The bulk properties of materials in an extreme environment such as high temperature and high pressure can be understood by studying anharmonic effects due to the vibration of lattice ions and thermally excited *** this spirit,in the present paper,anharmonic effects are studied by using the recently proposed mean-field potential（MFp） approach and Mermin functional which arise due to the vibration of lattice ions and thermally excited electrons,*** MFp experienced by a wanderer atom in the presence of surrounding atoms is constructed in terms of cold energy using the local form of the *** have calculated the temperature variation of several thermophysical properties in an extreme environment up to melting *** results of our calculations are in excellent agreement with the experimental findings as well as the theoretical results obtained by using first principle *** conclude that presently used conjunction scheme（MFp＋pseudo potential） is simple computationally,transparent physically,and accurate in the sense that the results generated are comparable and sometimes better than the results obtained by first principle *** pseudopotential used is transferable to extreme environment without adjusting its parameters.

Eu（ Ⅲ ） can be utilized as an indirect electrochemical probe to investigate the interaction of bio-molecules such as DOpA and Dopamine with Ca（ Ⅱ ） in vitro. The interaction of DOpA and Dopamine with Eu（ Ⅲ ）-Eu（ Ⅱ ） redox pair was investigated by electrochemical techniques. Both the neurotransmitters are structurally related and undergo interaction with Eu （Ⅲ ）. Eu （ Ⅲ ） coordinates with DOpA and Dopamine through five-member chelate tings via carboxylic oxygen and amino nitrogen. The electrode kinetic parameters viz, transfer coefficient （αna）, diffusion coefficient （D）, forward heterogeneous rate constant （ k^0 fh） were evaluated for Eu（ Ⅲ ）-DOpA/Eu（ Ⅲ ）-Dopamine. The results obtained were used to investigate the nature of interaction of Eu （Ⅲ） with muhi-donor biomolecules. The possible mechanism was also proposed.

Optimization of enzymatic hydrolysis of pigeon pea for cooking quality of dhal

Cooking quality of dehusked splits is influenced by the dehulling method,in particular,by the pre-milling *** effects of four enzymatic hydrolysis parameters,i.e.,enzyme concentration(20-60 mg/100 g dry matter),incubation time(3-15 h),incubation temperature(40-60℃)and tempering water pH(4.0-6.0)on cooking time of pigeon pea dhal were optimized using response surface *** kinds of enzymes,i.e.,xylanase,pectinase,and cellulas were used in combination for enzymatic pre-treatment.A quadratic model satisfactorily described the dehulling efficiency with high value for the coefficient of determination R^(2)(0.9062).It predicted a minimum cooking time of 21.91 min at enzyme concentration of 37.8 mg/100 g dry matter,incubation time 8.69 min,incubation temperature 48.5℃ and pH 5.49 of tempering *** time at optimum condition was observed to be 21.50 min and the predicted values of cooking time showed 2.19% deviation from the experimental *** of the study revealed that cooking time of enzyme treated dhal could be decreased by 19.77% compared to the oil treated dhal.

In total 36 superior clones of Dalbergia sissoo Roxb., screened from 300 selections conducted in natural and growing range of India and Nepal, were multiplied using single nodal cuttings and estab- lished to evaluate genotypexenvironmental interactions for adaptability and stability at the age of 30 months in three geographical locations in the state of punjab, India. Clone 124 had maximum adaptability and stability （bi = 1.04） to perform exceedingly well over the locations. Clones 36 and 1 were stable with mean regression coefficient of 0.84 and 1.22, respectively. Nonetheless, clone 4 1 performed exceedingly well for all the characters to attain maximum population mean, and the perform- ance varied substantially across the locations. Therefore, clone 41 was considered as productive but non-adaptive clone. Though some of the clones were sensitive to sites, 14 clones for height, 16 for collar diameter, 12 for DBH and 7 for volume were relatively un-sensitive with higher regression coefficient. Nonetheless, clone 124 was the most Stable with average bi value of 1.04 and productive, which could play an important role in future breeding and commercial deployment of stable and produc- tive planting stock of Dalbergia sissoo.

