An experimental investigation has been carried out with aa point focusing dish reflector of 12 square meters aperture area, exposed to the average direct normal irradiations of 810 W/m^2. This work focuses on enhancinge the energy and exergy efficiencies of the cavity receiver by minimizing the temperature difference between the wall and heat transfer fluids. Two heat transfer fluids Water and SiC + water nano fluid have been prepared from 50 nm particle size and 1% of volume fraction, and experimented separately for the flow rates of 0.2 lpm to 0.6 lpm with an interval of 0.1 lpm. The enhanced thermal conductivity of nano fluid is 0.800115 W/mK with the k_(eff)/k_b ratio of 1.1759 determined by using the Koo and Kleinstreuer correlation. The maximum attained energy and exergy efficiencies are 29.14% and 24.82% for water, and 32.91% and 39.83% for SiC+water nano fluid. The nano fluid exhibits enhanced energy and exergy efficiency of 12.94% and 60.48% than that of water at the flow rate of 0.5 lpm. The result shows that the system with SiC+Water produces higher exergy efficiency as compared to energy efficiency; in the case of water alone, the energy efficiency is higher than exergy efficiency.

Objective:To evaluate whether there would be a difference in outcome when the smaller ultra-mini 12 Fr sheath was used instead of the mini 16 Fr sheath for percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCnL)in paediatric patients for stones less than 25 ***:This was a prospective cohort study of patients who underwent PCnL in our hospital in a 2-year period from July 2016 to June 2018 by a single *** was performed in a prone position and tract was dilated to the respective size using single step *** was used to fragment the ***-free outcome was defined as absence of stone fragment at 3 months on kidney,ureter,and bladder ***:There were 40 patients in each *** stone size was comparable between the two groups(14.5 mm vs.15.0 mm).The procedure was completed faster in the 16 Fr group compared to 12 Fr group(24.5 min vs.34.6 min).Stone clearance was highly successful in both groups(97.5%vs.95.0%).There was no difference in complications between the two *** decrease in hemoglobin was minimal in both groups(0.2 g/dL vs.0.3 g/dL).Conclusion:We found that the success rates were similar in both mini PCnL and the smaller ultra-mini PCnL *** significant difference in bleeding was noted in our pilot study,however,operative time was longer in the ultra-mini group as compared to the mini sheath group.

Low grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm (LAMn) is a rare malignancy with incidence of 0.7% to 1.7% of all appendicectomies [1]. LAMn has the worst complication of mucin seeding into adjacent peritoneum leading to pseudomyxoma peritonei. LAMn lacks standardised treatment approach where only appendicectomy is preferred for resection of non metastatic disease. Case Presentation A 38 yr old female presented with right lower quadrant where CT Abdomen revealed Mucocele of Appendix. Patient underwent Laparoscopic Appendicectomy and Histopathological examination revealed Low grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm. Patient is on regular follow up and is disease free. Conclusion low grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm is usually an incidental finding where treatment depends on staging and histology of the tumour.

Objective:To identify the hepatoprotective and antioxidant activity of Luminetzera racemosa （L racemosa）bark ***:Wistar albino rats were divided into 6 groups:Group 1 served as control;Group 2 served as hepatotoxin（CCL4 treated） group;Group 3 served as positive control（Silymarin） treated groups;Group 4,5 and 6 served as（100,200 and 300 mg/kg bw p.o.） L racemosa bark extract treated ***,in vitro antioxidant indexes,including DPPH, hydroxyl radical scavenging activity（HRSA）,nO,ferric reducing antioxidant power（FRAP）,lipid hydroperoxide（LPO） and super oxide dismutase（SOD） were also analyzed in the bark extract. Results:The results suggested that,the level of serum glutamate oxyloacetic transaminase（SCOT）, serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase（SGPT）,alkaline phosphatise（ALP）,bilurubin,cholesterol, sugar and lactate dehydrogenase（LDH） were significantly（Pncreased in hepatotoxin treated rats when compared with the control ***,the maximum reduction of SGOT[（225.36±13.65） IU/L],SGPT[（96.85±17.36） IU/L],ALP[（315.37±17.16） IU/L],bilirubin[（2.97±0.46） mg/dL], cholesterol[（163.73±17.54） mg/dL],sugar[（127.35±27.35） mg/dL]and LDH[（1 784.00±268.36） IU/L] were observed with 300 mg/kg bw of bark extract treated *** scores showed that,no visible changes were observed with high dose（300 mg/kg bw） of bark extract treated rats except mild fatty *** in vitro antioxidant assays showed that,the IC50 values were observed as（44.17±6.87）μ/mL,（42.45±2.81）μg/mL,（62.37±3.98）μg/mL,（54.24±3.09）μg/mL, （87.25±5.90）μg/mL and（71.54±5.42）μg/mL for ***,nO,FRAP,LPO and SOD radical scavenging activities,***:The hepatoprotective and antioxidant activities of the bark extract might be to the presence of unique chemical classes such as flavonoids, alkaloids and polyphenols.

