A 63-year-old male with old myocardial infarction was referred to cardiology department with cardiac *** revealed Q wave in the precordial leads demonstrating ischemia of anterior left ventricular *** pulmonary edema was documented on chest *** echocardiography showed severely reduced left ventricular function (EF: 28%) with enlarged left atrium and *** angiography was performed showing a total occlusion of the proximal portion of the left anterior descending artery (LAD)(Figure 1) with chronic total occlusion in the proximal portion of right coronary *** stent 2.75 × 23 mm (Abbott) was implanted in the proximal LAD *** angiography after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) revealed no definite coronary fistula (Figure 2).Two weeks later,follow-up coronary angiography demonstrated multiple coronary-left ventricular fistulas (Figure 3) which were absent in the previous angiography.

An 87-year-old male with old myocardial infarction was referred to the hospital due to left femur neck fracture and intermittent dizziness. Significant 2:1 atrioventricular block was demonstrated on initial electrocardiogram (Figure 1). Transthoracic echocardiography showed reduced left ventricular function (LVEF = 47%) with regional wall motion abnormality of right coronary artery (RCA) and left circumflex coronary artery (LCx) artery. Coronary angiography showed patent previous proximal RCA and distal LCx stents. Temporary pacemaker was inserted initially and the patient was planned for permanent pacemaker insertion after the surgery.

BACKGROUND Depression is a growing public health problem that affects over 350 million people globally and accounts for approximately 7.5%of healthy years lost due to ***,one of the first-line medications for the treatment of depression,is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and one of the most commonly prescribed antidepressant medications *** thought to be generally safe and with minimal drug-drug interactions,we herein present an unusual case of cholestatic liver injury,likely secondary to escitalopram *** SUMMARY A 56-year-old Chinese lady presented with fever and cholestatic liver injury two weeks after initiation of escitalopram for the treatment of psychotic *** examination was *** investigations,including a computed tomography scan of the abdomen and pelvis and tests for hepatitis A,B and C and for autoimmune liver disease were ***,a diagnosis of escitalopram-induced liver injury was *** stopping escitalopram,repeat liver function tests showed downtrending liver enzymes with eventual normalization of serum aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase one-week *** Clinicians should be aware of the possibility of escitalopram-induced liver injury when initiating depressed patients on antidepressant *** requires extra vigilance as most patients may remain *** of liver function tests could be considered after initiation of antidepressant treatment,especially in patients with pre-existing liver disease.

Photodynamic therapy(PDT)is attracting attention as a next-generation cancer treatment that can selectively destroy malignant tissues,exhibit fewer side effects,and lack pain during *** PDT systems have recently been developed to resolve the issues of bulky and expensive conventional PDT systems and to implement continuous and repetitive *** implantable PDT systems,however,are not able to perform multiple functions simultaneously,such as modulating light intensity,measuring,and transmitting tumor-related data,resulting in the complexity of cancer ***,we introduce a flexible and fully implantable wireless optoelectronic system capable of continuous and effective cancer treatment by fusing PDT and hyperthermia and enabling tumor size monitoring in *** system exploits micro inorganic light-emitting diodes(μ-LED)that emit light with a wavelength of 624 nm,designed not to affect surrounding normal tissues by utilizing a fully programmable light intensity ofμ-LED and precisely monitoring the tumor size by Si phototransistor during a long-term implantation(2–3 weeks).The superiority of simultaneous cancer treatment and tumor size monitoring capabilities of our system operated by wireless power and data transmissions with a cell phone was confirmed through in vitro experiments,ray-tracing simulation results,and a tumor xenograft mouse model in *** all-in-one single system for cancer treatment offers opportunities to not only enable effective treatment of tumors located deep in the tissue but also enable precise and continuous monitoring of tumor size in real-time.

Although signifi cant research eff orts have been targeted toward conservation and management of endangered terrestrial fl ora and fauna,attempts have been limited to conserve threatened *** siliquosa is an ecologically and commercially vital brown alga that is uniquely distributed in the Yellow-Bohai Sea and along the southwest coast of Korea.A massive decline in its distribution range and biomass from the mid-1990s onward indicates that this species has become *** the present study,we used nuclear internal transcribed spacer and concatenated mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I subunit+intergenic spacer to estimate the genetic diversity,population connectivity,and degree of genetic diff erentiation of *** in China and *** molecular results exhibited strikingly low levels of haplotype/ribotype and nucleotide diversity in *** populations,with only three mitochondrial haplotypes and nuclear ribotypes detected in 136 and 143 specimens,*** analysis of molecular variance revealed 85%-95%of genetic variance among *** diff erentiation coeffi cient(F_(ST))and gene fl ow(N_(m))suggested that two populations(JIN and GWA)along the southern coast of Korea are highly divergent from the others,with weak genetic *** signifi cant genetic diff erentiation was observed among populations either in China or along the geographically proximate west coast of ***,four independent management units were designated for sustainable management:the LII and RUS populations in China,the yeo and CHA populations along the west coast of Korea,and each of the GWA and JIN populations along the south coast of *** suggest that artifi cial cultivation and transplantation of *** are the eff ective approaches for restoration and conservation.

八卦五雷钱:雷法传承的民间传播

自宋代神霄雷法流传以来,道教雷法一直强调修炼体内脏腑五行平衡,以达到自身感通天地万物的五行八卦之气,进而由性命双修而神通妙变。但道教雷法信仰要在民间普及化,除了保持其神秘化与神圣化的特征,还必须依靠通俗化形式的传播。因此,在道教文化内部,便可能依据雷法义理,衍生出某些兼具祈禳和吉祥意义的饰物。八卦五雷钱在正面使用后天卦图式,背面根据道教符箓构图规律符式,铸刻祝愿"斩妖辟邪、永保神清"的咒语,以结合相应的开光仪式生效。这整套做法其实内蕴道教雷法对天地人关系的系统认知,牵涉从个人实修到天人感通的修炼论述,提醒佩戴者修炼雷法如何入门。但民间信奉开光八卦五雷钱,未必完全深研五行、五脏、五雷互构互动哲理,也不见得因理解而趋向复杂的修炼程序,他们主要还是相信其中感通神人的超自然作用,期望佩戴可以造福主人。这种现象,既是道法理论民俗化的表达,也反映出历史以来知识型的道教雷法义理如何适应普通老百姓趋吉避凶的信仰愿望,互相是既有距离又有结合。

Interstitial lung disease （ILD） is a comprehensive term referring to a group of lung diseases affecting the interstitium of the lung. Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis （IPF） is the most common idiopathic ILD, and nonspecific interstitial pneumonia （NSIP） is the second most common. As the name suggests, NSIP is diagnosed atter many other diseases are excluded. The main pathological finding in NSIP is homogeneous interstitial inflammation with or without fibrosis. NSIP can be categorized by cellular type or fibrotic type, according to the grade of inflammation and fibrosis. The cellular type has mostly inflammatory lesions with good responses to steroid, but the fibrotic type has a large proportion of fibrosis mixed with inflammatory lesions and a relatively poor response to steroid treatment So far, the exact mechanism underlying idiopathic lED has not been clarified. Determining key regulators of these ILDs will be helpful in the diagnosis and development of novel drugs for ILD.
