Herein,we report a facile solution process for preparing multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT)bucky paper for solar-driven interfacial water *** process involves vacuum filtrating a dispersion of MWCNTs that was modified by polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)under c-ray irradiation on a cellulose acetate microporous membrane,followed by borate *** transform infrared spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy,and thermogravimetry confirmed the success of PVA grafting onto MWCNTs and borate crosslinking between modified MWCNT *** as-prepared crosslinked MWCNT bucky papers(BBP membranes)were used as a solar absorber,by placing them on a paper-wrapped floating platform,for interfacial water evaporation under simulated solar *** BBP membranes showed good water tolerance and mechanical stability,with an evaporation rate of 0.79 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)and an evaporation efficiency of 56%under 1 sun illumination in deionized ***,the BBP membranes achieved an evaporation rate of 0.76 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)in both NaCl solution(3.5 wt%)and sulfuric acid solution(1 mol L-1),demonstrating their impressive applicability for water reclamation from brine and acidic *** evaporation rate of 0.70 kg m-2 h-1(very close to that from deionized water)was obtained from the solar evaporation of saturated NaCl solution,and the BBP membrane exhibited unexpected stability without the inference of salt accumulation on the membrane surface during long-term continuous solar evaporation.

Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries have been regarded as promising energy-storage systems,due to their high theoretical capacity and energy ***,the carbonaceous sulfur hosts suffer from weak binding force between the hosts and polysulfides,restricting the cyclic stability of sulfur ***,the presence of binder and conductive agent in the traditional electrode reduces its energy *** study demonstrates that titanium nitride(TiN)nanorod array on carbon cloth(CC)is employed as a flexible host for highly stable Li-S batteries via solvothermal synthesis-nitridation *** the one hand,the flexible integrated network composed of three-dimensional TiN nanorod array and CC significantly improves the conductivity,increases the electron transport and electrolyte penetration of *** the other hand,the 3D structure of TiN/CC and the enhanced polarity of TiN effectively strengthen the physical and chemical double adsorption for *** a result,the combination of TiN nanorod array and CC synergistic ally promotes sulfur utilization and electrochemical performances of S@TiN/CC cathode.A discharge capacity of1015.2 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.5C after 250 cycles and 604.1mAh·g^(-1)at 3C after 250 cycles is *** a larger current density of 5C,the resulting S@TiN/CC cathode maintains a high discharge capacity of 666.6 mAh·g^(-1)and the Coulombic efficiency of about 100%.

Background Telehealth interventions （THI） were associated with lower levels of cardiovascular risk factors in adults, whereas the effect of THI on cardiovascular disease （CVD） still remains controversial. A meta-analysis was conducted to summarize the evidence from randomized controlled trials （RCT） which investigated potential impact of THI on the incidence of CVD in patients with or without prior CVD. Methods PubMed, EmBase, and the Cochrane Library were searched to identify RCTs to fit our analysis through December 2016. Relative risk （RR） with its 95% confidence interval （CI） was used to measure the effect of THI using a random-effect model. Sensitivity analysis, subgroup analysis, heterogeneity tests, and tests for publication bias were also conducted. Results Eight RCTs were included and with a total of 1635 individuals. The summarized results indicated that participants who received THI showed a significant reduction of the CVD incidence as compared with usual care （RR： 0.59; 95% CI： 0.47-0.74; P 〈 0.001）. Furthermore, the effect of THI was greater in patients with history ofCVD （RR： 0.55; 95% CI： 0.44-0.70; P 〈 0.001） than in patients without history ofCVD （RR： 0.99; 95% CI： 0.51-1.94; P = 0.977）. Sensitivity analysis suggested that the intervention effect persisted and the conclusion was not changed. Subgroup analysis indi- cated mean age, study quality might play an important role on the risk of CVD. Conclusions The findings of this study indicated THI could reduce the recurrence of CVD. Further large-scale trials are needed to verify the effect of THI on CVD in healthy individuals.

Tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) have improved the overall survival of patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs), but their side effects can impact dose intensity and, consequently, the clinical benefit. To date, no guideline or consensus has been published on the TKI-associated adverse reactions. Therefore, the Chinese Society of Surgeons for Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association organized an expert panel discussion involving representatives from gastrointestinal surgery, medical oncology, cardiology, dermatology, nephrology, endocrinology, and ophthalmology to consider the systemic clinical symptoms, molecular and cellular mechanisms, and treatment recommendations of GISTs. Here, we present the resultant evidence-and experience-based consensus to guide the management of TKI-associated side events in clinical practice.

AIM: To observe the effect of response-guided add-on therapy with adefovir(ADV) and lamivudine(LAM) in cirrhotic hepatitis B(CHB) ***: A total of 100 patients with CHB and cirrhosis were divided into three arms according to hepatitis B virus(HBV) DNA level after 24 wk LAM monotherapy: Arm A(complete response, HBV DNA ≤ 60 IU/m L, n = 49), Arm B(partial response, HBV DNA: 60-2000 IU/m L, n = 31) and Arm C(inadequate response, HBV DNA > 2000 IU/m L, n = 20). ADV was added to LAM at week 48 in Arms A and B, but at week 24 in Arm C. Virological response, YMDD mutations, biochemical response, and liver function were ***: Comparison of the three arms demonstrated that early complete virologic response at week 24was associated with maintained viral suppression(undetectable rate of HBV DNA at week 144 was 95.96%, 66.67% and 35.29%, respectively, P = 0.000) and reduced YMDD mutations(mutation rate at week 144 was 0%, 3.23% and 15%, respectively, P = 0.015) after 144 wk treatment. For patients who failed to achieve complete virological response at week 24, switching to combination therapy further decreased HBV DNA level by 1 log10 IU/m L. All three arms obtained biochemical benefits including decline of alanine aminotransferase and elevation of albumin. In patients who developed HBV DNA breakthrough for YMDD mutations, ADV add-on therapy did not induce further multiple drug resistance to LAM or ***: Optimized response-guided add-on therapy of ADV and LAM maintains long-term suppression of HBV DNA and improves liver function in CHB patients with compensated liver cirrhosis.

提出了一种基于特征选择的医学图像检索方法。考虑到医学图像的多类别特性,将分类与检索结合,采用AdaBoost方法对样本进行多次抽样,并将分类精度作为判据对特征进行选择,选取少量有利于分类的特征,同时将单特征弱分类器增强为强分类器。在检索阶段,本方法在选择后的特征子集以及类别子空间中进行检索。实验结果表明,与传统方法相比,本方法能达到较高的查准率,计算量也明显降低。

AIM： To study whether severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus （SARS-CoV） could be excreted from digestive system.METHODS： Cell culture and semi-nested RT-PCR were used to detect SARS-CoV and its RNA from 21 stool and urine samples, and a kind of electropositive filter media particles was used to concentrate the virus in 10 sewage samples from two hospitals receiving SAILS patients in Beijing in China. RESULTS： It was demonstrated that there was no live SARS-CoV in all samples collected, but the RNA of SARS-CoV could be detected in seven stool samples from SARS patients with any one of the symptoms of fever, malaise, cough, or dyspnea, in 10 sewage samples before disinfection and 3 samples after disinfection from the two hospitals. The RNA could not be detected in urine and stool samples from patients recovered from SARS.CONCLUSION： Nucleic acid of SARS-CoV can be excreted through the stool of patients into sewage system, and the possibility of SARS-CoV transmitting through digestive system cannot be excluded.