Objective:To identify the possible antiplasmodial compounds from leaf,stem,root and flower extracts of Ocimum canum（***）,Ocimum sanctum（***） and Ocimum basilicum （***）.Methods:The ***,*** and *** were collected from Ramanalhapuram District,Tamil nadu and the extraction was carried out in *** filter sterilized extracts（100,30,23,12.5,6.23 and 3.125μg/mL） of leaf,stem,root and flower extracts of ***,*** and *** were tested for antiplasmodial activity against Plasmodium falciparum（***）.The potential extracts were also tested for their phytochemical ***:The leaf extract of *** showed excellent antiplasmodial activity(IC50 3538μg/mL) followed by leaf extract of ***(IC50 4341μg/mL). The leaf extract of ***,root extracts of *** and ***,the stem and flower extracts of all the three tested Ocimum species showed IC50 values between 50 and 100μg/mL Statistical analysis reveals that,significant antiplasmodial activity（Pn the concentrations and time of *** chemical injury to erythrocytes was also carried out and it shows that,there were no morphological changes in erythrocytes by the ethanolic extract of ***,*** and *** in vitro antiplasmodial activity might be due to the presence of alkaloids,glycosides,flavonoids,phenols,saponins,triterpenoids,proteins,resins, steroids and tannins in the ethanolic extracts of tested ***:The ethanolic leaf extracts of *** possess lead compounds for the development of antiplasmodial drugs.

Objective:To identify the hepatoprotective and in vitro antioxidant activity of Lumnitzera racemosa(***)leaf ***:Animals in Group 1 served as vehicle control,Group 2 served as liepatoloxin(CCL_4 treated)group,Group 3 served as positive control(Silyinarin)group,and Group 4,5 and 6 served as(75,150 and 300 mg/kg bw p.o.)*** leaf extract treated ***,in vitro antioxidant DPPH,hydroxyl radical scavenging activity(HRSA),nO,ferric reducing antioxidant power(FRAP),lipid hydroperoxide(LPO)and super oxide dismutase(SOD)were also analyzed for the leaf ***:The levels of the serum parameters such as serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase(SCOT),serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase(SGPT),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),bilirubin,cholesterol(CHL),sugar and lactate dehydrogenase(LDU)were significantly increased in CCL_4 treated rats when compared with the control group(Pn of SGOT[(210.36±19.63)IU/L],SGPT[(82.37±13.87)IU/L],ALP[(197.63±23.43)IU/L],bilurubin[(2.15±0.84)mg/dL],cholesterol[(163.83±15.63)mg/dL],sugar[(93.00±7.65)mg/dL]and LDH[(1134.00±285.00)IU/L]were observed with the high dose(300 mg/kg bw)of leaf extract treated *** scores showed that,no visible changes were observed with high dose(300 mg/kg bw)of leaf extract treated rats except few mild *** IC_(50)values were observed as(56.37±4.87)μg/mL,(57.68±1.98)μg/mL,(64.I5±2.90)μg/mL,(61.94±3.98)μg/mL,(94.53±1.68)μg/mL and(69.7±2.65)μg/mL for DPPH,HRSA,nO,FRAP,LPO and SOD radical scavenging activities,***:In conclusion,the hepatoprotective effect of the *** leaf extract might be due to the presence of phenolic groups,terpenoids and alkaloids and in vitro antioxidant properties.

Anthocyanins(ACn) are water-soluble pigments, belonging to flavonoids, and are present in almost all fruits, and vegetables at varying concentration. About 635 ACn were distinguished based on the position and number of methoxyl and hydroxyl moieties in the basic structure of ACn. Pelargonidin, cyanidin, delphinidin, malvidin, peonidin, and petunidin are extensively studied anthocyanidins. The absorption, bioavailability, metabolism, pharmacokinetics, molecular mechanism, and analytical techniques of several phytochemicals were described. The biological benefits(antidiabetic, anti-neuro-disorder, anti-cardiovascular diseases, antigastrointestinal diseases, and disorders) of flavonoids and ACn have been reported. Several in vitro, and in vivo reports demonstrated that ACn-rich plant extracts ameliorate the diabetesassociated consequences by reducing the glucose absorption, ROS production, oxidative stress, glomerular angiogenesis, lipid synthesis, and FoxO1 and adipose triglyceride lipase expressions, and improve the insulin secretion, insulin sensitivity, glucose tolerance, glucose uptake, glucose consumption, antioxidant activity. The literature search was made in Scopus, Google Scholar, PubMed using the keywords "anthocyanin" and "diabetes". The documents were carefully checked for the relevance to the current manuscript and the selection was made without any chronological restriction. The present manuscript summarizes the updated reports on antihyperglycemic properties of ACn.
