Facial wound segmentation plays a crucial role in preoperative planning and optimizing patient outcomes in various medical *** this paper,we propose an efficient approach for automating 3D facial wound segmentation using a two-stream graph convolutional *** method leverages the Cir3D-FaIR dataset and addresses the challenge of data imbalance through extensive experimentation with different loss *** achieve accurate segmentation,we conducted thorough experiments and selected a high-performing model from the *** selectedmodel demonstrates exceptional segmentation performance for complex 3D facial ***,based on the segmentation model,we propose an improved approach for extracting 3D facial wound fillers and compare it to the results of the previous *** method achieved a remarkable accuracy of 0.9999993% on the test suite,surpassing the performance of the previous *** this result,we use 3D printing technology to illustrate the shape of the wound *** outcomes of this study have significant implications for physicians involved in preoperative planning and intervention *** automating facial wound segmentation and improving the accuracy ofwound-filling extraction,our approach can assist in carefully assessing and optimizing interventions,leading to enhanced patient ***,it contributes to advancing facial reconstruction techniques by utilizing machine learning and 3D bioprinting for printing skin tissue *** source code is available at https://***/SIMOGroup/WoundFilling3D.

there has been a considerable development in microfluidic based immunodiagnostics over the past few years which has greatly favored the growth of novel point-of-care-testing(POCt).However,the realization of an inexpensive,low-power POCt needs cheap and disposable microfluidic devices that can perform autonomously with minimum user *** work,for the first time,reports the development of a new microchannel capillary flow assay(MCFA)platform that can perform chemiluminescence based ELISA with lyophilized chemiluminescent *** new MCFA platform exploits the ultra-high sensitivity of chemiluminescent detection while eliminating the shortcomings associated with liquid reagent handling,control of assay sequence and user *** functionally designed microchannels along with adequate hydrophilicity produce a sequential flow of assay reagents and autonomously performs the ultra-high sensitive chemiluminescence based ELISA for the detection of malaria biomarker such as *** MCFA platform with no external flow control and simple chemiluminescence detection can easily communicate with smartphone via USB-OtG port using a custom-designed optical *** use of the smartphone for display,data transfer,storage and analysis,as well as the source of power allows the development of a smartphone based POCt analyzer for disease *** paper reports a limit of detection(LOD)of 8 ng/mL by the smartphone analyzer which is sensitive enough to detect active malarial *** MCFA platform developed with the smartphone analyzer can be easily customized for different biomarkers,so a hand-held POCt for various infectious diseases can be envisaged with full networking capability at low cost.

Nowadays,wood identification is made by experts using hand lenses,wood atlases,and field manuals which take a lot of cost and time for the training *** quantity and species must be strictly set up,and accurate identification of the wood species must be made during exploitation to monitor trade and enforce regulations to stop illegal *** the development of science,wood identification should be supported with technology to enhance the perception of fairness of *** automatic wood identification system and a dataset of 50 commercial wood species from Asia are established,namely,wood anatomical images collected and used to train for the proposed *** the convolutional neural network(CNN),the last layers are usually soft-max functions with dense *** layers contain the most parameters that affect the speed *** reduce the number of parameters in the last layers of the CNN model and enhance the accuracy,the structure of the model should be optimized and ***,a hybrid of convolutional neural network and random forest model(CNN-RF model)is introduced to wood *** accuracy’s hybrid model is more than 98%,and the processing speed is 3 times higher than the CNN *** highest accuracy is 1.00 in some species,and the lowest is *** results show the excellent adaptability of the hybrid model in wood identification based on anatomical *** also facilitates further investigations of wood cells and has implications for wood science.

Opportunistic bacteremia in adult HIV-infected patients is a normal co-infectious condition caused by Gram-negative bacilli. Respiratory infections, including cough, shortness of breath, and chest pain and skin infection with eruptions, pustules and itchiness, are common complaints in the setting of late HIV infection. the variety of infections ranges from mild, self-limited viral, bacteremia and fungal infections to severe, life-threatening demanding urgent care and hospitalization. Varicella pneumonia, for instance, is the most severe complication of chickenpox in HIV infected adults, potentially refractory, fulminant respiratory failure can ensue. Patients with impaired immune status and chronic lung disease are at an increased risk. In the United States as well as in Vietnam, bacterial/viral pneumonia and skin infection are the two most common HIV-associated conditions. While globally the incidence of opportunistic infection has decreased since the introduction of highly active antiretroviral therapy during the last 3 decades, HIV-associated diseases remain a significant source of mortality, thus any manifestation must be taken seriously. this study will present the most common HIV-related pulmonary and skin infections and provide an overview of the epidemiology, characteristic clinical and chest radiograph findings, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention globally as well in Vietnam. though the extensive efforts of the Vietnamese Government during last decade contributed to a valuable decrease, yet epidemic in Vietnam still remains high, ranking Vietnam 5th in the South-East region. the second part of the study focuses on a unique and severe HIV case report of a 35-year-old man, with a rare form of pneumonia caused by Acitenobacter spp. concomitant with a prolonged and disseminating skin infection. the case has been treated with a combination of conventional anti-retroviral medication and autologous peripheral blood stem cells, the results showed that within 5 mon
