Recombinant interleukin-33(IL-33)inhibits tumor growth,but the detailed immunological mechanism is still ***-33-mediated tumor suppression did not occur in Batf3^(−/−)mice,indicating that conventional type 1 dendritic cells(cDC1s)play a key role in IL-33-mediated antitumor immunity.A population of CD103^(+)cDC1s,which were barely detectable in the spleens of normal mice,increased significantly in the spleens of IL-33-treated *** newly emerged splenic CD103^(+)cDC1s were distinct from conventional splenic cDC1s based on their spleen residency,robust effector T-cell priming ability,and surface expression of *** and DC precursors did not express Suppressor of Tumorigenicity 2(ST2).However,recombinant IL-33 induced spleen-resident FCGR3^(+)CD103^(+)cDC1s,which were found to be differentiated from DC precursors by bystander ST2+immune *** immune cell fractionation and depletion assays,we found that IL-33-primed ST2^(+)basophils play a crucial role in the development of FCGR3^(+)CD103^(+)cDC1s by secreting IL-33-driven extrinsic *** GM-CSF also induced the population of CD103^(+)cDC1s,but the population neither expressed FCGR3 nor induced any discernable antitumor *** population of FCGR3^(+)CD103^(+)cDC1s was also generated in vitro culture of Flt3L-mediated bone marrow-derived DCs(FL-BMDCs)when IL-33 was added in a pre-DC stage of ***-BMDCs generated in the presence of IL-33(FL-33-DCs)offered more potent tumor immunotherapy than control Flt3L-BMDCs(FL-DCs).Human monocyte-derived DCs were also more immunogenic when exposed to IL-33-induced *** findings suggest that recombinant IL-33 or an IL-33-mediated DC vaccine could be an attractive protocol for better tumor immunotherapy.

Atomic layer deposition of ultrathin layered TiO_2 on Pt/C cathode catalyst for extended durability in polymer electrolyte fuel cells

This study shows the preparation of a TiO2 coated Pt/C（TiO2/Pt/C） by atomic layer deposition（ALD）,and the examination of the possibility for TiO2/Pt/C to be used as a durable cathode catalyst in polymer electrolyte fuel cells（PEFCs）. Cyclic voltammetry results revealed that TiO2/Pt/C catalyst which has 2 nm protective layer showed similar activity for the oxygen reduction reaction compared to Pt/C catalysts and they also had good durability. TiO2/Pt/C prepared by 10 ALD cycles degraded 70% after 2000 Accelerated degradation test, while Pt/C corroded 92% in the same conditions. TiO2 ultrathin layer by ALD is able to achieve a good balance between the durability and activity, leading to TiO2/Pt/C as a promising cathode catalyst for PEFCs. The mechanism of the TiO2 protective layer used to prevent the degradation of Pt/C is discussed.

Electrochemical water treatment is an attractive technology for water desalination and softening due to its low energy consumption. Especially, capacitive Deionization(CDI) is promising as a future technology for water treatment. Graphene(rGO) has been intensively studied for CDI electrode because of its advantages such as excellent electrical conductivity and high specific surface area. However, its 2D dimensional structure with small specific capacitance, high resistance between layers and hydrophobicity degrades ion adsorption efficiency. In this work, we successfully prepared uniformly dispersed Fe3O4/rGO nanocomposite by simple thermal reactions and applied it as effective electrodes for CDI. Iron oxides play a role in uniting graphene sheets, and specific capacitance and wettability of electrodes are improved significantly;hence CDI performances are enhanced. The hardness removal of Fe3O4/rGO nanocomposite electrodes can reach 4.3 mg/g at applied voltage of 1.5V, which is 3 times higher than that of separate r GO *** this material is a promising candidate for water softening technology.

In this study,a process for establishing design requirements and selecting alternative configurations for the conceptual phase of aircraft design has been *** proposed process uses system-engineering-based requirement-analysis techniques such as objective tree,analytic hierarchy process,and quality function deployment to establish logical and quantitative ***,in order to perform a logical selection of alternative aircraft configurations,it uses advanced decision-making methods such as morphological matrix and technique for order preference by similarity to the ideal *** addition,a preliminary sizing tool has been developed to check the feasibility of the established performance requirements and to evaluate the flight performance of the selected *** present process has been applied for a two-seater very light aircraft（VLA）,resulting in a set of tentative design requirements and two families of VLA configurations：a high-wing configuration and a low-wing *** resulting set of design requirements consists of three categories：customer requirements,certification requirements,and performance *** performance requirements include two mission requirements for the flight range and the endurance by reflecting the customer *** flight performances of the two configuration families were evaluated using the sizing tool developed and the low-wing configuration with conventional tails was selected as the best baseline configuration for the VLA.

