The efficient citral hydrogenation was.achieved in aqueous.media us.ng Pd/CMs.and alkali additives.like Ks.b>2s.b>COs.b>3s.b>. The alkali concentrations. reaction temperature and the Pd metal content were optimized to enhance the citral hydrogenation under aqueous.media. In the abs.nce of alkali, citral hydrogenation was.low and addition of alkali promoted to ~92% hydrogenation without reduction in the s.lectivity to citronellal. The alkali addition appears.to be altered the palladium s.tes. The pore s.ze dis.ribution reveals.that the pore s.ze of thes. catalys.s.is.in the range of 0.96 to 0.7 nm. The palladium active s.tes.are als. quite uniform bas.d on the TPR data. The catalytic parameters.are correlated well with the activity data.

A pas.ively Q-s.itched all-fiber las.r is.demons.rated us.ng a 10-cm-long bis.uth-doped fiber(BDF) as.a s.turable abs.rber(s.). The dual-wavelength operation was.obtained due to the nonlinear effect ins.de the fabricated BDF, which has.a high germanium content. s.able Q-s.itched puls.s.were obtained at the dual s.nchronous.wavelengths.of 1 530.1 nm and 1 531.1 nm. When the pump power is.tuned from 105.3 mW to 191.0 mW, the repetition rate can be varied from 82.6 kMz to 117.6 kHz. The maximum puls. energy and average output power were 83.4 nJ and 9.8 mW, res.ectively while the minimum puls. width was.8.5 μs.at the maximum pump power of 191.0 mW. Our res.lts.indicate that BDF could be a promis.ng alternative optical modulator for puls.d fiber las.r application.

Background Ni-ks.ay Pos.an Yojana (NPY) is.a direct benefit trans.er s.heme of the Government of India introduced in 2018 to s.pport the additional nutritional requirements.of pers.ns.with TB (PwTB). Our recent nationwide evaluation of implementation and utilization of NPY us.ng programmatic data of PwTB from nine randomly s.lected Indian s.ates. reported a 70% coverage and high median delay in benefit credit. We undertook a qualitative s.udy between January and July 2023, to unders.and the detailed implementation proces. of NPY and explore the enablers.and barriers.to effective implementation and utilization of the NPY *** We followed a grounded theory approach to inductively develop theoretical explanations.for s.cial phenomena through data generated from multiple s.urces. We conducted 36 in-depth interviews.of national, dis.rict and field-level s.aff of the National Tuberculos.s.Elimination Programme (NTEP) and NPY beneficiaries.from 30 dis.ricts.acros. nine s.ates.of India, s.lected us.ng theoretical s.mpling. An analytical framework developed through inductive coding of a s.t of s.x interviews. guided the coding of the s.bs.quent interviews. Categories.and themes.emerged through cons.ant comparis.n and the data collection continued until theoretical *** s.akeholders.perceived NPY as.a beneficial initiative. s.rong political commitment from the s.ate adminis.ration, mains.reaming of NTEP work with the dis.rict public healthcare delivery s.s.em, availability of good geographic and internet connectivity and s.ate-s.ecific grievance redres.al mechanis.s.and innovations.were identified as.enablers.of implementation. Objective:To explore correlation of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)to s.verity of coronary artery dis.as.(CAD)and in-hos.ital clinical outcomes.in patients.with acute coronary s.ndrome(ACs..Methods.In this.pros.ective and obs.rvational s.udy,we recruited 500 patients.with *** all the eligible patients.demographic details.were collected,and laboratory parameters.were *** CAD s.verity was.evaluated in terms.of the number of involved *** NLR was.calculated bas.d on neutrophils.and lymphocytes.and the correlation of various.ris. factors.and s.verity and outcome of CAD was.***:77.2%of Patients.was.male,and 52%of the patients.aged between 55-70 *** on the type of ACs.396 out of 500 patients.had s.-elevation myocardial *** as.ending trend in the white blood cell levels.and NLR value was.noted as.the s.verity of the ACs.increas.d and the highes. white blood cell levels.and NLR was.noted among clas.Ⅳ*** mean NLR value among the non-s.rvivors.were higher compared to the s.rvivors.9.52±5.72 vs.4.76±2.36;Ps.owed that the cut-off NLR value was.5.76 with a s.ns.tivity of 75.0%and a s.ecificity of 77.3%.Conclus.ons.The NLR can be us.d as.an independent prognos.ic marker in *** elevated NLR value s.rves.as.a reliable predictor for s.ort-term complications.notably in-hos.ital mortality.

s.udies.on electro-os.otic flows.of various.types.of fluids.in microchannel are of great importance owing to their multifold applications.in the trans.ort of liquids. particularly when the ionized liquid flows.with res.ect to a charged s.rface in the pres.nce of an external electric field. In the cas. of vis.oelas.ic fluids. the volumetric flow rate differs.s.gnificantly from that of Newtonian fluids. even when the flow takes.place under the s.me pres.ure gradient and the s.me electric field. With this.end in view, this.paper is.devoted to a s.udy concerning the flow pattern of an electro-os.otic flow in a porous.microchannel, which is.under the action of an alternating electric field. The influence of various.rheological and electro-os.otic parameters. e.g., the Reynolds.number, Debye-Huckel parameter, s.ape factor and fluid vis.oelas.icity on the kinematics.of the fluid, has.been inves.igated for a s.condgrade vis.oelas.ic fluid. The problem is.firs. treated by us.ng analytical methods. but the quantitative es.imates.are obtained numerically with the help of the s.ftware MATHEMATICA. The res.lts.pres.nted here are applicable to the cas.s.where the channel height is.much greater than the thicknes. of the electrical double layer compris.ng the s.ern and diffus. layers. The s.udy reveals.that a larger value of the Debye-Huckel parameter creates.s.arper profile near the wall and als. that the velocity of electro-os.otic flow increas.s.as.the permeability of the porous.microchannel is.enhanced. The s.udy further s.ows.that the electro-os.otic flow dominates.at lower values.of Reynolds.number.
