Coordination polymerization of renewable β-ocimene has been investigated using asymmetric diiminophosphinate lutetium complex1, β-diketiminate yttrium complex 2, bis(phosphino)carbazolide yttrium complex 3, half-sandwich benzyl fluorenyl scandium complex 4 and pyridyl-methylene-fluorenyl rare-metal complexes 5a–5c. Complexes 1, 4 and 5a–5c show trans-1,2-regioselectivities and high activities, of which 5c exhibits excellent isoselectivity(mmmm>99%). Conversely, complexes 2 and 3 promote β-ocimene polymerization to produce isotactic cis-1,4-polyocimenes(cis-1,4>99%, mm>95%). Diblock copolymers cis-1,4-PIP-block-cis-1,4-POc and cis-1,4-PBD-block-cis-1,4-POc are obtained in one-pot reactions of β-ocimene with isoprene and butadiene using complex 3. Epoxidation and hydroxylation of polyocimene afford functionalized polyolefins with enhanced T_(g)(from-20 ℃ to 79 ℃ and 74 ℃) and hydrophilicity.

The need for high-performance and cost-effective gas sensors in industrial and domestic settings has led to ad-vancements in gas sensors based on metal-organic frameworks(MOFs).However,challenges remain in the design and synthesis of MOFs with customized structure and affinity toward targeted gases and their integration onto miniaturized electronic *** deliberate design of MOFs with desired characteristics is hindered by limited understanding of the interactions between MOFs and ***,there is a lack of customization of relevant MOF-based sensors with salient sensing performance and their integration into sensor arrays to align with different application *** combination of machine learning or artificial intelligence(AI)with gas sensors also represents a promising avenue for future ***,we provide a mini-review of recent ac-complishments in MOF-based gas sensors,covering materials design and device *** challenges of miniaturization and building smart sensing systems with anomaly detection,self-calibration,and lifetime pre-diction are also discussed.

Non-Targeted Metabolomics Reveals the Metabolic Alterations in Response to Artificial Selective Breeding in the Fast-Growing Strains of Pacific Oyster

Pacific oyster(Crassostrea gigas)is one of the most important mollusks cultured all around the *** breeding programs of Pacific oysters in China is initiated since 2006 and developed the genetically improved strain with fast-growing ***,little is known about the metabolic signatures of the fast-growing *** the present study,the non-targeted metabolomics was performed to analyze the metabolic signatures of adductor muscle tissue in one-year old Pacific oysters from fast-growing strain and the wild population.A total of 7767 and 10174 valid peaks were extracted and quantified in ESI^(+)and ESI^(−)modes,resulting in 399 and 381 annotated metabolites,*** and OPLS-DA revealed that considerable separation among samples from fastgrowing strain and wild population,suggesting the differences in metabolic ***,81 significantly different metabolites(SDMs)were identified in the comparisons between fast-growing strain and wild population,based on the strict *** was found that there were highly correlation and conserved coordination among these *** enrichment analysis indicated that the SDMs were tightly related to pantothenate and CoA biosynthesis,steroid hormone biosynthesis,riboflavin metabolism,and arginine and proline *** them,the CoA biosynthesis and metabolism,affected by pantetheine and pantothenic acid,might be important for the growth of Pacific oysters under artificial selective *** study provides the comprehensive views of metabolic signatures in response to artificially selective breeding,and is helpful to better understand the molecular mechanism of fastgrowing traits in Pacific oysters.

Hydration lubrication modulated by water structure at TiO2–aqueous interfaces

The nature of solid-liquid interfaces is of great significance in *** advances have been made in lubrication based on hydration ***,a detailed molecular-level understanding is still ***,we investigated water molecule behaviors at the TiO2-aqueous interfaces by the sum-frequency generation vibrational spectroscopy(SFG-VS)and atomic force microscope(AFM)to elucidate the fundamental role of solid-liquid interfaces in *** contributions of water structures and hydration effects were revealed,where water structures played the dominant role in lubrication for TiO2 surfaces of varying hydrophilicity,while hydration effects dominated with the increasing of ion *** lubrication is observed on the initial TiO2 surfaces with strongly H-bonded water molecules compared to the hydrophilic TiO2 surfaces with more disordered *** stable ordered water arrangement with strong hydrogen bonds and the shear plane occurring between the ordered water layer and subsequent water layer may play a significant role in achieving lower *** adsorbed hydrated molecules with the increasing ionic concentration perturb ordered water but lead to the enhancement of hydration effects,which is the main reason for the improved lubrication for both *** work provides more insights into the detailed molecular-level understanding of the mechanism of hydration lubrication.

