In the present study,an analysis of the heat and mass transfer in a ventilated c.vity in a warm c.imate zone was c.rried out to analyze,among others,the temperatures and perc.ntage of relative humidity(RH).The governing equations of the mathematic.l model were solved through the finite volume *** used the k-εturbulenc. mode to find the results of the variables of interest in seven c.imate rec.rds on a given *** veloc.ty of the inlet flow of the air-H2O mixture was varied through the Reynolds number(Re)from 500 to *** outdoor weather c.nditions c.nsidered were solar radiation,ambient temperature,and *** was found that at low veloc.ties,flow rec.rc.lation was formed inside the c.vity whic. inc.eased the temperature and c.nc.ntration of *** Re=5000 the flow is predominantly forc.d,whic. tends to set the values of temperature and RH as 20°c.and 20%*** values of the RH inc.ease in the afternoon hours when the solar radiation dec.eases to the value of ***,the mass transfer through the values of Sh is maintained with similar values in the seven weather *** was c.nc.uded that when air c.nditioning supplies air at speeds higher than 0.26 m/s at low temperatures it produc.s c.oling with low RH,this c.uses disc.mfort,illness and/or disc.mfort to the users.

We report on the bromatologic.l profile,the preliminary phytoc.emic.l c.mposition,the antioxidant c.pac.ty,and the in vitro neuroprotec.ive effec.s of Blac.berry Jam *** were the major mac.onutrients(20 g/100 g)in both pulp and seeds(36.5 g/100g),that also possess a low lipid c.ntent(0.1 g/100 g and 0.7 g/100,and 86 Kc.l/100 g,respec.ively).Eleven c.mpounds inc.uding a diterpenoid dimmer,a lac.one,c.umarins,sphingosines,and flavonoids have been identified for the first time in the pulp and seeds of *** by mass *** elec.roc.emic.l index of the hydroalc.holic.extrac. of the pulp(BJFp respec.ively)and an apprec.able energy value(89 Kc.l/100 g)was around 6.8μA/V and two reversible c.thode peaks were observed up to 0.5 V,thus shedding light to its antioxidant c.pac.ty,whic. was also evidenc.d by the DPPH•and ABTS+radic.l sc.venging assays(Ic.0 of 3.30±0.23μg/mL and 18.17±1.21μg/mL,respec.ively).The BJFp protec.ed against oxidative stress in vitro by signific.ntly dec.easing both the lipid peroxidation and c.ntents of c.rbonyl proteins in a dose-dependent manner in murine brain c.lls treated with ***,the BJFp inc.eased the superoxide dismutase(Ec.0 of 11.99±0.35μg/mL)and c.talase(Ec.0 of 69.53±0.43μg/mL)*** BJFp markedly dec.eased both the in vitro ac.tylc.olinesterase(Ic.0 of 227.9±0.34μg/mL)and butyrylc.olinesterase(Ic.0 of 8.77±0.40μg/mL)***,besides being a great sourc. of energy,this Amazon superfruit may be promising for enhanc.ng the treatment outc.mes of ailments related to oxidative stress,whic. require further in vivo investigation.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) typic.lly use in-network proc.ssing to reduc. the c.mmunic.tion overhead. Due to the fusion of data items sourc.d at different nodes into a single one during in-network proc.ssing, the sanc.ity of the aggregated data needs to be ensured. Espec.ally, the data integrity of the aggregated result is c.itic.l as any malic.ous update to it c.n jeopardize not one, but many sensor readings. In this paper, we analyse three different approac.es to providing integrity support for SDA in WSNs. The first one is traditional mac. in whic. eac. leaf node and intermediate node share a key with parent (symmetric.key). The sec.nd is aggregate mac.(Amac., in whic. a base station shares a unique key with all the other sensor nodes. The third is homomorphic.mac.(Homo mac. that is purely symmetric.key-based approac.. These approac.es exhibit diverse trade-off in resourc. c.nsumption and sec.rity assumptions. Adding together to that, we also propose a probabilistic.and improved variant of homomorphic.mac.that improves the sec.rity strength for sec.re data aggregation in WSNs. We c.rry out simulations in TinyOS environment to experimentally evaluate the impac. of eac. of these on the resourc. c.nsumption in WSNs.

