Effective treatment of sepsis not only demands prompt administration of appropriate antimicrobials but also requires precise dosing to enhance the likelihood of patient survival. Adequate dosing refers to the administration of doses that yield therapeutic drug concentrations at the infection site. This ensures a favorable clinical and microbiological response while avoiding antibiotic-related toxicity. Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) is the recommended approach for attaining these goals. However, TDM is not universally available in all intensive care units (ICUs) and for all antimicrobial agents. In the absence of TDM, healthcare practitioners need to rely on several factors to make informed dosing decisions. These include the patient's clinical condition, causative pathogen, impact of organ dysfunction (requiring extracorporeal therapies), and physicochemical properties of the antimicrobials. In this context, the pharmacokinetics of antimicrobials vary considerably between different critically ill patients and within the same patient over the course of ICU stay. This variability underscores the need for individualized dosing. This review aimed to describe the main pathophysiological changes observed in critically ill patients and their impact on antimicrobial drug dosing decisions. It also aimed to provide essential practical recommendations that may aid clinicians in optimizing antimicrobial therapy among critically ill patients.

Eucalypt plantations in China currently exceed4.5 Mhm^2, and this country has the third largest area of such plantations after India and Brazil. China's eucalypt industry now comprises a complex, multifaceted industry including seedling propagation, fertilizer production and supply, plantation silviculture, harvesting and transport,wood processing for products including lumber, pulp and paper, and wood-based panels, as well as bioenergy production and various forest byproducts and non-wood forest products. In 2015, the combined value of output of this whole industry was around 300 billion CNY. Chinese research and development(R&D) has been instrumental in supporting growth and development across the whole breadth of the country's eucalypt industry. In this report,recent advances in this R&D are reviewed under six key topics:(1) advanced propagation technology;(2) genetic resources and breeding;(3) targeted silviculture;(4) eucalypt disease and pest management;(5) enhancing plantation ecology and sustainability; and(6) wood processing and byproduct technology. R&D has greatly facilitated expansion and proliferation of all parts of China's eucalypt industry. This industry is now of major importance to China's economy; it involves tens of thousands of growers and companies that provide livelihoods for hundreds of thousands of people.

Khaya senegalensis(Desr.)***.(African mahogany or dry-zone mahogany) has long been an important multipurpose tree in its natural range in *** is valued for a wide range of non-timber traditional use products and it provides a very high quality *** the past 10 years demand for this timber has increased *** the same time,prices for Khaya timber have risen substantially due to increasing demand, increasing scarcity of trees in natural stands and limits placed on raw log exports from *** recent years,the potential of *** as a plantation species has increasingly recognised and the annual establishment rates are increasingly rapidly in seasonally-dry lowland tropical areas of Australia,Sri Lanka and other countries. Khaya senegalensis is native to sub-Saharan *** occurs in a discontinuous band between 8°and 15°N,extending from the Atlantic Ocean eastwards towards the Indian Ocean,including areas in Chad,Sudan,Uganda,Central African Republic,Benin,Cote D’lvoire,Gambia,Guinea,Guinea-Bissau,Mall,Niger,Nigeria,Senegal,Sierra Leone and *** habitats vary in altitude from 0-1800m asl,with rainfalls varying from about 400 mm to more than 1,700 mm per year and with dry seasons lasting from 4-8 months. It is thought that *** was first introduced to China more than 100 years ago by French *** it is commonly grown in coastal regions of southern China as a shade and amenity tree. Information from studies carried out in Australia along with data from southern China and other countries in Asia,has recently been used to develop a climatic profile for K. *** climatic profile has been used with climatic mapping programs to map areas climatically suited for plantations of *** in China.

Air-side economizers are increasingly used to take advantage of“free-cooling”in data centers with the intent of reducing the carbon footprint of ***,they can introduce outdoor pollutants to indoor environment of data centers and cause corrosion damage to the information technology *** evaluate the reliability of information technology equipment under various thermal and air-pollution conditions,a mechanistic model based on multi-ion transport and chemical reactions was *** model was used to predict Cu corrosion caused by Cl_(2)-containing pollutant *** also accounted for the effects of temperature(25℃and 28℃),relative humidity(50%,75%,and 95%),and *** also identified higher air temperature as a corrosion barrier and higher relative humidity as a corrosion accelerator,which agreed well with the experimental *** average root mean square error of the prediction was 13.7Å.The model can be used to evaluate the thermal guideline for data centers design and operation when Cl_(2)is present based on pre-established acceptable risk of corrosion in data centers’environment.

为开发和利用尾巨桉能源林,通过测量1～4年生植株的叶片、树枝、树根、树干和树皮的热值和生物量,对短周期尾巨桉能源林的生物量和能量特征进行了研究。结果表明,尾巨桉叶片、树枝、树干、树根、树皮和林分生物量均随林龄增加而增加,叶片、树枝、树皮生物量占单株总生物量的比例逐年减小,而树干则呈逐年升高趋势。1～4年生尾巨桉单株和林分的生物量分别为4.32～66.29 kg和10.68～153.33 t hm-2。生物量的结构特征表明,尾巨桉林分在第4年开始郁闭,生长以增加树干的生物量为主。尾巨桉各组分的平均干质量热值为17.23～20.56 kJ g-1,且差异极显著（P〈0.01）,以叶片的值最高、树皮的最低;同一组分不同林龄的热值差异不显著（P〉0.05）。1～4年生尾巨桉的单株和林分能量现存量为81.61～1255.22 MJ和201.83～2903.32 GJ hm-2,其变化趋势及大小排列顺序与生物量相同。因此,对尾巨桉能源林可以4年短周期进行经营。

This study investigates the properties of exciton-polaritons in a two-dimensional(2D)hybrid organic-inorganic perovskite microcavity in the presence of optical Stark *** both steady and dynamic state analyses,strong coupling between excitons of perovskite and cavity photons is revealed,indicating the formation of polaritons in the perovskite ***,it is found that an external optical Stark pulse can induce energy shifts of excitons proportional to the pulse intensity,which modifies the dispersion characteristics of the polaritons.
