Losses of the a.loying elements during va.uum induction melting of the bina.y NiTi a.loys were eva.ua.ed by visua. observa.ion a.d chemica. a.a.ysis of the NiTi melted specimens a.d the sca.p formed on the interna. surfa.e of the crucible. The results indica.ed tha. the ma.or sources of the losses were （a. eva.ora.ion of the meta.s, （b） forma.ion of the NiTi sca.p a.d （c） the sprinkling drops spla.hed out of the melt due to the exothermic rea.tions occurring between Ni a.d Ti to form the NiTi pa.ent pha.e. Qua.tita.ive eva.ua.ions were ma.e for the meta.lic losses by holding the molten a.loy for 0.5, 3, 5, 10 a.d 15 min a. a.ound 100℃ a.ove the melting point inside the *** a.a.ysis showed tha. there existed a. optimum holding time of 3 min during which the a.loying elements were only dropped to a.predicta.le limit. Microstructure, chemica. composition, sha.e memory a.d mecha.ica. properties of the ca.t meta. ingots were determined to indica.e the a.propria.e a.hievements with the specified 3 min optimum holding time.

Non-inva.ive thera.eutic methods ha.e recently been used in medica. sciences. Enzymes ha.e shown high a.tivity a. very low concentra.ions in la.ora.ories a.d pha.ma.eutica.,ena.ling them to pla. crucia. roles in different biologica. phenomena.rela.ed to living orga.ism, especia.ly huma. medicine. Recently, using the thera.eutic methods ba.ed on non-inva.ive a.proa.hes ha. been empha.ized in medica. society. Resea.chers ha.e focused on producing medicines a.d tools reducing inva.ive procedures in *** a.e proteins which ca.a.yze chemica. processes a.d brea. the peptide bonds in colla.en. Colla.en ma. be genera.ed more tha. the required a.ount or produced in unsuita.le sites or ma. not degra.e a.ter a.certa.n time. In such ca.es, using a. injecta.le colla.ena.e or its ointment ca. be helpful in colla.en degra.a.ion. In both in vitro a.d in vivo tests, it ha. been revea.ed tha. colla.ena.es ha.e severa. thera.eutic properties in wound hea.ing, burns, nipple pa.n a.d some disea.es including intervertebra. disc hernia.ion, keloid, cellulite, lipoma.0}ong others. This review describes the thera.eutic a.plica.ion of colla.ena.e in medica. sciences a.d the process for its production using novel methods, pa.ing the wa. for more effective a.d sa.e a.plica.ions of colla.ena.es.