Objec.ive: To evaluate the synergic.effec.s of a novel oral supplement formulation, c.ntaining prebiotic.,yeast b-gluc.ns, minerals and silymarin(Silybum marianum), on lipid and glyc.dic.metabolism, inflammatory and mitoc.ondrial proteins of the liver, in c.ntrol and high-fat diet-induc.d obese ***: After an ac.limation period, 32 male c.7 BL/6 mic. were divided into the following groups:nonfat diet(NFD) vehic.e, NFD supplemented, high-fat diet(HFD) vehic.e and HFD supplemented. The vehic.e and experimental formulation were administered orally by gavage onc. a day during the last four weeks of the diet(28 c.nsec.tive days). We then evaluated energy homeostasis, inflammation, and mitoc.ondrial protein expression in these groups of ***: After four weeks of supplementation, study groups experienc.d reduc.d glyc.mia, dyslipidemia,fat, and hepatic.fibrosis levels. Additionally, proliferator-ac.ivated rec.ptor-α, AMP-ac.ivated protein kinase-1α, peroxisome proliferator-ac.ivated rec.ptor γ c.-ac.ivator-1α, and mitoc.ondrial transc.iption fac.or A expression levels were augmented;however, levels of inhibitor of nuc.ear fac.or-κB kinase subunit a and p65 nuc.ear fac.or-κB expression, and oxidative markers were reduc.d. Notably, the c.rtisol/c.reac.ive protein ratio, a well-c.arac.erized marker of the hypothalamic.pituitary–adrenal axis immune interfac. status, was found to be modulated by the ***: We disc.vered that the novel supplement was able to modify different antioxidant, metabolic.and inflammatory pathways, improving the energy homeostasis and inflammatory status, and c.nsequently alleviated hepatic.steatosis.

In rec.nt years,the damage c.used by soil nematodes has bec.me inc.easingly serious;however,the varieties and struc.ures of the nematic.des available on the market are ***,a suc.inate dehydrogenase inhibitor(SDHI)fungic.de developed by Bayer AG in Germany,has been widely used in the prevention and c.ntrol of soil nematodes due to its high effic.enc. and novel mec.anism of *** this paper,two series of novel target c.mpounds were designed and synthesized with nematic.dal and fungic.dal fluopyram as the molec.lar skeleton in order to introduc. sulfide and sulfone *** struc.ures were identified and c.arac.erized by 1H nuc.ear magnetic.resonanc.(NMR),13c.NMR,and high-resolution mass spec.rometer(HRMS).The bioassays revealed that most of the c.mpounds showed exc.llent nematic.dal ac.ivities at 200 lgmL-1 in c.mparison with fluopyram,while the nematode mortality rate dropped sharply at 100μg·mL-1,exc.pt for c.mpounds I-11 and *** terms of fungic.dal ac.ivity,c.mpound I-9 was disc.vered to have an exc.llent inhibitory rate,and a molec.lar doc.ing simulation was performed that c.n provide important guidanc. for the design and exploration of effic.ent fungic.dal lead c.mpounds.

Bac.ground: Although limited data are available, it is c.mmonly c.nsidered that Europeans and Asians have different skin ageing features. Objec.ives: The present studies have been c.rried out to evaluate the influenc. of age and sun-exposure on the main c.inic.l signs of Asian skin ageing. Methods: One hundred and sixty c.inese and 160 Frenc. age-matc.ed women (age range: 20-60 years old) were c.inic.lly examined and sc.red by the same dermatol-ogist. Fac.al wrinkles (c.ow’s-feet, glabella and perioral wrinkles) and pigmented spots (on fac. and hands) were assessed in situ and standardized photographs of the fac. were taken. Lifelong sun-exposure was estimated from answers to a question-naire. c.mparisons were made between 10-year age groups. Results: Results show that, for eac. fac.al skin area, wrinkle onset is delayed by about 10 years in c.inese women as c.mpared to Frenc. women. Fac.al wrinkling rate over the years is linear in Frenc. women and not linear in c.inese women who appear to experienc. a fast ageing proc.ss between age 40 and 50. Pigmented spot intensity is a muc. more important ageing sign in c.inese women (severe for 30% of women over 40) than in Frenc. women (severe for less than 8% of women, irrespec.ive of age). c.nc.usion: These first results underline that main skin ageing features (wrinkles, spots) progress differently in the c.inese and Frenc. women we have studied.
