Com.rehensive studies identify m.tor neuron spectrum.disorders including am.otrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)as globally rising fatal disorders with the highest prevalence in aging populations,influenced by ethnicity and ancestry(GBD 2016 m.tor Neuron Disease Colla borators,2018).While~10% of diagnoses involve a fam.ly history(fALS),m.st cases are considered sporadic(sALS).However,population-based studies suggest that even cases without a com.on index m.tation im.art heritability(Ryan et al.,2019),indicating a crucial role of rare and as yet unknown genetic denom.nators.

With increasing attention given to the developm.nt and im.lem.ntation of psychological interventions during the sport injury rehabilitation process,there is a need to docum.nt the effectiveness of these *** purpose of this review was to sum.arize the em.irical findings of the effects of psychological interventions in reducing post-injury psychological consequences and im.roving psychological coping during the injury rehabilitation process am.ng com.etitive and recreational *** February 2012,utilizing a com.rehensive search strategy,we conducted electronic searches of m.ltiple electronic databases for random.zed and nonrandom.zed control trials that evaluated interventions targeting populations of injured com.etitive and recreational athletes age 17 years and *** included interventions that directly intervene on injured athletes’ psychological outcom.s(e.g.,psychological consequences,psychological coping and re-injury anxiety) and utilized psychological strategies including im.gery,goal-setting,relaxation,and other com.on techniques during the post-injury rehabilitation *** studies,described in seven peer-reviewed published articles,m.t study inclusion criteria and were included in this *** those studies,two included random.zed control trials,two used before and after study designs and two were case study *** interventions utilized guided im.gery and relaxation,two interventions utilized goal-setting and one each utilized m.crocounseling,written disclosure,and acceptance and com.itm.nt *** im.gery/relaxation was shown to be associated with im.roved psychological coping and reduced re-injury anxiety. Ni/SiO2-ZrO2 catalysts with Ni loadings of 1 to 13 wt-% were prepared, characterized by elem.ntal analysis, X-ray diffraction, N2 sorption, tem.erature program.ed oxidation, tem.erature program.ed reduc- tion, and tested for their activity and stability in the dry reform.ng of m.thane with carbon dioxide at 850 ℃, gas hourly space velocity of 6000 and 1800 h^-1 and atm.- spheric pressure. The SiO2-ZrO2 support as obtained through a sim.le and efficient sol-gel synthesis is highly porous （ABET = 90 m.·g^-1, dp= 4.4 nm. with a hom.geneously distributed Si-content of 3 wt-%. No loss of Si or form.tion ofm.noclinic ZrO2, even after steam.ng at 850 ℃ for 160 h, was detectable. The catalyst with 5 wt-% Ni loading in its fully reduced state is stable over 15 h on-stream.in the dry reform.ng reaction. If the catalyst was not fully reduced, a reduction during the early stages of dry reform.ng is accom.anied by the deposition of up to 44 m.· g^-1 carbon as shown by experim.nts in a m.gnetic suspension balance. Rapid coking occurs for increased residence tim.s and tim.s-on-stream.starting at 50 h. The Ni loading of 5 wt-% on SiO2-ZrO2 was shown to provide an optim.l balance between activity and coking tendency.

The strawberry Fra a I allergen is a hom.log of the m.jor birch pollen allergen Bet v 1. It is synthesized by red ripe fruits of Fragaria x ananassa while white fruits of a m.tant genotype, which is known to be tolerated by individuals affected by allergy, are devoid of it. Proteom.c analyses have shown that Fra a 1 is down-regulated in the tolerated white- fruited genotype along with enzym.s of the anthocyanin pigm.nt pathway. In this study, we report the spatial and tem. poral expression of three Fra a genes that encode different isoform., and the transient RNAi-m.diated silencing of the Fra a genes in strawberry fruits of the red-fruited cultivar Elsanta with an ihpRNA construct. As a consequence of reduced levels of Fra a m.NAs, fruits were obtained that produced significantly decreased levels of anthocyanins and upstream.m.tabolites. This effect is consistent with the parallel down-regulation of the phenylalanine am.onia lyase （FaPAL） and to a lesser extent of the chalcone synthase （FaCHS） transcript levels also found in these fruits. In naturally occurring white- fruited genotypes of F. chiloensis and F. vesca, Fra a transcript levels are higher than those of the red-fruited varieties, likely to com.ensate for the low expression levels of FaPAL and FaCHS in these m.tant genotypes. The results dem.nstrate that Fra a expression is directly linked to flavonoid biosynthesis and show that the Fra a allergen has an essential biological function in pigm.nt form.tion in strawberry fruit.

Clim.te warm.ng is expected to advance treelines to higher elevations. However, em.irical studies in diverse m.untain ranges give evidence of both advancing alpine treelines as well as rather insignificant responses. In this context, we aim.at investigating the sensitivity and responsiveness of the near-natural treeline ecotone in Rolwaling Him.l, Nepal, to clim.te warm.ng. We analysed population densities of tree species along the treeline ecotone from.closed forest stands via the krum.holz belt to alpine dwarf shrub heaths （3700-4200 m. at 50 plots in 2013 and 2014. We quantified species - environm.nt relationships, i.e. the change of environm.ntal conditions （e.g., nutrient and therm.l deficits, plant interactions） across the ecotone by m.ans of redundancy analyses, variation partitioning and distance-based m.ran＇s eigenvector m.ps. In particular, we focus on explaining the high com.etitiveness of Rhododendron cam.anulatum.form.ng a dense krum.holz belt and on the im.lications for the responsiveness of Him.layan krum.holz treelines to clim.te change. Results indicate that treeline trees in the ecotone show species-specific responses to the influence of environm.ntal param.ters, and that juvenile and adult tree responses are m.dulated by environm.ntal constraints in differing intensity. m.reover, the species - environm.nt relationships suggest that the investigated krum.holz belt will largely prevent the upward m.gration of other tree constrain the future response species and thus of Him.layan krum.holz treelines to clim.te warm.ng.

Under consideration is a nonclassical stationary problem.on heat conduction in a body with the pre-set surface tem.erature and heat flow. The body contains inclusions at unknown locations and with unknown boundaries. The body and inclusions have different constant therm.l conductivities. The author explores the possibility of locating inclusions. The article presents an integral criterion based on which a few statem.nts on identification of inclusions in a body are proved.
