Free surface flows aeration potential causing the in macro- and intermediate flow characteristics to vary roughness conditions have a high with slopes and discharges. The underlying mechanism of two-phase flow characteristics in macro- and intermediate roughness conditions were analyzed in an experimental setup assembled at the Laboratory of Hydraulic Protection of the Territory （PITLAB） of the University of Pisa, Italy. Crushed angular rocks and hemispherical boulders were used to intensify the roughness of the bed. Flow rates per unit width ranging between 0.03 m^2/s and 0.09 m^2/s and slopes between 0.26 and 0.46 were tested over different arrangements of a rough bed. Analyses were mainly carried out in the inner flow region, which consists of both bubbly and intermediate flow regions. The findings revealed that the two-phase flow properties over the rough bed were much affected by rough bed arrangements. Turbulence features of two-phase flows over the rough bed were compared with those of the stepped chute data under similar flow conditions. Overall, the results highlight the flow features in the inner layers of the two-phase flow, showing that the maximum turbulence intensity decreases with the relative submergence, while the bubble frequency distribution is affected by the rough bed elements.

Transcription factor, Nkx3.2, is a member of the NK family of developmental genes and is expressed during embryogenesis in a variety of mammalian model organisms, including chicken and mouse. It was first identified in Drosophila as the Bagpipe （bap） gene, where it has been demonstrated to be essential during formation of the midgut musculature. However, mammalian homolog Nkx3.2 has been shown to play a significant role in axial and limb skeletogenesis; in particular, the human skeletal disease, spondylo-megaepiphyseal-metaphyseal dysplasia （SMMD）, is associated with mutations of the Nkx3.2 gene. In this review, we highlight the role of Nkx3.2 during musculoskeletal development, with an emphasis on the factor＇s role in determining chondrogenic cell fate and its subsequent role in endochondral ossification and chondrocyte survival.

Conventional combination therapies have not resulted in considerable progress in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Elderly patients with AML and poor risk factors have grave prognosis. Midostaurin has been recently approved for the treatment of FLT-3-mutated AML. Venetoclax, a BCL-2 inhibitor, has been approved for the treatment of relapsed and/or refractory chronic lymphoid leukemia. Clinical trials on applying venetoclax in combination with cytarabine and other agents to treat various hematological malignancies are currently underway. Here, we present a case of a male patient with poor performance status and who developed AML following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant for high-risk myelodysplasia. The patient with high risk AML achieved complete response to the combined treatment regimen of low-dose cytarabine and venetoclax. Furthermore, we reviewed current clinical trials on the use of venetoclax for hematological malignancies.

Hypoxic patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)are at high risk of adverse *** nitric oxide(iNO)has shown anti-viral and immunomodulatory effects in ***,in vivo evidence of efficacy in hypoxic COVID-19 is *** open label feasibility study was conducted at a single referral center in South India and evaluated the effectiveness of repurposed iNO in improving clinical outcomes in COVID-19 and its correlation with viral *** recruited hypoxemic COVID-19 patients and allocated them into treatment(iNO)and control groups(1:1).Viral clearance on day 5 favored the treatment group(100%vs 72%,P<0.01).The speed of viral clearance as adjudged by normalized longitudinal cycle threshold(Ct)values was positively impacted in the treatment *** proportion of patients who attained clinical improvement,defined as a≥2-point change on the World Health Organization ordinal scale,was higher in the iNO cohort(n=11,79%)as compared to the control group(n=4,36%)(odds ratio 6.42,95%confidence interval 1.09–37.73,P=0.032).The proportion of patients progressing to mechanical ventilation in the control group(4/11)was significantly higher than in the treatment group(0/14).The all-cause 28-day mortality was significantly different among the study arms,with 36%(4/11)of the patients dying in the control group while none died in the treatment *** numbers needed to treat to prevent an additional poor outcome of death was estimated to be *** study demonstrates the putative role of repurposed iNO in hypoxemic COVID-19 patients and calls for extended validation.

