Solar insolation driven periodicities in southwest monsoon and its impact on NE Arabian Sea paleoceanography

In the northeastern(NE) Arabian Sea,the fluctuation in terrestrial and freshwater runoff directly depends on southwest monsoon(SWM) precipitation as well as the meltwater flux provided by Indus ***,analysis of multi-proxy spectral signatures was carried out to trace the high-resolution SWM periodicities and their influence on the productivity,regional sea level fluctuations and depositional processes in the NE Arabian *** time series data of stable isotopes of oxygen(δ^18 O(***)).carbon(δ^13 C(***) and δ^13 C(org)) and nitrogen(δ^15 N).Total Organic Carbon(TOC),planktic-benthic foraminiferal ratio(p/B ratio) and>63 μm coarse fraction(CF) were used from two coastal sedimentary cores located offshore Saurashtra,NE Arabian Sea(Core SK-240/485 having 88 m water depth;Core GC/SK-240/496 having 174 m water depth).The REDFIT based spectral analysis recorded significant periodicities(>90% significance) in δ^18 0 time series centered at^1609,~667,~525,~296,~290 and^256 ***,the significant periodicities recorded in carbon isotopes time series(δ^13 C(***) and δ^13 C(org))centered at^681,~512,~471,~452,~438,~360,~292,~275,~269,~245 and^209 *** significant periodicities in TOC include^471 and-322 years whereas δ^15 N time series recorded significant periodicity centered at-360 *** significant periodicities in p/B ratio time series centered at^512,~388,~304,~250,~235,~217,~152,~139 and^135 years while CF recorded^268,~216,~209,~198,~188,~173 and^140 years significant *** observed periodicities in the multi-proxy record consist of similar cycles(within the radiocarbon dating error) which also natch with previously reported solar insolation influenced SWM and other global and regional ***,the stationarity of the data has been verified using wavelet analysis and shows similar periodicities as observed in REDFIT ***,the depositional behaviour was studied using correlation analysis of the common

Conventional approach of dealing with more users per coverage area in cellular networks implies densifying the amount of(Access point)Ap which will eventually result in a larger carbon *** this paper,we propose a base station off-loading and cell range extension(CRE)scheme based on multi-hop device-to-device(MHD2D)path selection between transmitter and receiver *** paper also provides derivations of upper and lower bounds for energy efficiency,capacity,and transmit *** proposed path selection scheme is inspired by the foraging behavior of honey *** present the algorithm as a modified variant of the artificial bee colony algorithm(MVABC).The proposed optimization problem is modeled as a minimization problem where we optimize the Energy Efficiency(EE).The proposed path selection MVABC is compared with the Genetic Algorithm(GA)and also with classical artificial bee colony(ABC)through simulations and statistical *** student’s t-test,p-value,and standard error of means(SEM)clearly show that MVABC based path selection out-performs the GA and classical ABC *** based approach is 66%more efficient when compared with classic ABC and about 62%efficient when compared with GA based scheme.

Higher frequency of Yq microdeletions in sperm DNA as compared to DNA isolated from blood

Aim： To determine if Yq microdeletion frequency and loci of deletion are similar in two tissues （blood and sperm） of different embryological origin. Methods： The present study included 52 infertile oligozoospermic cases. In each case, DNA was isolated from blood and sperms and polymerase chain reaction （pCR） microdeletion analysis was done from genomic DNA isolated from both the tissues. The pCR products were analyzed on a 1.8% agarose gel. pCR amplifications found to be negative were repeated at least three times to confirm the deletion of a given marker. Results： Only 1 case harbored microdeletion in blood DNA, whereas 4 cases harbored microdeletion in sperm DNA. Conclusion： The frequency of Yq microdeletions is higher in germ cells as compared to blood. As the majority of infertile couples opt for assisted reproduction procreation techniques （ART）, Yq microdeletion screening from germ cells is important to understand the genetic basis of infertility, to provide comprehensive counseling and most adapted therapeutics to the infertile couple.

Optimization of Wear Factors of Aluminium Hybrid Metal Matrix Composites Using Taguchi Method

Hybrid metal matrix composites (Hmmc) are found to be more superior than the conventional composite materials because of their improved mechanical properties, which can be suited for an extensive range of engineering applications. Automobile and aerospace industries widely make use of hybrid composites as they possess excellent corrosion, wear resistance, low density, and high strength. This paper displays the strategy to build the hybrid composite utilizing Stir casting Method. present investigation includes the creation of composites utilizing boron carbide (2%, 4%, 6% volume) and Red mud (2% volume) as the reinforcements and Structural aluminium as the matrix. Experimental investigation of wear analysis of the composites was carried out according to the L9 Taguchi method. The designated number of experiments was accomplished to probe the impact of control factors on the specific wear rate (SWR) of the developed composites. ANOVA was carried out and Wt%. Reinforcement was found to be the decisive factor on the SWR of the developed hybrid composite. The Confirmatory test was successfully carried out and the computed error was found to be varying from 0.878% to 2.58%.

