Objec.ive:To assess the antioxidant ac.ivity of Fic.s pseudopalma Blanc.(Morac.ae)(***) and c.arac.erize the ac.ive c.mponents present in ***:c.lumn c.romatography of c.ude ethanol leaf extrac. of *** was performed and seven frac.ions were obtained,labeled as Ft.F2,F3,F4.F5,F6,***,c.iess,Kenton and superoxide radic.l sc.venging assays were performed to assess the antioxidant ability of the *** layer c.romatography(TLc.,high performanc. liquid c.romatography and Fourier transfer infrared spec.rosc.py(FTIR) were performed to identify and c.arac.erize the bioac.ive c.mponent present in eac. frac.ions of ***:DPPH and FRAP assay showed that F5.F6 and F7 exhibited the good proton ac.epting ability and reduc.ng power as c.mpared to the other *** frac.ions exhibited a good nitric.oxide radic.l sc.venging ac.ivity wherein F1,F2 and F3 showed the highest ***,all of the frac.ions exhibited a stimulatory ac.ivity on hydroxyl and superoxide *** matc.ed one of the spots on the thin layer c.romatography c.romatogram of the *** gradient high performanc. liquid c.romatography and spiking of lupeol with the frac.ion revealed the presenc. of 5.84 mg/L lupeol in *** spec.ra of the frac.ions revealed the presenc. of c.c.OH,aromatic.c.c.and c.O ***:The identified lupeol in *** may be responsible for the exhibited antioxidant property of the ***,knowing the antioxidant c.pability of the plant,*** c.n be developed into produc.s whic. c.n help prevent the oc.urrenc. of oxidative stress related diseases.

This study presents a transfer learning approac. for disc.vering potential Mg-based superc.nduc.ors utilizing a c.mprehensive target ***,a large sourc. dataset(Bandgap dataset)c.mprising approximately∼75k c.mpounds is utilized for pretraining,followed by fine-tuning with a smaller c.itic.l Temperature(T_(c.)dataset c.ntaining∼300 ***,there is a signific.nt improvement in the performanc. of the transfer learning model over the traditional deep learning(DL)model in predic.ing ***,the transfer learning model is applied to predic. the properties of approximately 150k *** are validated c.mputationally using density func.ional theory(DFT)c.lc.lations based on lattic. dynamic.-related ***,to demonstrate the extended predic.ive c.pability of the transfer learning model for new materials,a pool of virtual c.mpounds derived from prototype c.ystal struc.ures from the Materials Projec.(MP)database is generated.T_(c. predic.ions are obtained for∼3600 virtual c.mpounds,whic. underwent sc.eening for elec.roneutrality and thermodynamic.*** Extra Trees-based model is trained to utilize E_(hull)values to obtain thermodynamic.lly stable materials,employing a dataset c.ntaining Ehull values for approximately 150k materials for *** with Ehull values exc.eding 5 meV/atom were filtered out,resulting in a refined list of potential Mg-based *** study showc.ses the effec.iveness of transfer learning in predic.ing superc.nduc.ing properties and highlights its potential for ac.elerating the disc.very of Mg-based materials in the field of superc.nduc.ivity.

Urban ec.systems are evolutionarily rec.nt novel environments ac.ing as biodiversity *** birds are c.nsidered suc.essful urban adapters mainly due to their generalist feeding and opportunistic.behavior,allowing them to oc.upy environments from c.ld temperate to dry xeric.***,it is important to understand how these spec.es interac. in the urban *** studied the interannual(2013–2016)abundanc. of the White-fronted Parrot(Amazona albifrons)in the Neotropic.l c.ties of Xalapa and c.atepec.in c.ntral Verac.uz,Mé***,we studied the feeding ec.logy during 13 months of 6 parrot spec.es detec.ed in the c.ty of *** abundanc. of the White-fronted Parrot was signific.ntly higher in Xalapa than in c.atepec.and it was homogeneous ac.oss ***-native plants represented 30–41%of Psittac.dae diets in Xalapa,where seeds were the most c.mmonly c.nsumed *** rec.rded the highest Psittac.dae spec.es ric.ness and highest diet overlap among spec.es by the end of the dry season(April–May).The White-fronted Parrot had the highest plant ric.ness in its diet,followed by the Monk Parakeet(Myiopsitta monac.us)and the Green Parakeet(Psittac.ra holoc.lorus);yet,the White-fronted Parrot had a spec.alized diet dominated by two plant spec.es(Grevillea robusta and Fic.s aurea).The diet overlap among the three above-mentioned parrot spec.es was not signific.ntly different to a null model,where the White-fronted Parrot and the Monk Parakeet overlapped during the months of February,April,June,and *** White-fronted Parrot is an urban adapter that has suc.essfully expanded its geographic.range via natural means and by human *** invasive Monk Parakeet is c.rrently restric.ed to one park in Xalapa,and it has remained in that stage for many years(i.e.,pre-expansion phase).Exotic.plant spec.es in Xalapa represent∼55%of the woody vegetation,some of whic. have longer flowering and fruiting periods that may have aided the s

We experimentally study the transport properties of dipolar and fundamental modes on one dimensional(1D) c.upled waveguide arrays. By c.refully modulating a wide optic.l beam, we are able to effec.ively exc.te dipolar or fundamental modes to study disc.ete diffrac.ion(single-site exc.tation) and gaussian beam propagation(multi-site exc.tation plus a phase gradient). We observe that dipolar modes experienc. a larger spreading area due to an effec.ive larger c.upling c.nstant, whic. is found to be more than two times larger than the one for fundamental modes. Additionally, we study the effec. of non-diagonal disorder and find that while fundamental modes are already trapped on a weakly disorder array, dipoles are still able to propagate ac.oss the system.

The analysis of the systematic.transitions in the forested landsc.pe and the study of the forest fragmentation patterns allow us to deepen our understanding of the c.anges in the vegetation ground c.ver. The importanc. of knowing the intric.te patterns of the land usage of the upper basin of the Amazon region is widely rec.gnized. This zone is one of the most diverse biologic.l areas in the world, is home to large areas of mature tropic.l c.oud forest and demonstrates high probabilities of stable c.imatic.c.nditions in light of global warming. The researc. quan- tiffed systematic.transitions through the ＂loss＂ and ＂gain＂ of the different c.tegories of landsc.pe during the eighteen-year study period of the Ec.adorian Amazon Region （EAR）, the forest fragmentation patterns were also analyzed based on a set of indic.tors. Therefore, with respec. to the entirety of the landsc.pe, the results registered for the ground c.verage in forested areas during the first period （1990-2000）, show a dec.ease of 6.99% and an inc.ease of 0.68%; and during the sec.nd period （2000-2008）, show a dec.ease of 3.99% and an inc.ease of 2.14%. It demonstrated that forest and agric.ltural areas tended to replac. or be replac.d by herbac.ous vegetation faster than expec.ed fortuitously. Finally, the indic.s of fragmentation signaled intense c.anges during the 1990-2000 period with a reduc.ion during the period 2000-2008. Per- c.ntages registered in the Largest Patc. Index （LPI） were between 79.58%; 52.39% and 49.99% respec.ively; while the Patc. Density （PD） varied between 0.04; 0.06 and 0.07. This suggests the propensity of for- est c.ver to remain intac.. The results of this investigation suggest a tendenc. towards stability in Ec.ador＇s Amazon landsc.pe. Within the framework for development and management of this area, the tendenc. is natural regeneration.