Introduction: Delay in recognizing newborn health problems and delay in accessing quality care contribute to a high number of newborn deaths. The objective of this work was to study the practice of essential newborn care. Patients and method: This was a descriptive study on critical care newborns at the referral health Center of the Commune 5 (CSRéf C5) Bamako from 1st April to 31 May 2018. The acquisition, processing and data analysis were done on SPSS software. Results: The average age of the patients was 24.8 years. They were out of school and knew about the importance of prenatal consultations (83.3%). The majority of health workers were Nurses and Obstetricians (59.3%). The effective care (100%) given to the newborns was anthropometric measurements of the newborn and identification of the newborn. Treatments such as stimulated drying, skin-to-skin contact, warming, and administration of vitamin K1 were each administered at over 90%. The fight against heat loss by the head (14.1%) and early latching (41.5%) were insufficiently administered. Cord care was not provided at the Hospital prior to discharge for contextual reasons. The administration of ocular antiseptics was not administered in the hospital. Conclusion: The administration of essential newborn care at the referral health Center of the Commune 5 in Bamako has shortcomings.

To expand the single-dose duration over which noninvasive clinical and preclinical cancer imaging can be conducted with high sensitivity,and well-defined spatial and temporal resolutions,a facile strategy to prepare ultrasmall nanoparticulate X-ray contrast media(nano-XRCM)as dual-modality imaging agents for positron emission tomography(PET)and computed tomography(CT)has been *** from controlled copolymerization of triiodobenzoyl ethyl acrylate and oligo(ethylene oxide)acrylate monomers,the amphiphilic statistical iodocopolymers(ICPs)could directly dissolve in water to afford thermodynamically stable solutions with high aqueous iodine concentrations(>140 mg iodine/mL water)and comparable viscosities to conventional small molecule *** formation of ultrasmall iodinated nanoparticles with hydrodynamic diameters of ca.10 nm in water was confirmed by dynamic and static light scattering *** a breast cancer mouse model,in vivo biodistribution studies revealed that the64Cu-chelator-functionalized iodinated nano-XRCM exhibited extended blood residency and higher tumor accumulation compared to typical small molecule imaging ***/CT imaging of tumor over 3 days showed good correlation between PET and CT signals,while CT imaging allowed continuous observation of tumor retention even after 10 days post-injection,enabling longitudinal monitoring of tumor retention for imaging or potentially therapeutic effect after a single administration of nano-XRCM.

Heavy thickness steel plates with a good combination of strength,toughness and weldability have been demanded for building of large container *** strength steel plates with heavy gauge of EH36,EH40 and EH47 grades were developed by optimizing chemical compositions and TMCP process *** alloying elements of Ti and Nb were added to the three steel grades for enhancing the strength and toughness of base *** strength of base plates of the EH47 grade was further enhanced with the help of the increased amount of substitutional solid solutes,such as manganese,copper,nickel,or ***36 steel plates for high heat input over 550 kJ/cm were manufactured by improving thermal stability of TiN particles for better weld heat-affected zone *** stabilized TiN particles effectively suppress grain growth at weld heat-affected zone,leading to better *** steel plates showed excellent mechanical properties of base plates and welded joints.

The Stability Analysis of Implants Installed in Osteotomies with Different Types of Controlled Bone Defects

The stability parameters of implants （ITV, ISQ ＆ PTV） according to different sizes of controlled bone defects made in implant osteotomies were analyzed and the correlation among the three kinds of implant stability parameters was tested in this study. 45 tapped screw-type dental implants were inserted in three types of implant osteotomies made in 8 fresh-frozen pig femoral bones： Typel - without coronal bone defect, Type2 - with 3 mm coronal bone defects, and Type3 - with 6 mm coronal bone defects. The insertion torque values, ISQ ＆ PTV of implants were measured and analyzed statistically. It is concluded that the circumferential coronal bone defects statistically influence the primary stability of implants; ITV, ISQ and PTV are suitable and available to detect the peri-implant coronal bone defects in 3 mm increments, and ITV and PTV are more sensitive to coronal cortical bone loss. There was a strong correlation between ITV and ISQ.
