Targeting tau in Alzheimer's disease:from mechanisms to clinical therapy

Alzheimer’s disease is the most prevalent neurodegenerative disease affecting older *** features of Alzheimer’s disease include extra cellular aggregation of amyloid-βplaques and the accumulation of neurofibrillary tangles,fo rmed by tau protein,in the *** there are amyloid-β-ta rgeting therapies for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease,these therapies are costly and exhibit potential negative side *** evidence suggests significant involvement of tau protein in Alzheimer’s disease-related *** an important microtubule-associated protein,tau plays an important role in maintaining the stability of neuronal microtubules and promoting axonal *** fact,clinical studies have shown that abnormal phosphorylation of tau protein occurs before accumulation of amyloid-βin the *** therapeutic strategies targeting tau protein have begun to emerge,and are considered possible methods to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s ***,abnormalities in post-translational modifications of the tau protein,including aberrant phosphorylation,ubiquitination,small ubiquitin-like modifier(SUMO)ylation,acetylation,and truncation,contribute to its microtubule dissociation,misfolding,and subcellular *** causes mitochondrial damage,synaptic impairments,gliosis,and neuroinflammation,eventually leading to neurodegeneration and cognitive *** review summarizes the recent findings on the underlying mechanisms of tau protein in the onset and progression of Alzheimer’s disease and discusses tau-targeted treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

The problem of maximizing the throughput of Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication Systems is *** model the fabrication systems as a Stochastic Timed Automata and design a discrete-event simulation *** simulation scheme is explicit,fast and achieves high fidelity which captures the feature of reentrant process flow and is flexible to accommodate diversified wafer lot scheduling policies.A series of Marginal Machine Allocation Algorithms are proposed to sequentially allocate *** experiments suggest the designed methods are efficient to find good allocation solutions.

Based on consumers'***(artificial intelligence)recommendation automati-cally filters information,which provokes scholars'*** believe that by analyzing the consumers'preferences,Al recommendation enables consumers to choose products more quickly and at a lower *** deem that consumers are more easily trapped in information cocoons because of the use of Al *** reduces the possibility of consumers contacting a variety of commodities,thus lowering the con-sumer decision *** on *** paper discusses the moderating role of Al recommendation on the relationship between consumers'preferences and information ***,it examines the relationship between information cocoons and con-sumer decision *** fndings are:Al recommendation strengthens consumers'preferences;consumers'preferences are positively correlated with information cocoons and further lead to the decline of consumers'decision *** the Al *** paper contributes to revealing the dark sides of AI recommendation and provides empirical evidence for the regulation of Al behaviors.

Discovering more and new geometrically frustrated systems remains an active point of inquiry in fundamental physics for the existence of unusual states of ***,we report spin-liquid-like behavior in a two-dimensional(2D)rhombic lattice Fe-metal-organic framework(Fe-MOF)with frustrated *** Fe-MOF exhibits a high frustration factor f=|θCW|/TN≥315,and its long-range magnetic order is suppressed down to 180 *** theoretical calculations demonstrate strong antiferromagnetic coupling between adjacent Fe3+ions,indicating the potential of a classical spin-liquid-like ***,a T-linear heat capacity parameter,γ,originating from electronic contributions and with magnetic field independence up to 8 T,can be observed in the specific heat capacity measurements at low-temperature,providing further proof for the spin-liquid-like *** work highlights the potential of MOF materials in geometrically frustrated systems,and will promote the research of exotic quantum physics phenomena.

The Relationship between Abnormal Circadian Blood Pressure Rhythm and Risk of Readmission in Patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction

Objective:Abnormal circadian blood pressure rhythm has been revealed to be associated with hypertensive target organ damage and cardiovascular events,but its association with readmission risk in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF)remains *** conducted a retrospective study to explore the relationship between circadian blood pressure rhythm and readmission risk in HFpEF ***:We retrospectively collected baseline and follow-up data on HFpEF patients who underwent ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM)from May 2015 to October *** circadian blood pressure rhythms defi ned by ABPM were grouped as dipper,nondipper,or riser *** and multivariate linear regression analyses were performed to assess the association between circadian blood pressure rhythm and readmission ***:A total of 122 patients were enrolled in this *** mean age and ejection fraction were 69.87 years and 61.44%,respectively,with mean the N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)level being 1048.15 pg/*** were signifi cant differences in the 24-hour systolic blood pressure(SBP),sleep SBP,and sleep diastolic blood pressure(DBP)among the three groups,where the 24-hour SBP,sleep SBP,and sleep DBP in the riser pattern group were markedly higher than in the dipper pattern ***,serum NT-proBNP levels,the proportion of patients readmitted for heart failure and the mean number of admissions differed markedly among three ***,multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the riser pattern was a signifi cant and independent risk factor for increased serum NT-proBNP level(β=929.16,95%confi dence interval 178.79–1679.53,P=0.016).In multivariate logistic regression analysis,the riser pattern was demonstrated to be a signifi cant risk factor for readmission(odds ratio 11.23,95%confi dence interval 2.01–62.67,P=0.006)in HFpEF ***:The riser blood pressure pattern is a

本研究基于收敛分析框架,就数字经济发展是否促进了区域经济增长收敛进行实证分析。为避免传统经济数据中可能存在的失真问题,采用了卫星灯光数据来测度地区经济状况。全部样本的分析结果显示,中国城市经济表现出增长收敛特征,数字经济在此过程中发挥了显著促进作用;分地区样本的分析结果显示,中西部城市表现出经济增长收敛现象,且在相对落后的西部地区,数字经济所发挥的促进作用更为显著;机制分析结果表明,数字经济通过推动技术进步进而促进了经济增长收敛,且这种机制效应在后发地区表现得更为显著。

Dynamic Protection Planning and Industrial Upgrading of Shengjinta Historic Block in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province

Starting with cultural context of historic block, this paper investigated current situation of Shengjinta Historic Block in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, proposed dynamic protection planning and sustainable industrial upgrading strategies, specifically, by repairing, clearing, preserving and restoring historic streets and lanes, courtyards and folk dwel ings from six perspectives of planar layout, traffic pattern, spatial texture, facade decoration, landscape planning, and characteristic culture. In view of the specifi c geographical location, food shops and leisure green spaces are constructed to build a modern urban living system for residents in the ancient block.

介绍了C307型甲醇合成催化剂在某公司300 kt/a甲醇装置上的工业应用情况,对该装置的工艺流程、运行条件以及催化剂的物化性能、装填量、还原过程和正常生产运行进行了简要概述,并详细分析了入/出塔气氢含量、出水量、循环量、粗甲醇产量、总碳效率等运行参数。结果表明,C307型甲醇合成催化剂运行至今,日产粗甲醇最高可达1 223 t,同时产品粗甲醇中乙醇质量分数低于0.04%。C307型甲醇合成催化剂可以满足大型甲醇生产装置需求,可实现装置长周期稳定运行。
