Five organotin（IV） complexes, were obtained by reaction of SnR2C12 （R = Ph, Me, Bu） with ONO donor Schiff bases. The synthesized complexes have been investigated by elemental analysis and IR, 1H NMR, and ll9Sn NMR spectroscopy. These data show that the Schiff base acts as a tridentate dianionic ligand and coordinates via the imine nitrogen and two oxygen atoms. The X- ray crystallography of complex 4 shows a dimeric structure for this molecule. The in vitro antibacterial activities of the Schiff bases and their complexes have been evaluated against Gram-positive （Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus） and Gram-negative （Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa） bacteria and compared with the standard antibacterial drugs.

Rain-fed fig culture is known to provide a good quality of dried figs, while almost no research has been reported so far on the enzyme activity comparisons of seasonal variations among terminal buds in this plant. Toward this goal, we evaluated the physiochemical changes of terminal buds of fig 'Sabz' and their micromorphology during the dormant season(November to April) using Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) analysis during two consecutive years(2016 and 2017). Results indicated that the highest contents of total sugars in terminal fig buds were registered in January and the lowest values were noticed in April. SEM analysis showed the presence of vegetative terminal fig buds during the dormant season and after bud-break in April. An increasing trend was observed for the protein content, length and diameter of terminal buds at the beginning of bud-break. In dormant buds, ascorbate peroxidase, peroxidase and catalase enzymes exhibited initially an ascending pattern,while it decreased from December. A second increase for these enzymes occurred during the dormant season until bud-break. Superoxide dismutase activity increased in buds during the dormancy season until bud-break. Proline content remained stable in buds from November to February, while it decreased rapidly until bud-break. Furthermore, a downward trend of the total phenol content in buds was observed between the onset and end of dormant period. In general, the dormant buds in 'Sabz' fig cultivar were metabolically active with a short dormant period under the rain-fed conditions.

In this study, a flow solver was developed based on the governing RANS equations of compressible flows and was further extended to include the effects of electromagnetic forces namely Lorentz forces. Lorentz forces may be added as a source term in the governing fluid flow equations. Numerical studies were carried out for NACA0015 aerofoil at high angles of incidences from 15° to 30° and compared with some available cases of experimental and incompressible numerical solutions. The hydrodynamics performance was improved using a magnetic momentum coefficient of up to 0.048. The size of flow separation zone was decreased or completely eliminated by increasing this coefficient. The overall drag was not changed considerably, however the overall lift was increased up to 80 percent at stall angles.

Objectives:Colour is amongst the parameter which is used for process control during *** and Methods:In this study,the effects of hot air roasting temperature(120,130,145,160,and 170°C)and hot air velocity(0.6,1.3,and 2 m/s)on colour change kinetics of pistachio nuts were investigated by employing image analysis and simultaneously chlorophylls and xanthophylls(lutein andβ-carotenoid)concentration were determined by spectrophotometric measurement ***:We found that roasting temperature and hot air velocity had significant effect on colour *** is a correlation between a-and b-value with chlorophylls and xanthophylls concentration,*** roasting temperature was found to be the main factor affecting colour *** variations in the pigments concentration and colour parameters of pistachio nuts were adequately simulated by quadratic and cubic *** changes in L-,b-values,and xanthophylls degradation were well-fitted to the first-order kinetic model while a-value and chlorophylls degradation followed the zero-order *** activation energy was determined at 113.9,116.7,and 117.2 kJ/mol with R2≥99.9 and 191,195,and 163.2 kJ/mol with R2≥99.5 and 73.7,71.3,and 81.6 kJ/mol with R2≥99.9 for L-,b-,and a-value in hot air velocity of 0.6,1.3,and 2 m/s,***:Activation energy of chlorophylls and xanthophylls degradation were in the range of the activation energy for the yellowness(b-value)and redness(a-value)reactions.

Objective:Different studies have been performed on the prevalence of tick-borne pathogens in different areas of Iran;however,as far as our knowledge,there is no regional meta-analysis available for consideration and estimation of tick species infected with different pathogens in ***:In this review,among different databases,a total of 95 publications were included,and the infection of different tick species to different tick-borne pathogens was determined;furthermore,presence of pathogens(with 95%confidence intervals)in tick vectors was calculated separately for each province,using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis version 2(Biostat,USA).Results:Totally,among all 95 studies,5673 out of 33521 investigated ticks were positive according to different detection *** estimated presence of pathogens in tick vectors in Iran was 8.6%(95%CI 7.0%-10.6%,P<0.001).Of all 46 species of ticks in 10 genera in Iran,28 species in 9 genera,including Alveonasus,Argas,Boophilus,Dermacentor,Haemaphysalis,Hyalomma,Ixodes,Ornithodoros,and Rhipicephalus were infected with at least 20 pathogens in 10 genera including Aegyptianella,Anaplasma,Babesia,Borrelia,Brucella,Orthonairovirus[CrimeanCongo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV)],Coxiella,Ehrlichia,Rickettsia and Theileria in 26 provinces of *** presence of pathogens in ticks collected in western Iran was more than other *** anatolicum(20.35%),Rhipicephalus sanguineus(15.00%),and Rhipicephalus bursa(14.08%)were the most prevalent infected ticks for different *** addition,most literatures were related to CCHFV and Theileria/Babesia ***:Public health and veterinary professionals should be aware of diagnosing possible diseases or outbreaks in vertebrates.

