the precipitates at grain boundary in a directionally solidified Ni base superalloy after heat treatment, aging at 975℃, and creep rupture test have been characterized. Besides the primary mc carbides and fine particles of u phase, the Re-containing M23C6 was observed. the precipitation kinetics revealed that the formation of M23C6 was associated with the dissolution of u phase and mc carbides. tEM image shows that the continuous precipitation of M23C6 particles effectively hinders the dislocation movement and strengthens the grain boundaries. the high strength of the alloy suggests that M23C6 carbides are beneficial to the properties although Re as an important matrix strengthening element was consumed.

Immunogenic antigens for vaccination are often created through the production of recombinant proteins using Escherichia coli.1 As a side product,aggregates called inclusion bodies(IBs)are formed,containing largely misfolded forms of the overexpressed recombinant protein.2 the effect of IBs on the immune system and whether they can be used as effective vaccine products remain *** non-native conformation of proteins upon accumulation in IBs abrogates their use as vaccines aimed at generating high-affinity antibodies.3 However,IBs exhibit unique properties,including mechanical and thermal stability due to their intrinsic particulate nature,biocompatibility,high antigenic content,low toxicity and relative resistance to *** characteristics make IBs attractive as an antigenic vaccine formulation for t cell responses to linear *** IBs can trigger adaptive cellular responses initiated via uptake by dendritic cells for presentation to t cells is unknown.

AIM to determine which of the common used incision techniques has the lowest chance of iatrogenic damage to the nerves which at risk are the superficial branch of the radial nerve(SBRN) and the Lateral Antebrachial Cutaneous Nerve(LABCN).MEtHODS twenty embalmed arms were dissected and the course of the SBRN and the LABCN in each individual arm was marked and the distance between the two branches of the SBRN at the location of the First Extensor Compartment(FEC) was measured. this data was used as input in a visualization tool called Computer Assisted Anatomy Mapping(CASAM) to map the course of the nerves in each individual arm. RESULtS this image visualizes that in 90% of the arms, one branch of the SBRN crosses the FEC and one branch runs volar to the compartment. the distance between the two branches was 7.8 mm at the beginning of the FEC and 10.2 mm at the end. Finally the angle of incision at which the chance of damage to the nerves is lowest, is 19.4 degrees volar to the *** CASAM shows the complexity of the course of the SBRN over the FEC. None of the four widely used incision techniques has a significantly lower chance of iatrogenic nerve damage. Surgical skills are paramount to prevent iatrogenic nerve damage.

Background though engaging patients with atrial fibrillation(AF) in understanding their stroke risk is encouraged by guidelines, little is known regarding AF patients' perceived stroke risk or its relationship with oral anticoagulation(OAC) use. We aim to identify factors associated with underestimation of stroke risk among older patients with AF and relate this to OAC use. Methods Data are from the ongoing SAGE(Systematic Assessment of Geriatric Elements)-AF study, which included older patients(> 65 years) with non-valvular AF and a CHA2 DS2-VASc score of ≥ 2. Participants reported their perceived risk of having a stroke without OAC. We compared the perceived risk to CHA2 DS2-VASc predicted stroke risk and classified participants as "over" or "under" estimators, and identified factors associated with underestimation of risk using multiple logistic regression. Results the average CHA2 DS2-VASc score of 915 participants(average age: 75 years, 47% female, 86% white) was 4.3 ± 1.6, 43% of participants had discordant predicted and self-reported stroke risks. Among the 376 participants at highest risk(CHA2 DS2-VASc score ≥ 5), 46% of participants underestimated their risk. Older participants(≥ 85 years) were more likely and OAC treated patients less likely to underestimate their risk of developing a future stroke than respective comparison groups. Conclusions A significant proportion of study participants misperceived their stroke risk, mostly by overestimating. Almost half of participants at high risk of stroke underestimated their risk, with older patients more likely to do so. Patients on OAC were less likely to underestimate their risk, suggesting that successful efforts to educate patients about their stroke risk may influence treatment choices.

采用尼龙袋消化试验研究大豆皮替代产奶牛日粮中玉米与小麦麸对瘤胃干物质与纤维消化特性的影响。试验处理为大豆皮分别替代精料中 0 (对照 ) ,2 5% ,50 % ,75%和 10 0 %玉米与小麦麸的 5个替代水平的产奶牛饲粮。饲粮的精料和粗料比为 50∶ 50。利用 2头装有永久性瘤胃瘘管的本地黄牛测定 5种大豆皮替代水平饲粮的干物质 (DM)和中性洗涤纤维 (NDF)的尼龙袋消化率与动态消化参数。所用数学模型为 :Y=a+b(1- e-c(t-L ) )。大豆皮 DM与 NDF的每小时消化速度分别为 0 .0 72和 0 .0 6 3,DM和 NDF中潜在可消化组分比例 (a+b)分别为 92 %和 89%。提高大豆皮替代水平 ,饲粮 DM中慢速消化组分 b直线提高 (P=0 .0 2 3) ,快速消化组分 a趋于下降 (P=0 .14 0 ) ,消化延滞期趋于延长 (P=0 .12 7)。提高大豆皮替代水平 ,对饲粮 DM中其他动态消化参数没有影响 (P=0 .36 0～ 0 .90 3)。随着大豆皮替代玉米与小麦麸水平的提高 ,饲粮 NDF中慢速消化组分的比例 b、潜在可消化组分 (a+b)呈二次曲线规律提高 (P=0 .0 0 1～ 0 .0 0 6 ) ,快速消化组分 a的比例趋于线性提高 (P=0 .0 82 ) ,而慢速消化组分的消化速度 c不受大豆皮替代水平的影响 (P=0 .6 88)。从本试验得出结论 :以大豆皮替代奶牛饲粮中 0 ,2 5% ,50 % ,75%和
