Effect and Mechanism of Rare Earth Hydrotalcite Inhibiting Coal Spontaneous Combustion

A hydrotalcite(layered double hydroxide, LDH) inhibitor which is suitable for the whole process of coal spontaneous combustion and a LDH inhibitor containing rare earth lanthanum elements were prepared. The inhibition effect and mechanism were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD), thermal performance analysis, in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy and temperature-programmed experiment. The results have shown that the inhibitor containing lanthanum can play a good inhibitory role in every stage of coal oxidation. During the slow oxidation of coal samples, the inhibitor containing lanthanum ions can slow down the oxidation process of coal and increase the initial temperature of coal spontaneous combustion. At the same time, because the hydroxyl groups in LDHs are connected with-COO-groups on the coal surface through hydrogen bonds, the stability of coal is improved. With the increase of temperature, LDHs can remove interlayer water molecules and reduce the surface temperature of coal. CO release rate of coal samples decreases significantly after adding inhibitor containing lanthanum element, and the maximum inhibition rate of the inhibitor is 58.1%.

Here,we report a cobalt-catalyzed sequential dehydrogenative Heck silylation/hydroamination of styrenes with hydrosilane and diazo compound to access 1-amino-2-silyl compounds with excellent regioselectivity.This difunctionalization reaction could undergo smoothly using 1 mol%catalyst loading with good functional group tolerance.Not only di-and tri-substituted hydrosilanes,but also alkoxysilane is suitable,which does explore the scope of the family of 1-amino-2-silyl compounds.The ligand relay phenomenon between neutral tridentate NNN ligand and anionic NNN ligand is observed for the first time via absorption spectral analysis in this one-pot,two-step transformations.The primary mechanism has been proposed based on the control experiments.

Immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)therapy has recently shown promise in treating several malignancies.However,only a limited number of patients respond to this treatment,partially because of the“immune cold”condition of the tumor immune microenvironment.Pyroptosis is a type of gasdermin-mediated programmed cell death that often leads to inflammation and immune responses.Many studies on the mechanism and function of pyroptosis have led to increasing recognition of the role of pyroptosis in malignant progression and immune therapy.Pyroptosis has the potential to alter the tumor immune microenvironment by releasing tumor-associated antigens,damage-associated molecular patterns,and proinflammatory cytokines,thus leading to intratumoral inflammatory responses,stimulation of tumor-specific cytotoxic T cell infiltration,conversion of“cold”to“hot”tumors,and ultimately improving the efficacy of ICB therapy.Some cancer treatments have been shown to restore anticancer immunosurveillance through the induction of pyroptosis.Therapy promoting pyroptosis and ICB therapy may have synergistic effects in cancer treatment.This review summarizes the mechanisms and roles of pyroptosis in the tumor microenvironment and combination treatment strategies.An improved understanding of the roles of pyroptosis in tumorigenesis,immune evasion,and treatment would aid in the development of therapeutic strategies for malignancies.

In this paper,the optimal control of non-linear switching system is investigated without knowing the system dynamics.First,the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman(HJB)equation is derived with the consideration of hybrid action space.Then,a novel data-based hybrid Q-learning(HQL)algorithm is proposed to find the optimal solution in an iterative manner.In addition,the theoretical analysis is provided to illustrate the convergence and optimality of the proposed algorithm.Finally,the algorithm is implemented with the actor-critic(AC)structure,and two linear-in-parameter neural networks are utilized to approximate the functions.Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the data-driven method.

Recently, many deep learning models have shown excellent performance in hyperspectral image(HSI) classification. Among them, networks with multiple convolution kernels of different sizes have been proved to achieve richer receptive fields and extract more representative features than those with a single convolution kernel. However, in most networks, different-sized convolution kernels are usually used directly on multibranch structures, and the image features extracted from them are fused directly and simply. In this paper, to fully and adaptively explore the multiscale information in both spectral and spatial domains of HSI, a novel multi-scale weighted kernel network(MSWKNet) based on an adaptive receptive field is proposed. First, the original HSI cubic patches are transformed to the input features by combining the principal component analysis and one-dimensional spectral convolution. Then, a three-branch network with different convolution kernels is designed to convolve the input features, and adaptively adjust the size of the receptive field through the attention mechanism of each branch. Finally, the features extracted from each branch are fused together for the task of classification.Experiments on three well-known hyperspectral data sets show that MSWKNet outperforms many deep learning networks in HSI classification.

