Objective To study the changes of lymphocyte subsets and regulatory T cells in peripheral blood of patients with acute leukemia(AL) and its clinical *** The different levels of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets and regulatory T cells of 60 AL patients and 40 normal controls were detected with flow *** Compared with the normal controls,the percentages of CD3+ T cells,CD4+ T cells,CD16+CD56+ NK cells and the ratio of CD4+ /CD8+ obviously decreased in newly diagnosed AL group(P <0.05),while their percentages of CD8+ T cells and CD19+ B cells significantly increased(P <0.01).The percentage of CD4+ T cells and the ratio of CD4+ /CD8+ in acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL) group were much lower than those in acute myelogenous leukemia(AML) group(P <0.01).Compared with these in control group,the proportions of CD4+ CD25high Treg cells and CD4+ CD25+ T cells in newly diagnosed AL group were significantly increased(P <0.01).Conclusion Cellular immune function is significantly abnormal in patients with *** with AML patients,ALL patients had poorer cellular immune *** increased CD4 + CD25high Treg cells might be one of the important reasons of immunosuppression in *** of lymphocyte subsets and regulatory T cells is of clinical value on the evaluation of therapeutic effect and prognosis in AL patients.

Objective:This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the epidemiology of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions related to COVID-19 in ***:This study was conducted by 45 tertiary Grade-A hospitals in *** and offline questionnaire data were obtained from patients infected with COVID-19 between December 28,2022,and February 21,*** collected information included basic demographics,medical history,smoking and drinking history,vaccination history,changes in olfactory and gustatory functions before and after infection,and other postinfection symptoms,as well as the duration and improvement status of olfactory and gustatory ***:Complete questionnaires were obtained from 35,566 *** overall incidence of olfactory and taste dysfunction was 67.75%.Being female or being a cigarette smoker increased the likelihood of developing olfactory and taste *** received four doses of the vaccine or having good oral health or being a alcohol drinker decreased the risk of such *** infection,the average olfactory and taste VAS scores were 8.41 and 8.51,respectively;after infection,they decreased to 3.69 and 4.29 and recovered to 5.83 and 6.55 by the time of the *** median duration of dysosmia and dysgeusia was 15 and 12 days,respectively,with 0.5%of patients having symptoms lasting for more than 28 *** overall self-reported improvement rate was 59.16%.Recovery was higher in males,never smokers,those who received two or three vaccine doses,and those that had never experienced dental health issues,or chronic accompanying ***:The incidence of dysosmia and dysgeusia following infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus is high in *** and prognosis are influenced by several factors,including sex,SARS-CoV-2 vaccination,history of head-facial trauma,nasal and oral health status,smoking and drinking history,and the persistence of accompanying symptoms.

AIM: To investigate the clinical value of ultrasono-graphic diagnosis of biliary atresia (BA), a retrospective analysis of the sonogram of 20 children with BA was undertaken. METHODS: Ultrasonography (US) was performed in 20 neonates and infants with BA, which was confirmed with cholangiography by operation or abdominoscopy. The presence of triangular cord, the size and echo of liver, the changes in empty stomach gallbladder and postprandial gallbladder were observed and recorded. RESULTS: The triangular cord could be observed at the porta hepatis (thickness: 0.3-0.6 cm) in 10 cases. Smaller triangular cord (0.2-0.26 cm) can be observed in 3 cases. The gallbladder was not observed in 2 cases, and 1 case showed a streak gallbladder without capsular space. The gallbladders of 15 cases were flat and small. The gallbladders of 2 cases were of normal size and appearance, however, there was no postprandial contraction. The livers of all cases showed hepatomegaly and hetreogeneous echogenicity. Statistical analysis was performed to compare the hepatomegaly and hetreogeneous echogenicity and the stage of hepatic fibrosis. CONCLUSION: The presence of the triangular cord atthe porta hepatis is specific. However, it is not the only diagnostic criterion, since flat and small gallbladder and poor contraction are also of important diagnostic and differential diagnostic significance. The degree of hepatomegaly and hetreogeneous echogenicity is proportional with liver fibrosis, and able to indicate the duration of course and prognosis.

This study sought to elucidate the correlation between cyclinD1 expression and the emergence of neovascularization in oxygen-induced retinopathy （OIR）. OIR was induced in Sprague-Dawley 7-day-old neonatal rats exposed to hyperoxia （75% O2） for 5 days, and then returned to room air. Adenosine diphosphatase staining showed that the neovascularization started to emerge at rat age of day 14, and reached a peak at day 17, then gradually decreased and resolved by day 26. Immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence staining revealed that cyclinD1 protein expression was seen in the OIR rats at the age of day 12, then gradually increased and returned to normal levels by day 26. These experimental findings demonstrated that the temporal pattern of cyclinD1 protein expression is consistent with the emergence of retinal neovascularization.

