a single coupled waveguide-resonator *** varying the height and length of the resonator,these two BICs move toward each other and merge into a single one at a critical *** to an individual BIC,the merged BIC is robust against fabrication error because its Q-factor is proportional to ΔL-4,whereΔL embodies the structure *** essence of this extraordinary phenomenon is perfectly explained by the two-and three-level approximations of the effective nonHermitian ***,we present direct experimental demonstrations of the moving and merging of BICs in a coupled 3D waveguide-resonator,which are evidenced by the vanishing of the linewidth of fano resonance in the transmission *** results may find exciting applications in designing high-quality acoustic sources,sensors and filters.

A Retrospective Review: Vaginal versus Abdominal Hysterectomy for Benign Gynecological Diseases in a Tertiary Canter

The aims are to review respectively 229 cases of hysterectomy and to find the factor affecting the decision of vaginal hysterectomy. Data collected from medical charts include age, nationality, parity, menopause, history of Dilation and curettage. The following data were obtained: the clinical presentation and the indication for hysterectomy. Postoperative complication includes the estimated blood loss, the number of days in hospital and ICU admission recorded. The route of hysterectomy found that 187 (82%) were abdominal and only 42 (18%) were vaginal. factors significantly associated with the choice of vaginal approach: age, parity, smaller uterine size and prolapse. factors affecting the decision of vaginal hysterectomy for treatment of benign diseases are identified as follows: if the age is more than 35 years or if the women already reach menopause, the presenting symptoms are not vaginal bleeding but prolapsed uterus and uterine size is less than 12 weeks.

金黄色葡萄球菌肠毒素(SEs)是金黄色葡萄球菌在生长的对数期或从指数期向稳定期过渡期间合成的有效胃肠外毒素。金黄色葡萄球菌可产生多种胃肠毒素,包括金黄色葡萄球菌肠毒素A、B、C、D、E、f、G、H、I、J、K、L、M、N、O、P等多种肠毒素。金黄色葡萄球菌肠毒素P(SEP)是导致食物中毒的主要因素之一。食物尤其是肉制品和乳制品可因处理不当或在高温下储存而被金黄色葡萄球菌污染。SEP中毒症状发病迅速,病人恶心和剧烈呕吐,伴有或不伴有腹泻。鉴于SEP检测在食品安全方面的重要性,本研究亚克隆了SEP基因至大肠杆菌表达载体、表达、纯化、免疫产蛋鸡并制备了鸡卵黄抗体。以期建立基于免疫学方法检测SEP的相关试剂。本论文的主要研究成果如下:(1)以pUC18-SEP为模板DNA,以Primer f(含EcoRI位点)和Primer R(含SalI位点)为引物扩增了SEP基因。扩增产物经EcoRI和SalI酶切、琼脂糖凝胶电泳分离、回收后与相应限制性内切酶处理的pET28a载体连接,获得pET28a-SEP重组载体。经核苷酸序列分析,亚克隆的SEP基因序列与模板和NCBI数据库中的SEP序列一致。(2)含重组质粒pET28a-SEP的大肠杆菌(*** Rossita)活化后在37℃、220rpm下培养至OD≥0.6,之后在16℃、220rpm下以1mmol/L IPTG诱导过夜。离心收集菌体,超声破碎后进行SDS-PAGE分析。结果表明,SEP蛋白主要以可溶性蛋白形式存在于菌体破碎后的上清中,沉淀中仅有少量SEP蛋白。(3)以商品化SEP抗体检测上述大肠杆菌诱导表达后的蛋白,发现诱导表达量最大的蛋白带(32.6k Da)呈阳性。其与含有标签肽(6x His-Thrombin-T7 Tag)的SEP蛋白的理论分子量(29.77k Da)基本一致。(4)上述细胞裂解液上清以Ni-NTA亲和层析法进行了纯化。纯化后的样品进行SDS-PAGE分析,显示分子量在32.6k Da的蛋白被纯化保留。(5)根据SDS-PAGE结果,Ni-NTA纯化的重组SEP蛋白中仍然存在一些微量的杂蛋白。据此,我们以Sephadex G-100进行了进一步纯化,随后以50%的饱和硫酸铵进行了选择性沉淀,进一步提高了重组蛋白SEP的纯度。(6)经Ni-NTA亲和层析纯化后,从SDS-PAGE凝胶中切下分子量为32.6k Da蛋白的条带做串联质谱鉴定。串联质谱共测得8条肽段的氨基酸残基序列,均与重组SEP蛋白的序列一致。(7)每毫克纯化的重组SEP蛋白与完全弗氏佐剂混合后免疫产蛋鸡三次,每次间隔15天。Dot Blotting分析初步表明,在第二次注射抗原后,IgY活性最高。

Background:Anaemia and malaria are common and life-threatening diseases among preschool-aged children in many tropical and subtropical areas,and Malawi is no ***,this study aimed to examine the association of referral clinical malaria with anemia(hemoglobin[Hb]from the 2015-2016 Malawi Micronutrient Survey(MNS),multivariate logistic regression models were construaed using surveylogistic to account for the complex survey *** samples of 1051 children aged 6-59 months were evaluated for malaria(using rapid diagnostic test[RDT]-SD BIOLINE Malaria Ag P.f/Pan test histidine-rich protein(HRP-Ⅱ)^™),Hb(using HemoCue 301),a-1-acid glycoprotein(AGP),and serum ferritin biomarkers(using simple sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique,ELISA)and inherited blood disorders from dry blood samples(DBS)using polymerize chain reaaion(PCR).Diagnosis of clinical malaria was made on the basis of fever and a positive rapid diagnostic test(RDT).Results:Of the 1051 PSC analysed,29%had anaemia while 24.4%had a referral to the hospital due to *** adjustments for known confounders,PSC with a history of referral clinical malaria had increased odds of being anaemic(adjusted odds ratio[aOR]=4.63,95%confidence interval[Cf]:2.90-7.40),Pfound that clinical malaria increased the risk of anaemia in PSC Thus,elimination of malariacausing parasites from the PSCs blood should be rapid and complete in order to prevent the progression of uncomplicated malaria to a chronic infection that can lead to the development of malaria-related anaemia.

Complement-dependent neuroinflammation in spinal cord injury:from pathology to therapeutic implications

Spinal cord injury remains a major cause of disability in young adults,and beyond acute decompression and rehabilitation,there are no pharmacological treatments to limit the progression of injury and optimize recovery in this *** the thorough investigation of the complement system in triggering and propagating cerebral neuroinflammation,a similar role for complement in spinal neuroinflammation is a focus of ongoing *** this work,we survey the current literature investigating the role of complement in spinal cord injury including the sources of complement proteins,triggers of complement activation,and role of effector functions in the *** study relevant data demonstrating the different triggers of complement activation after spinal cord injury including direct binding to cellular debris,and or activation via antibody binding to damage-associated molecular *** effector functions of complement have been implicated in spinal cord injury,and we critically evaluate recent studies on the dual role of complement anaphylatoxins in spinal cord injury while emphasizing the lack of pathophysiological understanding of the role of opsonins in spinal cord *** this pathophysiological review,we systematically review the different translational approaches used in preclinical models of spinal cord injury and discuss the challenges for future translation into human *** review emphasizes the need for future studies to dissect the roles of different complement pathways in the pathology of spinal cord injury,to evaluate the phases of involvement of opsonins and anaphylatoxins,and to study the role of complement in white matter degeneration and regeneration using translational strategies to supplement genetic models.