Due to the increased burden of infectious complications following solid organ transplantation, vaccination against common pathogens is a hugely important area of discussion and application in clinical practice. Reduction in infectious complications will help to reduce morbidity and mortality post-transplantation. Immunisation history is invaluable in the work-up of potential recipients. Knowledge of the available vaccines and their use in transplant recipients, donors and healthcare providers is vital in the delivery of quality care to transplant recipients. This article will serve as an aide-memoire to transplant physicians and health care professionals involved in managing transplant recipients as it provides an overview of different types of vaccines, timing of vaccination, vaccines contraindicated post solid organ transplantation and travel vaccines.

目的：病情改善药治疗类风湿性关节炎在全球得到广泛应用。然而不同的国家对这些药物的应用存在差异。这项研究的目的旨在评价中国大连与毛里求斯对类风湿性关节炎的治疗模式，同时评价这两个国家发病人群和实验室检查的特点。病例和方法：这是一项回顾性研究。收集了2010年2月至2011年12月在大连医科大学附属第一医院风湿免疫科住院的类风湿关节炎患者110例，均符合2010年ACR/EULAR诊断标准。所有的病人在住院时均处于疾病活动期（DAS28≥2.6）。每一例患者均记载了年龄、性别、发病时年龄、住院时血沉、CRP、RF值、CCP结果以及目前的治疗方案。毛里求斯病例由该国Jeetoo医院风湿临床中心A.G医生提供，收集时间为2010年9月至2010年11月，入组病人均符合ACR/EULAR诊断标准，所有病例也均为活动期，(DAS28≥2.6）。每一位患者收集了如下数据：年龄、性别、发病时年龄、末次随访时ESR、RF定性结果以及目前的治疗。毛里求斯病例未行CRP、CCP检测。采用SSPS11.5软件包进行统计分析。正态分布数据采用均数±标准差表示，非正态分布数据采用中位数(四分位间距)表达，分类变量以频率和百分数表示。率的比较采用卡方检验。均数值采用独立样本T检验，P值＜0.05考虑为有差异。结果：中国患者的平均年龄60.0±13.4岁，年龄最小者20岁，最大者86岁;毛里求斯患者平均年龄是56.1±10.0，最年轻者32岁，最大者83岁，两组比较P=0.012。两组患者中50-59岁年龄组发病人数高于其他年龄段，中国患者平均发病年龄是53.0±14.8，而毛里求斯患者平均发病年龄是48.0±10.9岁（P=0.001）。中国患者平均疾病持续时间7.3±7.7年，毛里求斯患者是7.6±5.6（P=0.000）。两组患者均以女性为主，中国为78.2%(86/110),毛里求斯为88.2%(97/110),中国与毛里求斯男女患者比例分别是：1:3.6和1:7.5（P=0.047）。中国与毛里求斯患者平均血沉值是：44.1±26.0mm/hr和55.7±26.6mm/hr（P=0.865），中国患者CRP中位值是17.3mg/L(四分位区间是13.1-35.6),中国与毛里求斯患者RF阳性率分别是：89.1%和77.3%（P=0.019）。81%的中国患者抗CCP抗体阳性。 43例（39.1%）中国患者给予单一病情改善药，67例患者给予两种或以上的病情改善药(联合用药）。单一给药组MTX占58.1%(25/43),来氟米特占23.3%（25/43）,雷公藤18.6%（8/43）。两药联合组MTX+来氟米特占28.4%（19/67），雷公藤+糖皮质激素（以下简称激素）占14.9%（10/67）,MTX+激素占11.9%（8/67）,MTX+雷公藤占9.0%（6/67），来氟米特+激素占6.0%(4/67),MTX+羟氯喹占4.5%(3/67),来氟米特+雷公藤占3.0%（2/67）,羟氯喹+柳氮磺胺吡啶占1.5%(1/67),MTX+柳氮磺胺吡啶占1.5%(1/67)，羟氯喹+雷公藤占1.5%(1/67)，羟氯喹+激素占1.5%(1/67)。三种药物的联合治疗包括：MTX+来氟米特+激素占6.0%(6/67),MTX+羟氯喹+激素占3.0%(2/67)，MTX+雷公藤+激素占3.0%(2/67)，来氟米特+雷公藤+激素占1.5%(1/67)。 MTX是最常选用的单一病情改善药(58.1%),MTX+来氟米特是最常选用的联合用药方式（28.4%）。在毛里求斯的病例中，11例（10%）为单一用药，99例（90%）为联合用药。单一用药组羟氯喹最常用63.1%(7/11)，其次为柳氮磺胺吡啶27.3%(3/11)，MTX仅9.1%（1/11）。两药联合组羟氯喹+激素占21.2%(21/99),柳氮磺胺吡啶+激素12.1%(12/99),MTX+激素占9.1%（9/99）,羟氯喹+柳氮磺胺吡啶占3.0%(3/99),MTX+柳氮磺胺吡啶占2.2%(2/99),硫唑嘌呤+激素占1%（1/99）。三药联合组羟氯喹+柳氮磺胺吡啶+激素占30.3%（30/99）,MTX+柳氮磺胺吡啶+激素占6.1%（6/99），MTX+羟氯喹+激素占5.1%(5/99)，硫唑嘌呤+柳氮磺胺吡啶+激素占2.0%（2/99）,另有8.1%（8/99）的患者采用MTX+羟氯喹+柳氮磺胺吡啶+激素。在单药组最常使用的病情改善药是羟氯喹（63.6%），羟氯喹+柳氮磺胺吡啶是最常使用的联合用药模式（30.3%）。 85.5%的毛里求斯患者（94/110）长期（≥6月）每天口服小剂量激素（5mg强的松），中国患者未长期使用激素。结论：两组患者中，类风湿性关节炎发病年龄更常