目的探讨miR-17～92抑制质粒转染对紫衫醇耐药卵巢癌细胞的影响和作用机制，为卵巢癌耐药的研究提供理论依据。方法2011年中国医科大学附属盛京医院，病毒介导法转染miR-17～92抑制质粒，Real—timePCR及Western—Blot法检测转染前后miR-17—92及其靶基因表达，荧光素酶报告基因检测系统证明miR-17—92与靶基因3’uTR的直接结合作用。M33＇比色法及流式细胞技术检测转染后耐药卵巢癌细胞增殖及细胞周期变化。结果耐药卵巢癌细胞SKOV3-TR30中miR-17～92高表达。转染miR-17—92-PTIP—Spongeall抑制质粒于耐药卵巢癌细胞抑制miR-17—92表达使细胞增殖受到抑制，紫杉醇浓度为100nM抑制作用最明显，抑制率为40．4％，P〈0．05。不同浓度紫杉醇作用于转染的耐药细胞，使细胞阻滞在G2／M期，当其作用浓度为100nM时阻滞作用更明显，P〈0．05。抑制miR-17～92表达且随着紫衫醇浓度的增加均可使BIM蛋白表达升高，P均〈0．05，PTEN蛋白的表达虽均呈上升趋势，但均无统计学意义。结论miR-17—92是与卵巢癌耐药最相关的miRNAs之-，抑制miR-17～92基因簇表达可以抑制耐药卵巢癌细胞的增殖，其影响卵巢癌耐药的机制是通过对BIM转录后水平的调节实现的。

Dear Editor,Adult cutaneous wounds typically result in deficient regenera-tion due to abnormal fibro-proliferative responses.1 The scarring,while conducive to preventing extended infection and loss of nutrients at the injury site,can be troublesome.2 In contrast,wound healing in embryos showes lower levels of inflammation and a remarkable capacity for remodeling.3 Interestingly,the capability of fetal scarless healing is *** contrasted with the near-normal healing after the injury that occurs in the early gestational period(embryonic day 16,E16),wound healing in late gestation(embryonic day 18,E18)has prominent *** mechanisms responsible for this transition are largely unknown.

Background Parthenolide has been tested for anti-tumor activities, such as anti-proliferation and pro-apoptosis in recent studies. However, little is known about its role in the process of tumor angiogenesis. This study aims to investigate the effects and potential mechanisms of parthenolide on the proliferation, migration and lumen formation capacity of human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Methods Different concentrations of parthenolide were applied to the human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 cells. After 24-hour incubation, the culture supernatants were harvested and used to treat human umbilical vein endothelial cells for 24 hours. Then an inverted fluorescence phase contrast microscope was used to evaluate the human umbilical vein endothelial cells. The secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF）, interleukin （IL）-8 and matrix metalloproteinases （MMP）-9 in the culture supernatant of the MDA-MB-231 cells was then measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） assays. Results Suppression of proliferation, migration, and the lumen formation capacity of human umbilical vein endothelial cells was observed in the presence of the culture supernatants from the breast cancer cell line treated with different concentrations of parthenolide. Parthenolide decreased the levels of the angiogenic factors MMP-9, VEGF, and IL-8 secreted by the MDA-MB-231 cells. Conclusions Parthenolide may suppress angiogenesis through decreasing angiogenic factors secreted by breast cancer cells to interfere with the proliferation, migration and lumen-like structure formation of endothelial cells, thereby inhibiting tumor growth. It is a promising potential anti-angiogenic drug.

ANO1又称为TMEM16A,其作为钙激活的电压依赖性氯通道的分子基础之一,广泛分布于体内多种组织器官,介导了支气管腺体分泌、痛觉、肠道慢波形成等多种生理功能;同时ANO1参与了多种病理过程的发生、发展,如恶性肿瘤、炎症等。多项报导证实了恶性肿瘤发病过程中通过多种信号通路引起ANO1的高表达,继而高表达的ANO1激活不同的下游信号通路提高了肿瘤细胞的恶性生物学行为。本文主要探讨恶性肿瘤中高表达的ANO1提高肿瘤细胞恶性生物学行为的可能机制。

The imaging study of sport injury and illness in winter sports is to be developed for effective diagnosis and evaluation, which aims to stay in step with the progress in winter sports field. This will boost the development of sports promoting health strategy and advance the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