GRADE: Deep learning and garlic routing-based secure data sharing framework for IIoT beyond 5G

The rise of automation with Machine-Type Communication(MTC)holds great potential in developing Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)-based applications such as smart cities,Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS),supply chains,and smart industries without any human ***,MTC has to cope with significant security challenges due to heterogeneous data,public network connectivity,and inadequate security *** overcome the aforementioned issues,we have proposed a blockchain and garlic-routing-based secure data exchange framework,i.e.,GRADE,which alleviates the security constraints and maintains the stable connection in ***,the Long-Short-Term Memory(LSTM)-based Nadam optimizer efficiently predicts the class label,i.e.,malicious and non-malicious,and forwards the non-malicious data requests of MTC to the Garlic Routing(GR)*** GR network assigns a unique ElGamal encrypted session tag to each machine partaking in ***,an Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)is applied to encrypt the MTC data ***,the Interplanetary File System(IpFS)-based blockchain is employed to store the machine's session tags,which increases the scalability of the proposed GRADE ***,the proposed framework has utilized the indispensable benefits of the 6G network to enhance the network performance of ***,the proposed GRADE framework is evaluated against different performance metrics such as scalability,packet loss,accuracy,and compromised rate of the MTC data *** results show that the GRADE framework outperforms the baseline methods in terms of accuracy,i.e.,98.9%,compromised rate,i.e.,18.5%,scalability,i.e.,47.2%,and packet loss ratio,i.e.,24.3%.

pb-Sn mixed perovskites are becoming increasingly popular as narrowbandgap(1.2–1.3 eV)light absorbers in single-junction perovskite solar cells(pSCs)and as bottom cells for all-perovskite tandem solar cells,for highefficiency,low-cost,lightweight,roll-to-roll printable photovoltaic(pV)*** the first report of planar pb:Sn mixed pSCs in 2014,the power conversion efficiencies(pCE)have increased from 10%to 21%by the end of 2020 with an exponential growth in research conducted in this *** much effort,the performance and stability of pb-Sn mixed pSCs are still limited,which constrains their long-term use in all-perovskite tandem *** review highlights the avenues explored in improving different aspects of pb-Sn mixed pSCs and provides a comprehensive discussion of the interdependent factors affecting the device *** includes compositional engineering of the perovskite crystal,absorber layer fabrication and crystallization methods,bandgap tuning,Sn4+reduction,and surface passivation of the absorber layer,as well as the selection of interlayers and electrodes of the final pSC.

performance analysis of multiple gain boost converter with hybrid maximum power point tracker for solar pV connected to grid

This paper analyses the performance of a multiple gain boost converter(MGBC)connected to a solar photovoltaic(SpV)system with a grid-tied *** capacitor inductor capacitor(CLC)-based MGBC is integrated to lift the output voltage of the SpV to the required *** voltage lifts/levels in a boost converter(BC)are based on the number of CLC *** suggested MGBC is compared with various conventional BCs in terms of boost factor and component count.A hybrid fuzzy logic-perturb&observe maximum power point tracker(HFL-p&O MppT)developed is used to monitor p_(max)(maximum power)generated by the ***,a comparative analysis of the suggested MppT with a conventional p&O and fuzzy logic-based(FLB)MppT for a CLC-based MGBC is *** comparison is made in terms of rise time,voltage ripples(%),steady-state time and boost *** output characteristics of the developed model for different irradiation conditions are analysed using the MATLAB/Simulink *** MppT simulation result exhibits minimum oscillations at Mpp and a significantly better rise time of 0.015 s when compared with a conventional MppT and FLB *** proposed CLC-MGBC gives an appreciable boost factor of *** generated SpV power is supplied to the grid through a conventional inverter and synchronized using a phase-locked loop *** total harmonic distortion of 1.66%obtained in the output current of the inverter is within the permissible range of the IEEE standards.

Impact of invasive Ageratina adenophora on relative performance of woody vegetation in different forest ecosystems of Kumaun Himalaya,India

Invasive plant Ageratina adenophora(Sprengel)***&*** has invaded majority of the temperate forests in Kumaun,Central *** on *** invaded forest types,their structural attributes,population demography and regeneration status are still at rudimentary *** this,the present study was conducted to assess the impacts of *** on vegetational attributes and regeneration status of three forest types,viz.,Oak(Quercus oblongata ***),pine(pinus roxburghii Sarg.)and Cypress(Cupressus torulosa ***).We selected three sites for each forest type and each site was further purposively stratified into paired sampling plots of 1 ha each i.e.,*** invaded and uninvaded *** results showed large densities of cut stumps or felled trees throughout invaded sites,but with fewer fire signs in comparison to uninvaded *** uninvaded sites,total density and basal area calculated for woody species were relatively higher than those in invaded sites,although results were insignificant(p>0.05).With the exception for Cypress forests,vegetation indices showed low woody species richness and diversity in invaded Oak and pine ***,regeneration of ***,*** and *** tree species did not differ significantly(p>0.05)between invaded and uninvaded *** insignificant differences clearly imply that ***'s presence has not entirely changed the perennial plant communities in terms of composition,structure and natural ***,tree species with poor or no regeneration status requires special attention and needs management strategies involving control of invasive species in forest ecosystems.