The cultivation of grapes is severely impacted by the emergence of downy mildew (DM) disease which negatively affects quality and yield possibly resulting in heavy losses. Due to certain shortcomings in the usage of fungicides and the development of new cultivars by plant breeding, marker assisted selection (MAS) will be an efficient alternative method to introduce desired genes into the cultivated varieties in a short time period. The Simple sequence repeats (SSR) markers seem to be the most popular genetic marker of choice for MAS. In the present study, we identified 14 new SSR markers in RPV1 locus that are associated with downy mildew resistance in grapes. The characterization of the identified markers was carried out on the basis of various parameters such as types of repeat motifs, number of repeats, different classes and structure of microsatellites. Additionally, SSR genotyping in 56 different grape accessions was done to determine the susceptibility or resistance of these accessions to DM.

The behavior and dynamics of ionosphere are completely dependent on the solar activity. We have investigated the long term variability of ionospheric parameter foF2 with corresponding changes in the solar activity during the 23rd solar cycle. The variation of the critical frequency of ionospheric foF2 at Syowa Station Antarctica, (69°S, 39°E) is examined with four different solar activity indices characterizing the long term variability of solar activity wise Flare Index, relative sunspot number (Rz), solar flux F10.7 cm and CME occurrence index. We compared the dependency of foF2 and other solar activity indices on each other by using linear correlation investigation, and showed the qualitative similarity of the ionospheric foF2 with the solar indices. We notice that hysteresis of foF2 is lower for the growing branches of the solar cycle. The individual dissimilarity of critical frequency foF2 demonstrated the dependency on the solar cycle but this variation was different during the months, which depended on solar activity and polar ionospheric behavior. The peak to peak variation between monthly average of critical frequency foF2 and solar indices parameter is evidence for the absolute dependency for each other. The linear correlation between the solar indices and foF2 is very strong during the climbing and downward branches of the solar cycle. However the incline of their linear fits shows variations from index to index.
