The drug L-DOPA has been widely used against Parkinson's disease and is extracted from *** to the increasing demand of this drug,new plant sources need to be discovered in addition to the existing *** paper embodies results on Mucuna monosperma,which can be a promising candidate for *** seed powder of this plant contains 5.48%of(dry weight)the drug and when the seeds were soaked in distilled water,content was increased to 6.58%.Different elicitors when added,enhanced the drug level in seed up to 11.8%.The possible rationale behind this increase was confirmed by increase in tyrosinase activity in the *** of L-DOPA was confirmed using various analytical techniques as HPLC,HPTLC and *** work demonstrates a potential candidate plant as a source for L-DOPA when a novel method was adopted as described here.

Video capsule endoscopy (CE) since its introduction 13 years back, has revolutionized our approach to small intestinal diseases. Obscure gastrointestinal bleed (OGIB) continues to be the most important indication for CE with a high sensitivity, specificity as well as positive and negative predictive values. It is best performed during ongoing bleed or immediately thereafter. Overt OGIB has a higher diagnostic yield than occult OGIB. However, even in iron deficiency anemia, CE is emerging as important investigation after initial negative work up. In suspected Crohn’s disease (CD), CE has been shown superior to traditional imaging and endoscopic technique and should be considered after a negative ileocolonoscopy. Although CE has also been used for evaluating established CD, a high capsule retention rate precludes its use ahead of cross-sectional imaging. Celiac disease, particularly where gastro-duodenoscopy cannot be performed or is normal, can also be investigated by CE. Small bowel tumor, hereditary polyposis syndrome, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs induced intestinal damage are other indications for CE. Capsule retention is the only significant adverse outcome of CE and occurs mostly in presence of intestinal obstruction. This can be prevented by use of Patency capsule prior to CE examination. Presence of cardiac pacemaker and intracardiac devices continue to be relative contraindications for CE, though data do not suggest interference of CE with these devices. Major limitations of CE today include failure to control its movement from outside, inability of CE to acquire tissue for diagnosis, and lack of therapeutic help. With ongoing interesting and exciting developments taking place in these areas, these issues would be solved in all probability in near future. CE has the potential to become one of the most important tools in diagnostic and possibly in the therapeutic field of gastrointestinal disorder.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)are two disease conditions for which obesity is a risk factor.^(1)Due to the close relationship between the three pathologies,researchers frequently use the same mouse models to identify the underlying processes of obesity,NAFLD,and *** instance,leptin(Lep)-null(ob/ob)and leptin receptor(Lepr)-deficient(db/db)mice spontaneously develop NAFLD and show different phenotypes of extreme obesity and diabetes,respectively.

Effort estimation plays a crucial role in software development projects,aiding in resource allocation,project planning,and risk *** estimation techniques often struggle to provide accurate estimates due to the complex nature of software *** recent years,machine learning approaches have shown promise in improving the accuracy of effort estimation *** study proposes a hybrid model that combines Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)and Random Forest(RF)algorithms to enhance software effort *** proposed hybrid model takes advantage of the strengths of both LSTM and RF *** evaluate the performance of the hybrid model,an extensive set of software development projects is used as the experimental *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed hybrid model outperforms traditional estimation techniques in terms of accuracy and *** integration of LSTM and RF enables the model to efficiently capture temporal dependencies and non-linear interactions in the software development *** hybrid model enhances estimation accuracy,enabling project managers and stakeholders to make more precise predictions of effort needed for upcoming software projects.

Kesterite Cu_(2)ZnSn(S,Se)_4(CZTSSe)is considered one or the most promising thin-film photovoltaic(PV)technologies due to its bandgap tunability(1.0~1.5 eV)and high absorption coefficient(>10^(4)cm^(-1)).However,the highest power conversion efficiency(PCE)of CZTSSe has so far only reached up to 12.6%,much lower than the theoretical limit defined by the Shockley-Queisser(SQ)*** large opencircuit voltage(V_(oc))deficit and inferior fill factor(FF)are prevalent in kesterite PV and hamper the improvement in *** this review,unfavourable energy band alignment at the CZTSSe/buffer junction,as well as defective interface are identified as two obstacles at the p-n *** issues contribute to the interface induced recombination,thus significantly reducing ***,we review recent advances in strategies to improve the efficiency by altering the characteristics of the interface,covering alternative buffer layers,heterojunction treatments and passivation ***,future research directions of heterojunction engineering are proposed as schemes towards the ideal interface in kesterite solar cells.

Grape diseases are major factors causing severe diminution in its fruit *** climatic conditions are one of the principal dangers for grape disease ***,PowderyMildew,Anthracnose,Stem borer,Black Rot,Leaf Blight are widespread grape leaf vermin and diseases,which cause stern monetary losses to the grape *** ready to quantify the climate conditions in real-time for disease onset are hence crucial to performtimely diagnosis and precise detection of grape leaf *** will ensure the healthy growth of grape plants,further controlling the spread of *** paper discusses the requirements for building a consistent grape disease detection framework that would encourage headways in *** primary aim of this work is to adapt an Internet of Things(IoT)based approach to predict the occurrence of Downey and Powdery Mildew grape diseases at an early *** sensor values received are transmitted to the Central Server with the help of the IoT device *** the server side,an analysis is made based on weather *** notification to the farmer is sent ifweather properties are conducive for disease *** exclusivity of the systemlies in using a rain gauge sensor along with the temperature sensor to predict the occurrence of grape *** systemrealizes an overall accuracy of 94.4%for Downey Mildew and 96%for *** results suggest the projected model can proficiently recognize Downey and Powdery Mildew grape diseases.

Novel degradation products of argatroban: Isolation, synthesis and extensive characterization using NMR and LC-PDA-MS/Q-TOF

Forced degradation study of argatroban under conditions of hydrolysis(neutral, acidic and alkaline), oxidation,photolysis and thermal stress, as suggested in the ICH Q1 A(R2), was accomplished. The drug showed significant degradation under hydrolysis(acidic, alkaline) and oxidation(peroxide stress) conditions. The drug remained stable under thermal and photolytic stress conditions. In total, seven novel degradation products(DP-1 to DP-7) were found under diverse conditions, which were not reported earlier. The chemical structures of these degradation products were characterized by ~1H NMR,^(13)C NMR, 2 D NMR, Q-TOF-MSnand IR spectral analysis and the proposed degradation products structures were further confirmed by the individual synthesis.

Simultaneous quantification of Lamivudine and Zidovudine in tablets by HPTLC method was developed and *** chromatograms were developed using a mobile phase of toluene:ethyl acetate:methanol (4:4:2,v/v/v) on pre-coated plate of silica gel GF aluminum TLC plate and quantified by densitometric absorbance mode at 276 *** R f values were 0.4170.03 and 0.6070.04 for Lamivudine and Zidovudine,*** linearity of the method was found to be within the concentration range of 50 250 ng/spot for Lamivudine and for Zidovudine,it was 100 500 ng/*** lower limits of detection and quantification were 2.23 ng/spot and 7.90 ng/spot for Lamivudine and 2.90 ng/spot and 8.85 ng/spot for *** method was also validated for precision,specificity and *** developed method was used to analyze fixed-dose tablets (Duovir,Cipla Ltd) samples of Lamivudine and Zidovudine.
