This review article summarizes the current understanding and recent updates to tropical cyclone outer size and structure forecasting and research primarily since 2018 as part of the World Meteorological Organization's 10th International Workshop on Tropical Cyclones.A more complete understanding of tropical cyclone outer wind and precipitation is key to anticipating storm intensification and the scale and magnitude of landfalling *** first discuss the relevance of tropical cyclone outer size and structure,improvements in our understanding of its life cycle and inter-basin variability,and the processes that impact outer size *** next focus on current forecasting practices and differences among warning centers,recent advances in operational forecasting,and new observations of the storm outer wind *** also summarize recent research on projected tropical cyclone outer size and structure changes by the late 21st ***,we discuss recommendations for the future of tropical cyclone outer size forecasting and research.

儿童下肢痛是一种常见症状,因可见于多种疾病,故诊断较为困难.对这类病例医生常考虑骨骼肌肉系统疾病而很少考虑神经系统病变;再加上患儿的病史采集比较困难,在接受神经系统检查时常不易配合,因此很易误诊.儿童出现下肢痛一定要想到格林-巴利综合征的可能性.如没有及时诊断格林-巴利综合征并采取相应的治疗措施,患儿很可能出现呼吸衰竭,危及生命,严重的还会因肌瘫而死亡.现报道一例首发症状为髋关节疼痛的格林-巴利综合征患儿.

瑞典关于CARD15变异体在决定克罗恩病易感性作用的研究

***’s disease(CD) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disorder caused by environmental and genetic *** in the CARD15 gene have been associated with *** previous case-control CARD15 study has been performed in the Swedish *** and *** study comprised of 321 individuals:178 with CD and 143 healthy controls(HCs) ,all from stockholm *** were genotyped for the three main CD-associated CARD15 variants(R702W,G908R and 1007fs) and phen-otypic associations were *** allele frequencies of the R702W variant(4.5% CD versus 0.7% HC,p = 0.008,OR = 6.8) and the G908R variant(2.0% CD versus 0% HC,p = 0.045) were more common in CD patients than in *** significant difference in 1007fs variant allele frequencywas found between CD patients and controls(2.0% CD versus 1.7% HC,p = 0.8,OR = 1.1) .Carriage of CARD15 variants was more common in the CD patients than in controls(15.2% CD versus 4.2% HC,p = 0.001,OR = 4.1,population attributable risk(PAR) = 11.4%) .Genotype-phenotype analysis demonstrated that CARD15 variants were associated with ileal disease(p =0.0006,OR = 9.3,CI = 2.2-34) and protective for colonic CD(p = 0.01,OR = 0.18) .An association between CARD15 variants and ileal CD(p = 0.004,OR = 6.6) was confirmed by multivariate *** CARD15 variants R702W and G908R,but not 1007fs,are associated with susceptibility to CD in stockholm ***-phen-otype analysis shows an association with ileal *** contribution of these CARD15 mutations in Swedish CD patients overall is low in relation to studies elsewhere in Central Europe and North America,but is consistent with emerging data from elsewhere in Scandinavia and in Northern Europe.

Synthesis,properties,and optical applications of noble metal nanoparticle-biomolecule conjugates

noble metal nanoparticles,such as gold or silver nanoparticles and nanorods,exhibit unique photonic,electronic and catalytic *** of noble metal nanoparticles with biomolecules(e.g.,protein and DNA) produces systems that possess numerous applications in catalysis,delivery,therapy,imaging,sensing,constructing nanostructures and controlling the structure of *** this paper,the recent development of noble metal nanoparticle-biomolecule conjugates is reviewed from the following three aspects:(1) synthesis of noble metal nanoparticle-biomolecule systems by electrostatic adsorption,direct chemisorption of thiol derivatives,covalent binding through bifunctional linkers and specific affinity interactions;(2) the photonic properties and bioactivation of noble metal nanoparticle-biomolecule conjugates;and(3) the optical applications of such systems in biosensors,and medical imaging,diagnosis,and *** conjugation of Au and Ag nanoparticles with biomolecules and the most recent optical applications of the resulting systems have been focused on.