This is the first report on the thermoelectric properties of a catalyst-free polyol method used to prepare stoichiometric Bi2-xCuxS3 samples, x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, via hot pressing. various systematic approaches to arrive at in their stoichiometric compositions are explored precisely with introduction of excess precursor of S. X-ray diffraction data analysis using Rietveld refinement confirms a polyhedral orthorhombic crystal structure with a space group pnma, in contrast to pbnm reported earlier. Raman data further substantiates this. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirms the valence states of the constituent elements （Bi^3＋, Cu^2＋, and S^2-） and energy dispersive X-ray analysis corroborates their compositions. The particle sizes of the pure Bi2S3 nanoparticles were 20, 35, and 82 nm as determined from the Scherrer formula, atomic force microscopy, and dynamic light scattering, respectively. Their transmission electron microscopy image shows rod-like nanostructures elongated in the 〈010〉 direction with an average diameter of 23 nm and a length of several hundreds of nanometers. A 34% improvement in the thermoelectric figure of merit is observed for Bi.6Cu0.4S3 as compared to pure Bi2S3 at 300 K.

Objective:To evaluate whether there would be a difference in outcome when the smaller ultra-mini 12 Fr sheath was used instead of the mini 16 Fr sheath for percutaneous nephrolithotomy(pCNL)in paediatric patients for stones less than 25 ***:This was a prospective cohort study of patients who underwent pCNL in our hospital in a 2-year period from July 2016 to June 2018 by a single *** was performed in a prone position and tract was dilated to the respective size using single step *** was used to fragment the ***-free outcome was defined as absence of stone fragment at 3 months on kidney,ureter,and bladder ***:There were 40 patients in each *** stone size was comparable between the two groups(14.5 mm vs.15.0 mm).The procedure was completed faster in the 16 Fr group compared to 12 Fr group(24.5 min vs.34.6 min).Stone clearance was highly successful in both groups(97.5%vs.95.0%).There was no difference in complications between the two *** decrease in hemoglobin was minimal in both groups(0.2 g/dL vs.0.3 g/dL).Conclusion:We found that the success rates were similar in both mini pCNL and the smaller ultra-mini pCNL *** significant difference in bleeding was noted in our pilot study,however,operative time was longer in the ultra-mini group as compared to the mini sheath group.

The Ohmically heated circular limiter tokamak ADITYA （R0 = 75 cm, a = 25 cm） has been upgraded to a tokamak named the ADITYA Upgrade （ADITYA-U） with an open divertor configuration with divertor plates. The main goal of ADITYA-U is to carry out dedicated experiments relevant for bigger fusion machines including ITER, such as the generation and control of runaway electrons, disruption prediction, and mitigation studies, along with an improvement in confinement with shaped plasma. The ADITYA tokamak was dismantled and the assembly of ADITYA-U was completed in March 2016. Integration of subsystems like data acquisition and remote operation along with plasma production and preliminary plasma characterization of ADITYA-U plasmas are presented in this paper.

Structural and mass transport properties of liquid ytterbium in the temperature range 1123 K–1473 K

We have studied the structural and atomic transport properties of liquid f-shell Yb in the temperature range 1123 K–1473 K. pair interactions between atoms are derived using a local pseudopotential. The potential parameters are fitted to the phonon dispersion curve at room temperature. The local pseudopotential used in the present study is computationally more efficient with only three parameters, and it is found to be transferable to the liquid phase without changing the *** the various computed properties agree with reported theoretical and experimental findings, the adopted fitting scheme is justified. As a significant outcome of the study, we find that(i) the melting in Yb is governed by the Lindemann's law,(ii)the mass transport mechanism obeys the Arrhenius law,(iii) the role of the three-particle correlation function in deriving the velocity autocorrelation function is small,(iv) the mean-square atomic displacement is more sensitive to the choice of interaction potential than the other bulk properties, and(v) liquid Yb does not show liquid–liquid phase transition within the studied temperature range. Further, due to the good description of the structural and mass transport properties, we propose that Yb remains divalent at reduced density.
