The rice root-knot nematode Meloidogyne graminicola is a severe pest of rice. In China, it was first reported from Hainan Province, and later from several other provinces. In the present study, a rice root-knot nematode population found from the rice cultivation areas of Zhejiang Province, China is characterized via molecular analysis using internal transcribed spacer(ITS) and cytochrome c oxidase subunit Ⅱ(coxⅡ)-16 S rRNA genes and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) observations of males and the second-stage juveniles. Morphometric data and molecular sequence comparisons for all M. graminicola populations occurring in China are also provided. The overall morphology of M. graminicola found in Zhejiang match well with the original description, though males have a slightly longer body and stylet, and a shorter tail, while the second-stage juvenile is also slightly longer than in the original description. This is the first report of M. graminicola from Zhejiang. Phylogenetic studies based on coxⅡ suggest that all the Chinese populations belong to Type B. This study expands knowledge of the increasing distribution and phylogenetic relationships of M. graminicola that occur in China.

ZnTe, CdTe, and the ternary alloy CdZnTe are important semiconductor materials used widely for the detection of an important range of electromagnetic radiation as gamma ray and X-ray. Although, recently these materials have acquired renewed importance due to the new explored nanolayer properties of modern devices. In addition, as shown in this work they can be grown using uncomplicated synthesis techniques based on the deposition in vapour phase of the elemental precursors. This work presents the results obtained from the deposition of nanolayers of these materials using the precursor vapour on GaAs and GaSb (001) substrates. This growth technique, extensively known as atomic layer deposition (ALD), allows the layers growth with nanometric dimension. The main results presented in this work are the used growth parameters and the results of the structural characterization of the layers by the means of Raman spectroscopy measurements. Raman scattering shows the peak corresponding to longitudinal optical (LO)-ZnTe, which is weak and slightly redshift in comparison with that reported for the ZnTe bulk at 210 cm^-1. For the case of the CdTe nanolayer, Raman spectra presented the LO-CdTe peak, which is indicative of the successful growth of the layer. Its weak and slightly redshift in comparison with that reported for the CdTe bulk can be related with the nanometric characteristic of this layer. The performed high-resolution X-ray diffraction (HR-XRD) measurement allows to study some important characteristics such as the crystallinity of the grown layer. In addition, the HR-XRD measurement suggests that the crystalline quality has dependence on the growth temperature.

At present,it is impossible to deny the existence of artificial intelligence in various areas of social life,understood as the simulation of expert human intelligence from computer processes that involve learning,reasoning,and self-correction,its benefits to the medical field,in particular,are innumerable,but their incorporation into health systems has been gradual for many *** to the above,this research analyzed artificial intelligence based on resilient leadership in the health sector,for which qualitative research was carried out with a documentary-bibliographic design with printed and electronic documentary sources with theoretical contributions fromÁvila,Mayer,and Quesada[1],Morgan[2],Villa[3],and Finol[4],among *** is highlighted that resilient leadership has become a strategic factor in all organizations,since times of uncertainty and changes lead institutions to properly manage the incorporation of technologies specifically AI,achieving in this way that the centers and professionals in the field of health assume the needs of the contexts and the innovations of the *** is concluded that resilient leadership will allow artificial intelligence in the health sector to generate higher levels of learning and adaptability to the transformations that are necessary,whose resistance would make its application difficult and in the long run it will leave behind professionals who refuse to assume the contributions of these innovative techniques in medical practice.

As colon cancer is among the top causes of death, there is a growinginterest in developing improved techniques for the early detection of colonpolyps. Given the close relation between colon polyps and colon cancer,their detection helps avoid cancer cases. The increment in the availability ofcolorectal screening tests and the number of colonoscopies have increasedthe burden on the medical personnel. In this article, the application of deeplearning techniques for the detection and segmentation of colon polyps incolonoscopies is presented. Four techniques were implemented and evaluated:Mask-RCNN, PANet, Cascade R-CNN and Hybrid Task Cascade (HTC).These were trained and tested using CVC-Colon database, ETIS-LARIBPolyp, and a proprietary dataset. Three experiments were conducted to assessthe techniques performance: (1) Training and testing using each databaseindependently, (2) Mergingd the databases and testing on each database independently using a merged test set, and (3) Training on each dataset and testingon the merged test set. In our experiments, PANet architecture has the bestperformance in Polyp detection, and HTC was the most accurate to segmentthem. This approach allows us to employ Deep Learning techniques to assisthealthcare professionals in the medical diagnosis for colon cancer. It is anticipated that this approach can be part of a framework for a semi-automatedpolyp detection in colonoscopies.

Objective: To investigate and characterize the chemical composition of the different crude extracts from the leaves of Broussonetia luzonica(Blanco)(Moraceae)(B. luzonica), an endemic plant in the ***: The air dried leaves were powdered and subjected to selective sequential extraction using solvents of increasing polarity through percolation, namely, n-hexane,ethyl acetate and methanol to obtain three different extracts. Then, each of the extracts was further subjected to gas chromatography–mass ***: Qualitative determination of the different biologically active compounds from crude extracts of B. luzonica using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry revealed different types of high and low molecular weight chemical entities with varying quantities present in each of the extracts. These chemical compounds are considered biologically and pharmacologically important. Furthermore, the three different extracts possess unique physicochemical characteristics which may be attributed to the compounds naturally present in significant quantities in the leaves of B. ***: The three extracts possess major bioactive compounds that were identified and characterized spectroscopically. Thus, identification of different biologically active compounds in the extracts of B. luzonica leaves warrants further biological and pharmacological studies.

The design of Recycled Hot Mixtures(RHM)in the United States is based on the guidelines provided by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program(NCHRP)Report ***,the extreme climatic characteristics in Canada require a validation on the selection of the virgin binders especially for Superpave Surface layer *** paper shows the results of a laboratory characterization of twelve conventional Superpave 12.5 mm mixtures,four of them with high Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement(RAP)*** Stress Restrained Specimen Test(TSRST)was conducted on triplicate samples for each mixture,and also the continuous grades for the binders were *** findings were compared with the recent guidelines provided by the NCHRP Report *** modulus was performed and used to determine the critical temperatures of the blended binder without *** analyses suggest that the virgin binder could be selected based on the critical temperature of the climate zone and the RAP content,and that the use of softer binders could not guaranty that the mixtures have the desired performance to low temperature cracking.
