The effects of rare earth ions on bone resorbing function of osteoclasts were studied by culturing Japanese white rabbit osteoclasts on bone slices. In order to evaluate the activity of osteoclasts, the number and surface areas of lacunae were measured by photomicrography and image analysis, and the calcium concentration in the supernatant was measured by the atomic absorption spectrometry. The lacunae morphology was observed under a scanning electron microscope. The results indicated that La3+, Sm3+ and Er3+ at the concentration of 1.00?0-5, 1.00?0-6 and 1.00?10-7mol/L and Nd3+, Gd3+ and Dy3+ at the concentration of 1.00?10-5 and 1.00?0-6 mol/L inhibited osteoclastic activity as indicated by the dose-dependent reduction in the numbers and surface areas of the lacunae (P0.05). It is suggested that the effects of rare earth ions on osteoclastic bone resorption are bidirectional, depending on concentrations and species.

In presence of input saturation,a novel integrated guidance and control(IGC)law based on the backstepping technique is proposed for missiles attacking manoeuvring target in this paper.A modified saturation function and an auxiliary system are proposed to deal with the input *** state of the auxiliary system is used in the IGC law design process and stability *** the uncertainties caused by target manoeuvres,model errors and variation of the aerodynamic parameters,disturbance observers which converge in finite time are introduced to estimate and compensate *** on the Lyapunov theory,the detailed stability analysis of the closedloop system is *** non-linear numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed IGC law.

略论绝对真空计量标准

A Comparison study of distributions of molecular flow field in spherical and pillar systems

The distribttions of the molecular flow field in spherical and pillar system are simulated by Monte Carlo method in this paper. It is shown that as the spherical container is replaced by a pillar container in calibration or measurement, the effective measurement area for smaller systematic error is around the equator of the pillar container within 1/5 of the pillar height. By comparing and analyzing the measurement system os the dynamic flow method it is firmly believed that the systematic error using foreflow measurement method is smaller than the one using forepressure measurement method. The revision coefficients P=Q/C2, P=C1P1/（C1+C2） for spherical and pillar measurement system are obtained separately. The results in this paper provide reliable basis for the design and application of various vacuum system.