Driven by the improvement of the smart grid,the active distribution network(ADN)has attracted much attention due to its characteristic of active management.By making full use of electricity price signals for optimal scheduling,the total cost of the ADN can be reduced.However,the optimal dayahead scheduling problem is challenging since the future electricity price is unknown.Moreover,in ADN,some schedulable variables are continuous while some schedulable variables are discrete,which increases the difficulty of determining the optimal scheduling scheme.In this paper,the day-ahead scheduling problem of the ADN is formulated as a Markov decision process(MDP)with continuous-discrete hybrid action space.Then,an algorithm based on multi-agent hybrid reinforcement learning(HRL)is proposed to obtain the optimal scheduling scheme.The proposed algorithm adopts the structure of centralized training and decentralized execution,and different methods are applied to determine the selection policy of continuous scheduling variables and discrete scheduling variables.The simulation experiment results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Predicting survival and prognosis of postoperative breast cancer brain metastasis:a population-based retrospective analysis

Background:Breast cancer is one of the most common cancer in women and a proportion of patients experiences brain metastases with poor prognosis.The study aimed to construct a novel predictive clinical model to evaluate the overall survival(OS)of patients with postoperative brain metastasis of breast cancer(BCBM)and validate its effectiveness.Methods:From 2010 to 2020,a total of 310 female patients with BCBM were diagnosed in The Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,and they were randomly assigned to the training cohort and the validation cohort.Data of another 173 BCBM patients were collected from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results Program(SEER)database as an external validation cohort.In the training cohort,the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)Cox regression model was used to determine the fundamental clinical predictive indicators and the nomogram was constructed to predict OS.The model capability was assessed using receiver operating characteristic,C-index,and calibration curves.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was performed to evaluate clinical effectiveness of the risk stratification system in the model.The accuracy and prediction capability of the model were verified using the validation and SEER cohorts.Results:LASSO Cox regression analysis revealed that lymph node metastasis,molecular subtype,tumor size,chemotherapy,radiotherapy,and lung metastasis were statistically significantly correlated with BCBM.The C-indexes of the survival nomogram in the training,validation,and SEER cohorts were 0.714,0.710,and 0.670,respectively,which showed good prediction capability.The calibration curves demonstrated that the nomogram had great forecast precision,and a dynamic diagram was drawn to increase the maneuverability of the results.The Risk Stratification System showed that the OS of lowrisk patients was considerably better than that of high-risk patients(Plusion:The nomogram prediction model constructed in this study has a good predictive value,which ca

The GGGGCC(G_(4)C_(2))hexanucleotide repeat expansion in the C9ORF72 gene is a major cause of both hereditary amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and familial frontotemporal dementia.Recent studies have shown that G_(4)C_(2)hexanucleotide repeat-containing RNA transcripts((G_(4)C_(2))_(n)RNA)could go through liquid-liquid phase separation to form RNA foci,which may elicit neurodegeneration.However,the direct causality between these abnormal RNA foci and neuronal toxicity remains to be demonstrated.Here we introduce an optogenetic control system that can induce the assembly and phase separation of(G_(4)C_(2))_(n)RNA foci with blue light illumination in human cells,by fusing a specific(G_(4)C_(2))_(n)RNA binding protein as the linker domain to Cry2,a protein that oligomerizes in response to blue light.Our results demonstrate that a higher number of G_(4)C_(2)repeats have the potential to be induced into more RNA foci in the cells.Both spontaneous and induced RNA foci display liquid-like properties according to FRAP measurements.Computational simulation shows strong consistency with the experimental results and supports the effect of our system to promote the propensity of(G_(4)C_(2))_(n)RNA towards phase separation.This system can thus be used to investigate whether(G_(4)C_(2))_(n)RNA foci would disrupt normal cellular processes and lead to pathological phenotypes relevant to repeat expansion disorders.

Origin and evolution of false brinelling and fretting corrosion under rolling conditions

Rolling bearings working in oscillating applications often suffer from false brinelling and fretting corrosion that limit their service life.At present,the study of oscillation-induced failures is primarily dominated by a large number of sliding and bench tests.However,most of the previous work are not able to fully describe the two closely related but different failure mechanisms.In this study,the origin and evolution of the two failures are thoroughly investigated under strictly controlled oscillating rolling conditions.The results show that failure evolves from false brinelling to fretting corrosion under dry friction conditions regardless of the oscillation amplitude.This process is accompanied by a large area peeling and serious oxidation,and the oxygen content increases from 2.50 wt%to 21.22 wt%.Oxidation is a crucial factor in the evolution of false brinelling into fretting corrosion.However,the distribution of microwear and oxygen content depend on the oscillation amplitude.Under lubrication conditions,the friction coefficient(COF)is smaller in the initial stage and led to local slip or transient instability of rolling elements.Therefore,the size of the wear marks and COF increased and appeared to be larger than those under a dry friction condition.However,grease can separate the contact surfaces,only surface deformation owing to false brinelling and slight damage at the roughness level occurred.The evolution of false brinelling and fretting corrosion is also closely related to residual stress.False brinelling often occurrs with residual stress accomulation,meanwhile,the residual stress increases from 120 to 300 MPa.When peeling occurs,residual stress is released.The failure pattern transformed from false brinelling to fretting corrosion and is accompanied by oxidation.So far,none of investigation is able to show satisfactory evolution of oscillating-induced failures,this study may contribute to more scientific understanding of rolling bearings against long-run reciprocating oscillating wear.