Nutrient patterns and risk of cataract：a case-control study

AIM：To assess the relation between nutrient patterns and cataract ***：This is a hospital-based case-control study with 97 cataract patients and 198 matched *** consumption was collected through a valid food frequency questionnaire（FFQ）.Nutrient patterns were detected by applying factor *** logistic regression models were used to estimate odds ratio（ORs） and 95%***：We extracted 5 main nutrient *** 1 included niacin,thiamin,carbohydrates,protein,zinc,vitamin B6 and sodium（sodium pattern）.Factor 2 was characterized by oleic acid,monounsaturated fats,polyunsaturated fats,linoleic acid,trans fatty acid,linolenic acid,vitamin E and saturated fats（fatty acid pattern）.The third factor represented high intake of vitamin B12,vitamin D,cholesterol and calcium（mixed pattern）.The 4^（th） pattern was high in intake of beta and alpha carotene,vitamin A and vitamin C（antioxidant pattern）.Finally,the 5^（th） pattern loaded heavily on docosahexaenoic acid（DHA） and eicosapentaenoic acid（EPA）（omega-3 pattern）.In crude and multivariate analysis,the sodium pattern was associated with increased risk of cataract（OR=1.97,95%CI：1.09-3.96）.The fatty acid pattern elevated the risk of cataract（OR=1.94,95%CI：1.1-3.86）.Antioxidant pattern was associated with a significant 79% reduced risk（2^（nd） category compared with the 1st）.Omega-3 pattern was significantly negatively associated with risk of cataract（P=0.04）.CONCLUSION：These findings imply that nutrient patterns reflecting a combined consumption of nutrients might be important in the etiology of *** studies with more efficient designs are warranted to confirm our findings.

A novel design of a two-channel optical add-drop multiplexer based on a self-rolled-up microtube （SRM） is presented. This design consists of an SRM that has a parabolic lobe-like pattern along the tube＇s axial direction, as well as straight silicon waveguides and a 180° waveguide bend. The vertical configuration of the SRM and waveguides is analyzed by the coupled mode theory for achieving the optinmm gap. In the critical coupling regime, when the device serves as an optical demultiplexer, the minimum insertion loss is 1.94 dB, and the maximunl channel crosstalk is -6.036 dB. Also, as an optical multiplexer, the maximum crosstalk becomes -11.9 dB.

Objective:To determine the suitable ecological habitats of Aedes(Ae.)aegypti and *** in Iran due to climate change by the ***:All data relating to the spatial distribution of *** and *** worldwide,which indicated the geographical coordinates of the collection sites of these mosquitoes,were extracted from online scientific websites and entered into an Excel *** effect of climatic and environmental variables on these mosquitoes was evaluated using the MaxEnt model in the current and future climatic conditions in the 2030s,2050s,and ***:The most suitable areas for the establishment of *** are located in the southern and northern coastal areas of Iran,based on the model *** modelling result for suitable ecological niches of *** shows that in the current climatic conditions,the southern half of Iran from east to west,and parts of the northern coasts are prone to the presence of this *** the future,some regions,such as Gilan and Golestan provinces,will have more potential to exist/establish ***,according to the different climate change scenarios,suitable habitats for this species will gradually change to the northwest and west of the *** temperature of the wettest season of the year(Bio8)and average annual temperature(Bio1)were the most effective factors in predicting the model for *** and ***,***:It is required to focus on entomological studies using different collection methods in the vulnerable areas of *** future modelling results can also be used for long-term planning to prevent the entry and establishment of these invasive Aedes vectors in the country.

Objective： Since appropriate and time- table methods in trauma care have an important impact on patients＇ outcome, we evaluated the effect of Advanced Trauma Life Support （ATLS） program on medical interns＇ performance in simulated trauma patient management. Methods： A descriptive and analytical study before and after the training was conducted on 24 randomly se- lected undergraduate medical interns from Imam Reza Hospital in Mashhad, Iran. On the first day, we assessed in- terns＇ clinical knowledge and their practical skill performance in confronting simulated trauma patients. After 2 days of ATLS training, we performed the same study and evaluated their score again on the fourth day. The two findings, pre- and post- ATLS periods, were compared through SPSS version 15.0 software. P values less than 0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results： Our findings showed that interns＇ ability in all the three tasks improved after the training course. On the fourth day after training, there was a statistically significant increase in interns＇ clinical knowledge of ATLS procedures, the sequence of procedures and skill performance in trauma situations （P〈0.001, P=0.016 and P=0.01 respectively）. Conclusion： ATLS course has an important role in increasing clinical knowledge and practical skill performance of trauma care in medical interns.

In this paper functionalized multiwall carbon nanotubes (FMWCNT) were modified using atenolol as a class of drugs that were used in cardiovascular diseases containing reactable nitrogen, which could attach chemically to functionalized MWCNT. This product was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopy. These spectrums proved the existence of nitrogen atoms of amide due to new functional group. The morphology were also determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and showed that this product was synthesized in the nanometer dimension. Thermal gravimetery (TGA) analysis was also used to evaluate thermal properties.
