Stochastic Modelling and Geological Aspects of a Gold Mineralisation

Gold mineralisation is the result of physico-chemical and thermal processes of the earth’s interior. We may view a geological process of gold mineralization as a stochastic process Z(x):x∈D, where D may be considered as a mineral deposit. In the case of gold mineralization, samples drawn at regular intervals may be considered as following a discrete stochastic process. the point of interest is one of realistic estimation of mineral value property as computations based on classical methods leading to erroneous results. Modern methods based on stochastic modelling treating the process as an 1) Auto-regressive (AR), 2) Moving-average (MA) or a combination of these two viz., 3) ARMA of appropriate order k may lead to more realistic results. Yet another class of methods which consider the geometry of samples in termed as theory of Regionalised Variables. this paper analyses these classes of methods and illustrates a case study of a gold mineralization related to Strike Reef (Footwall branch) of Hutti gold mines.

to the Editor:In sepsis,bacterial endotoxins play a central role by inducing a dysregulated and exaggerated release of inflammatory mediators and cytokines,often described as the“cytokine storm”or“cytokinemia.”[1]Both endotoxins and cytokines have been implicated in the development of organ dysfunction,including acute kidney injury(AKI).[2]Removing circulating endotoxins and excess cytokines from the circulation restores chemotactic gradients,localizing the immune response to the principal site of infection and re-establishing a regulated immune response.[1,3]therefore,using hemofilters with enhanced endotoxin and cytokine adsorptive properties may bring about additional therapeutic benefits compared with conventional continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRt)filters.

Histology involves the observation of structural features in tissues using a *** diffraction-limited optical microscopes are commonly used in histological investigations,their resolving capabilities are insufficient to visualize details at subcellular *** a novel set of super-resolution optical microscopy techniques can fulfill the resolution demands in such cases,the system complexity,high operating cost,lack of multi-modality,and low-throughput imaging of these methods limit their wide adoption for histological *** this study,we introduce the photonic chip as a feasible high-throughput microscopy platform for super-resolution imaging of histological *** cryopreserved ultrathin tissue sections of human placenta,mouse kidney,pig heart,and zebrafish eye retina prepared by the tokuyasu method,we demonstrate diverse imaging capabilities of the photonic chip including total internal reflection fluorescence microscopy,intensity fluctuation-based optical nanoscopy,single-molecule localization microscopy,and correlative light-electron *** results validate the photonic chip as a feasible imaging platform for tissue sections and pave the way for the adoption of super-resolution high-throughput multimodal analysis of cryopreserved tissue samples both in research and clinical settings.

there are so many existing methods to obtain system reliability like re-generating point function technique, supplementary variables technique etc., but all these techniques are full of complicated calculations. Keeping above these facts in mind, the authors in this paper have evaluated some reliability parameters for tele-communication system by using Boolean functions technique and algebraic method. Reliability of considered tele-communication system has been evaluated by considering the fact that failures follow arbitrary time distribution. In particular, the reliability expression has also been calculated for Exponential and Weibull distributions. Further, an important reliability parameter namely M.t.t.F. (mean time to failure) has also been calculated. A numerical example with graphical illustrations has been appended at the end to highlight the important results and practical utility of the model.

Highly crystalline ZSM-5 zeolites are important for para-selective alkylation of alkyl aromatics, because they carry few external acid sites for isomerization of p-dialkyl products. Such zeolites (Si/Al = 25, 50, and 75) were synthesized in a fluoride medium between pH 4 and 6. their crystallinities, crystal sizes, and surface areas were higher than those of a commercial ZSM-5 zeolite. their para selectivities in alkylation were tested for vapor-phase tert-butylation of ethylbenzene between 200 and 400 °C. As expected, all the catalysts showed more than 90% para selectivity. At 300 °C, ethylbenzene conversion decreased in the order ZSM-5(25, commercial) > ZSM-5(25) > ZSM-5(50) > ZSM-5(75). the catalysts had weak, medium, and strong acid sites, but all the acid sites of ZSM-5(75) were weaker than those of ZSM-5(25) and ZSM-5(50). the high activity of commercial ZSM-5 was caused by its strong acid sites being stronger than those of the synthesized zeolites. Although the activity of the commercial catalyst was higher than those of the present catalysts, the selectivity for 4-t-butylethylbenzene (4-t-BEB) was low. the optimum feed ratio (ethylbenzene:t-butyl alcohol) was 2:1 and the feed rate was 1.65 h?1 for high ethylbenzene conversion and 4-t-BEB selectivity. time-on-stream studies showed slow catalyst deactivation. Highly crystalline ZSM-5 zeolites are therefore better than a commercial zeolite for para-selective alkylation of alkyl aromatics. they do not require much post-modification for high para selectivity. A fluoride medium is therefore better than an alkaline medium for obtaining highly crystalline para-selective ZSM-5 zeolites.

In this paper, we have considered an inhomogeneous beam with a damping distributed along the length of the beam. the beam is clamped at both ends and is assumed to vibrate longitudinally. We have estimated the total energy of the system at any time t. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functional, it is established directly that the energy of this system decays exponentially.

Objective:to better evaluate tertiary Gleason pattern reporting and to evaluate the impact of tertiary Gleason pattern 5(tP5)on prostate cancer pathological features and biochemical recurrence at our large single ***:We retrospectively reviewed 1962 patients who underwent radical prostatectomy(RP)for prostate cancer;tP5 was reported in 159 cases(8.1%).Men with Gleason score(GS)7 and GS 8 disease were divided into subgroups with and without tP5,and histopathological features were *** analyses were conducted to assess the impact on tP5 on biochemical-free survival(BFS).Results:tumors possessing GS 3+4 with tP5 were more likely to exhibit extraprostatic extension(EPE)and had a larger tumor diameter(tD)than GS 3+4 *** 3+4 with tP5 was also associated with positive surgical margins(SM),seminal vesicle involvement(SVI),and higher pre-operative prostate-specific antigen(PSA)values,but without statistical *** 4+3 with tP5 more commonly presented with EPE,positive SM,SVI,and greater tD and pre-operative PSA level than GS 4+3 *** multivariate analysis,Gleason score,EPE,and tP5 were overall independent risk factors for PSA recurrence in this ***,GS 4+3 with tP5 was associated with shorter time to recurrence versus GS 4+3 ***:Our results emphasize the importance of tP5 and suggest that criteria for tertiary pattern reporting in prostate cancer should be *** studies are needed to evaluate the role of tertiary patterns in prognostic models.
