Objective Accumulation of estrogenic compounds and other carcinogens in normal breast tissues contributes to unpredictable breast cancer incidence during adolescence and throughout *** assess the role of parabens in this phenomenon,the paraben content of adjacent normal-malignant breast tissues is measured in women with breast cancer living in Isfahan Province,*** Adjacent normal-malignant breast tissue samples were obtained from 53 *** parabens including methyl-paraben(Me PB),ethyl-paraben(Et PB),propyl-paraben(Pr PB),and butylparaben(Bu PB)were extracted from the sample supernatant and then subjected to gas chromatography *** Some risk factors for breast cancer were stimulated by parabens in adjacent malignant-normal breast tissues among young and middle-aged women with breast *** observed a significant association for dose-response pattern of Me PB[OR=98.34(11.43–185.2),P=0.027]for both ER+and PR+women and Me PB[OR=164.3(CI:112.3–216.3),P<0.001]for HER2+women than women with negative *** risk of 95-fold increase in Me PB dose and 164-fold increase in∑PBs dose were significant for women with hereditary breast cancer in first-degree *** These results may promote future epidemiology studies and strategies to improve women's lifestyle and consume paraben-free products.

Role of platelet parameters as a biomarker in diagnosis of acute appendicitis: A retrospective case-controlled study

Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of platelet parameters in acute appendicitis. Methods: This retrospective case-controlled study was performed among 200 healthy people and 200 patients with a primary diagnosis of acute appendicitis between October 2017 and June 2018. The patients were classified into three groups: the acute complicated appendicitis (suppurative and gangrenous) group, acute non-complicated appendicitis group and the control group. Red blood cell, white blood cell, lymphocyte, monocyte and platelets count, red blood cell distribution width, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean platelet volume, platelet distribution width, and C-reactive protein were compared between the groups. Results: Thirty-nine (19.5%) patients with acute appendicitis had no complication and 161 (80.5%) developed a complication. The white blood cell count, neutrophil count and C-reactive protein serum levels were significantly higher, whereas the mean age, lymphocyte count, monocyte count, red blood cell distribution width and platelet count were significantly lower in acute appendicitis patients with and without complications compared with the control group. Moreover, combined analysis of best diagnostic parameters (white blood cell, neutrophil and lymphocyte counts) showed that combined parallel sensitivity and specificity were 98.7% and 42.7%, respectively. Conclusions: White blood cell, lymphocyte counts and neutrophil count could be used for diagnosis of acute appendicitis. More over the utility of mean platelet volume for differential diagnosis might be overestimated.

Assessment of electrostatic discharge sensitivity of nitrogen-rich heterocyclic energetic compounds and their salts as high energy-density dangerous compounds: A study of structural variables

Nitrogen-rich heterocyclic energetic compounds (NRHECs) and their salts have witnessed widespread synthesis in recent years. The substantial energy-density content within these compounds can lead to potentially dangerous explosive reactions when subjected to external stimuli such as electrical discharge. Therefore, developing a reliable model for predicting their electrostatic discharge sensitivity (ESD) becomes imperative. This study proposes a novel and straightforward model based on the presence of specific groups (-NH2 or -NH-, -N = N+ -O(- )and -NNO2, -ONO2 or -NO2) under certain conditions to assess the ESD of NRHECs and their salts, employing interpretable structural parameters. Utilizing a comprehensive dataset comprising 54 ESD measurements of NRHECs and their salts, divided into 49/5 training/test sets, the model achieves promising results. The Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and Maximum Error for the training set are reported as 0.16 J, 0.12 J, and 0.5 J, respectively. Notably, the ratios RMSE(training)/RMSE(test), MAE(training)/MAE(test), and Max Error(training)/Max Error(test) are all greater than 1.0, indicating the robust predictive capabilities of the model. The presented model demonstrates its efficacy in providing a reliable assessment of ESD for the targeted NRHECs and their salts, without the need for intricate computer codes or expert involvement. Objective:High-quality and successful nursing care delivery in a variety of situations requires critical thinking training and professional *** present study aimed to investigate critical thinking disposition,professional commitment,and the relationship between these 2 variables among ***:As a result of stratified random sampling,201 nurses were enrolled in the present cross-sectional *** were gathered using a socio-demographic form,the Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory(CTDI),and the Nurses'Professional Commitment Scale(NPCS).Results:Although the critical thinking disposition scores were at a moderate level(115.70±13.55),the mean score for professional commitment was high(91.37±11.77).A positive correlation was found between critical thinking disposition and professional commitment(r=0.67,P=0.001).Conclusions:Nursing managers are urged to employ strategies to enhance nurses'critical thinking disposition and professional commitment.

Prediction of the burden of road traffic injuries in Iran by 2030: Prevalence, death,and disability-adjusted life years

A search-based identification of variable microservices for enterprise SaaS

Recently,SaaS applications are developed as a composition of microservices that serve diverse tenants having similar but different requirements,and hence,can be developed as variability-intensive *** identification of these microservices is difficult,time-consuming,and costly,since,they have to satisfy a set of quality metrics for several SaaS architecture configurations at the same *** this paper,we tackle the multi-objective optimization problem of identifying variable microservices aiming optimal granularity(new metric proposed),commonality,and data convergence,with a search-based approach employing the MOEA/D *** empirically and experimentally evaluated the proposed method following the Goal-Question-Metric *** results show that the method is promising in identifying fully consistent,highly reusable,variable microservices with an acceptable multi-tenancy ***,the identified microservices,although not structurally very similar to those identified by the expert architects,provide design quality measures(granularity,etc.)close to(and even better than)the experts.

Automating identification of services and their variability for product lines using NSGA-II

Architecture-level business services are identi- fied based on business processes; and likewise, in service- oriented product lines, identifying the domain architecture- level business services and their variability is preferred to be based on business processes and their variability. Identifica- tion of business services for a product line satisfying a set of given design metrics （such as cohesion and coupling） is ex- tremely difficult for a domain architect, since there are many product configurations for which the services must be proper at the same time. This means that the identified services must have proper values for n metrics in m different configura- tions at the same time. The problem becomes more serious when there are high degrees of variability and complexity embedded in the business processes that are the basis for ser- vice identification. We contribute to solve the multi-objective optimization problem of identifying business services for a product line by partitioning the graph of a business process variability model utilizing Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-II. The service specification is achieved based on the results of the partitioning. The variability of the services is then determined in terms of mandatory and optional services as well as variability relationships, which are all represented in a Service Variability Model. The method was empirically evaluated through experimentation, and showed proper lev- els of reusability and variability. Furthermore, the resulting models were fully consistent.
