Tens of thousands of people worldwide became infected with syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2).Death rate in general population is about 1%-6%,but this rate rises up to 15%in those with *** publications showed that the clinical progression of this disease in organ recipients is more destructive,with a fatality rate of up to 14%-25%.We aimed to review the effect of pandemic on various transplantation *** disease 2019(COVID-19)has not only interrupted waiting list patients’lives;it has also impacted transplantation strategies,transplant surgeries and broke donation ***-19 was directly and indirectly accountable for 73%surplus in mortality of this population as compared to wait listed patients in earlier *** impact of chronic immunosuppression on outcomes of COVID-19 remains unclear but understanding the immunological mechanisms related to the virus is critically important for the lifetime of transplantation and immune suppressed *** is hard to endorse changing anti-rejection therapy,as the existing data appraised is not adequate to advise substituting tacrolimus with cyclosporine during severe COVID-19 disease.

We use a unitary coupled-channel model to study the DAc-D∑c interactions. In our calculation, SU（3）flavor symmetry is applied to determine the coupling constants. Several resonant and bound states with different spin and parity are dynamically generated in the mass range of the recently observed pentaquarks. The approach is also extended to the hidden beauty sector to study the BΛb-B∑b interactions. As the b-quark mass is heavier than the c-quark mass, there are more resonances observed for the BΛb-B∑b interactions and they are more tightly bound.

The Ukwortung area of the Obudu Plateau exposes high-grade metamorphic rocks of upper amphibolite to granulite facies. Zircon grains from three locations of Southwest Obudu Plateau were dated by the Pb-Pb dating method. This single zircon radiometric dating method confirms the occurrence of Mesoproterozoic crust in the southeastern Nigeria basement complex. The pyroxene gneiss (granulite facies) sample from Biereberi near Ukpe yielded a mean age of 2061.4±0.4 Ma, suggesting the presence of Paleoproterozoic crust. The combined 207Pb/206Pb ratios from the garnet-biotite gneiss in the area gave a mean age of 1794.4±0.4 Ma. This further confirms the pres-ence of Paleoproterozoic crustal components within the Obudu Plateau. The Mesoproterozoic (1548.8±0.5 Ma) and Neoproterozoic (619.8±0.9 Ma) ages were obtained from two populations of zircon grains from the leucogranite in Okordem, Southwest Obudu. These "signatures" collaborate the occurrence of Mesoproterozoic ages in the Afar region and Cameroon basements along with the southeastern Nigerian basement complex, constituting the major portion of the West Central African mobile belt. The zircon age of 1794.4±0.4 Ma may probably be the maximum depositional age of the meta-sediment (garnet-biotite gneiss) and the age of 1548.8±0.5 Ma may be interpreted as the time of emplacement of the granitoid. The Neoproterozoic age (619.8±0.9 Ma) probably records the metamorphic event that was prevalent during the Pan-African period and thus affected the area.

Analysis of the short-circuit characteristics of SiC metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors(MOSFETs)is very important for their practical *** paper studies the SiC MOSFET short-circuit characteristics with an improved test setup under different conditions.A high-current Si insulated gate bipolar transistor is used as a circuit breaker in the test circuit rather than the usual short-circuit test conducted without a circuit *** test platform with a circuit breaker does not influence the calculation results regarding the shortcircuitwithstand time and energy,but the SiCMOSFETwill switch off after failure in a very short *** addition,the degree of failure will be limited and confined to a small area,such that the damage to the chip will be clearly observable,which is significant for short-circuit failure analysis.

We present a novel approach for real-time rendering Loop subdivision surfaces on modern graphics hardware. Our algorithm evaluates both positions and normals accurately, thus providing the true Loop subdivision surface. The core idea is to recursively refine irregular patches using a GPU compute kernel. All generated regular patches are then directly evaluated and rendered using tile hardware tessellation unit. Our approach handles triangular control meshes of arbitrary topologies and incorporates common subdivision surface features such as semi-sharp creases and hierarchical edits. While surface rendering is accurate up to machine precision, we also enforce a consistent bitwise evaluation of positions and normals at patch boundaries. This is particularly useful in the context of displacement mapping which strictly requires inatching surface normals. Furthermore, we incorporate efficient level-of-detail rendering where subdivision depth and tessellation density can be adjusted on-the-fly. Overall, our algorithm provides high-quality results at real-time frame rates, thus being ideally suited to interactive rendering applications such as video games or authoring tools.

The recently emergent disease caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),transmitted by droplets and aerosols,was named coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)by World Health ***,the disease progress is asymptomatic or mild,but one-fifth of the patients advance to severe or critical *** severe COVID-19 patients,type-2 T helper cells release numerous cytokines;this excessive immune response is named as cytokine *** cytokine storm,which is the hallmark of the COVID-19 induced by the disease and aggravates due to lack of proper immune response,similar to SARS and Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS),and the disease status may progress forward to acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS),systemic inflammatory response syndrome,multi-organ dysfunction syndrome,and *** stromal cell transplantation is up-and-coming in treating many diseases such as HIV,hepatitis B,influenza,coronavirus diseases(SARS,MERS),lung injuries,and *** closer inspection on respiratory diseases,COVID-19,influenza,SARS,and MERS have similarities in patho-genesis,especially cytokine and immune response *** comparable features in terms of the cytokine storm will provide hints for the treatment of COVID-19.

Comparison of subconjunctivally injected bevacizumab, ranibizumab, and pegaptanib for inhibition of corneal neovascularization in a rat model

AIM: To compare the efficacies of subconjunctival bevacizumab, ranibizumab, and pegaptanib sodium injections for the inhibition of corneal neovascularization in an experimental rat model. METHODS: Sixteen corneas of 16 rats were chemically cauterized and randomized into four groups: bevacizumab group that treated with 0.05mL/1.25mg bevacizumab, ranibizumab group that treated with 0.05mL/0.5mg ranibizumab, pegaptanib group that treated with 0.05mL/0.15mg pegaptanib sodium, and control group that treated with 0.05mL saline solution. Digital photographs of the corneas were taken and analyzed using an image analysis software program. All corneas were excised and examined histologically on the 15 th day. RESULTS: Each treatment group had significantly less neovascularized corneal areas and fewer blood vessels than the control group (all P 0.05). CONCLUSION: Subconjunctival bevacizumab, ranibiz-umab, and pegaptanib sodium were effective with no corneal epitheliopathy for inhibiting corneal neovascularization after corneal burn in rats .Bevacizumab was more effective than ranibizumab and pegaptanib sodium.