High-energy-density Li-S batteries are subjected to serious sulfur deactivation and short cycle lifetime caused by undesirable polysulfide shuttle effect and frantic lithium dendrite *** this work,a controllable cage-confinement strategy to fabricate molybdenum carbide(MoC)nanoclusters as a high-efficient sulfiphilic and lithiophilic regulator to mitigate the formidable issues of Li-S batteries is *** sub-2 nm MoC nanoclusters not only guarantee robust chemisorption and fast electrocatalytic conversion of polysulfides to enhance the sulfur electrochemistry,but also homogenize Li^(+) flux to suppress the lithium dendrite *** a consequence,the MoC-modified separator endows the batteries with boosted reaction kinetics,promoted sulfur utilization,and improved cycling stability.A reversible capacity of 701 mAh·g^(−1) at a high rate of 5.0C and a small decay rate of 0.076%per cycle at 1.0C over 600 cycles are *** study offers a rational route for design and synthesis of bifunctional nanoclusers with both sulfiphilicity and lithiophilicity for high-performance Li-S batteries.

Resilience provides mediating effect of resilience between fear of progression and sleep quality in patients with hematological malignancies

BACKGROUND Hematological tumors are common malignant tumors,with high morbidity and mortality *** patients with hematological malignancies develop sleep disorders that seriously affect their life and health because of acute onset of disease,rapid progression,high recurrence rates,complex treatment methods,and treatment *** To explore the mediating effect of resilience on fear of disease progression and sleep quality in patients with hematological *** A cross-sectional analysis of 100 patients with hematological malignancies,treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University between August 2022 and August 2023,was *** were assessed using a general data survey,a simplified scale for the fear of progression(FoP)of disease,a resilience scale,and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality *** analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between various patient characteristics and FoP,resilience,and sleep ***’s correlation analysis was used to examine the correlations between mental resilience,FoP,and sleep *** The total FoP score mean value in patients with hematological malignancies was 38.09±5.16;the total resilience score mean value was 40.73±7.04;and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score mean value was 10.72±***,resilience,and sleep quality of the patients were associated with family per capita monthly income and patient education level(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis revealed that FoP was negatively correlated with resilience and sleep quality scores(r=-0.560,-0.537,P<0.01),respectively,and resilience was significantly associated with sleep quality scores(r=0.688,P<0.01).Mediation analysis showed that the mediating effect of resilience between FoP and sleep quality in patients with hematological malignancies was-0.100 and accounted for 50.51%of the total *** indicated that FoP directly and indirectly affected sleep quality through the mesomeric eff

van der Waals(vdW)semiconductors have gained significant attention due to their unique physical properties and promising applications,which are embedded within distinct crystallographic ***,we report a pressure-induced crystallineamorphization-recrystallization transition under compression in binary vdW semiconductor *** compression to 52 GPa,bulk SiP undergoes a consecutive phase transition from pristine crystalline to amorphous phase,ultimately to recrystallized *** employing synchrotron X-ray diffraction experiments in conjunction with high-pressure crystal structure searching techniques,we reveal that the recrystallized Si P hosts a tetragonal structure(space group I4mm)and further transforms partially into a cubic phase(space group Fm3m).Consistently,electrical transport and alternating-current magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate the presence of three superconducting phases,which are embedded in separate crystallographic symmetries—the amorphous,tetragonal,and cubic ***,a high superconducting transition temperature of 12.3 K is observed in its recovered tetragonal phase during *** findings uncover a novel phase evolution path and elucidate a pressure-engineered structure-property relationship in vdW semiconductor *** results not only offer a new platform to explore the transformation between different structures and functionalities,but also provide new opportunities for the design and exploration of advanced devices based on vdW materials.

High-purity germanium(HPGe)detectors,which are used for direct dark matter detection,have the advantages of a low threshold and excellent energy *** surface passivation of HPGe has become crucial for achieving an extremely low energy *** this study,first-principles simulations,passivation film preparation,and metal oxide semiconductor(MOS)capacitor characterization were combined to study surface *** calculations of the energy band structure of the -H,-OH,and -NH_(2) passivation groups on the surface of Ge were performed,and the interface state density and potential with five different passivation groups with N/O atomic ratios were accurately analyzed to obtain a stable surface *** on the theoretical calculation results,the surface passivation layers of the Ge_(2)ON_(2) film were prepared via magnetron sputtering in accordance with the optimum atomic ratio *** microstructure,C-V,and I-V electrical properties of the layers,and the passivation effect of the Al/Ge_(2)ON_(2)/Ge MOS were characterized to test the interface state *** mean interface state density obtained by the Terman method was 8.4×10^(11) cm^(-2) eV^(-1).The processing of germanium oxynitrogen passivation films is expected to be used in direct dark matter detection of the HPGe detector surface passivation technology to reduce the detector leakage currents.
