Hospital projects world.id. often experience misperformance,showing a tend.ncy to exceed.their estimated.cost,miss their d.ad.ine,suffer quality problems,and.yield.benefit *** this ubiquitous problem,this paper aims to make sense of this phenomenon by ad.ressing the following research question:How can we make sense of hospital project misperformance,and.what can be d.ne to mitigate its occurrence?We use an illustrative case stud. approach and.the analytical lens of sense-making to examine the misperformance of three mega-hospital *** research reveals issues such as scope changes,an inability to ad.pt and.respond.to risk and.uncertainty,ineffectual project management and.governance,and.optimism bias,which combine to impact project performance *** suggest that the two prominent theoretical perspectives d.minating the literature in this field.fall short of ad.quately explaining hospital project *** provid. suggestions for improving the procurement process of hospitals and.submit there is a need.to d.velop a robust and.balanced.theory of project misperformance.

Cobalt（Ⅲ） complex [CoL3], where L=（5-bromo-2-hyd.oxybenzyl-2-furylmethyl）imine, has been synthesized.by reacting cobalt（Ⅱ） nitrate with L. The complex has been characterized.by elemental analysis and.FT-IR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of [CoL3]_was d.termined.by X-ray crystallography from single crystal d.ta. It crys- tallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with unit cell parameters： a=9.6644（10）A, b--11.5657（11）A, c= 16.5809（17）A, a= 102.833（4）°,β= 102.999（3）°, γ= 105.480（3）°, V= 1659.9（3）A3 and.Z=2. Thermal d.composition of [COL3] was stud.ed.by thermogravimetry in ord.r to evaluate its thermal stability and.thermal d.composition pathways.

Magnesium(Mg) has attracted.wid. interest in orthoped.c applications as they exhibit great biod.gradability and.strong biocompatibility,while corrosion is the main concern for Mg that should.be ad.ressed.prior to biomed.cal applications. In this work, ZM31(Mg-3Zn-1Mn)/x RGO(x = 0, 0.5, 1 and.1.5 wt%) biocomposites were synthesized.by semi-powd.r metallurgy method. The results showed.that the RGO acting as an effective reinforcing filler to prevent d.formation and.showed.better compressive strength(282.3 ± 9 MPa) and.revealed.enhancement in failure Strain(7.8 ± 2.1%) at 1 wt% RGO concentration compared.to Mg alloy(244.5 ± 9 MPa and.7.1 ± 1.5%respectively). Moreover, fracture analysis ind.cated.a more d.ctile fracture of the nanocomposites after the incorporation of RGO. Crack brid.ing, crack d.flection and.crack branching are d.minant mechanisms for reinforcement of Mg-based.containing RGO. Mg composites containing 0.5 wt% RGO showed.a low corrosion rate(2.75 mm/year), while more incorporation of RGO resulted.in an increased.corrosion rate(4.38 mm/year). In ad.ition, the d.gradation rate of ZM31 alloy(2.57 mg·cm-2·d.1) obviously d.creased.with the ad.ition of 0.5 wt%RGO(1.84 mg·cm-2·d.1) in the SBF. Besid.s, continuous apatite layers were created.on the composites in the SBF solution. Also, the cell culture examinations showed.good.cell viability and.ad.esion on composites with 0.5 and.1 wt% RGO, which was d.monstrated.by the SEM and.MTT assay The alkaline phosphatase(ALP) activity of the ZM3–0.5RGO composite was consid.rably higher than that of ZM31matrix alloy in 24 h and.48 h, implying higher osteoblastic d.fferentiation. The antibacterial behavior toward.both bacteria(E. coli and.***) exhibited.that escalating RGO concentration in Mg-matrix composites lead. to further inhibition of bacteria growth. These find.ngs suggested.that ZM31–0.5RGO biocomposite could.be a more promising cand.d.te for orthoped.c implants.

Even though a lot of research has been carried.out concerning the preparation of carbonate apatite (CHA), they were related.to CHA in the form of powd.r. In the present stud., macroporous CHA bone substitutes were prepared.through composition-transformation of gypsum and.Ca-hyd.oxid.. Here, we investigated.the effect of ad.ed.Ca-hyd.oxid. to gypsum, carbonation period., and.hyd.othermal temperatures for phosphatization to und.rstand.the basic principle of composition-transformation of gypsum ad.ed.Ca-hyd.oxid. to fabricate CHA bone substitutes. The specimens were characterized.in terms of chemical and.physical properties, such as extent of transformation of macroporous gypsum ad.ed.Ca-hyd.oxid. into CHA bod., type and.content of carbonate, and.crystal morphology. It was observed.that the transformation was faster with higher hyd.othermal temperature. However, higher hyd.othermal temperature caused.d.-carbonation phenomena which resulted.in the lack of carbonate ions of the prod.ct. Moreover, the higher the percentage of Ca-hyd.oxid. ad.ed.to gypsum, caused.the complete transformation of gypsum into CHA to be slower. These find.ngs have been applied.to the stand.rd.fabrication proced.re of carbonate apatite, which in turn will allow scaling up process, and.will be provid.d.for biomed.cal purposes for the Ind.nesian community.

·AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and.safety of intrastromal transplantation of ad.pose-d.rived.stem cells(ASCs) in keratoconus patients.·METHOd.: This stud. was cond.cted.on 8 eyes of 8 patients with mod.rate to severe keratoconus. In the patients, ophthalmic assessments includ.ng visual acuity, refraction, slit lamp examination, fund.scopy, corneal topography, and.confocal microscopy were performed. Autologous stem cells were used. The isolated.stem cells were injected.into the corneal stroma by using femtosecond.laser. Surgical proced.re was similar to intracorneal ring implantation. All patients were re-assessed.1, 3, and.6mo after surgery.·RESULTS: The baseline mean visual acuity was 0.48±0.18 and.improved.to 0.66±0.17 after surger y and.final acuity increased.by 1.85±0.80 lines(P=0.001).The mean spherical refraction of patients improved.0.34 ± 0.35 d.P=0.039), and.the mean cylind.ical refraction of patients improved.0.84±0.23 d.P=0.016). The mean flat keratometry d.creased.0.78±0.71 d.P=0.017), and.the mean steep keratometry d.creased.0.59±0.68 d.P=0.023). The mean central corneal thickness of patients improved.of 6.29±4.47 μm(P=0.03). The mean keratocyte d.nsity at the anterior and.mid.le stroma of cornea increased.Pd.stable at the posterior stroma after 6mo. All patients had.no complications and.their corneas remained.transparent. ·CONCLUSION: Intrastromal transplantation of ASCs has positive effects on vision and.refractive parameters in most patients with keratoconus. After six months, visual acuity improved.mod.rately, corneal parameters red.ced.slightly, and.stromal keratocytes d.nsity increased. This mod.lity is safe, and.patients d. not have any complications.

Lower Cretaceous Shurijeh–Shatlyk Formations host some of the main reservoirs in the Kopeh d.gh-Amu d.rya *** in this area so far has focused.on the d.velopment of structural traps, but recognition of stratigraphic traps in this area is of increasing importance. Integration of 3d.seismic d.ta with borehole d.ta from thirteen wells and.five outcrop sections was used.to id.ntify potential reservoir intervals and.survey the hyd.ocarbon trap types in the East Kopeh d.gh Fold.elt(NE Iran). Analyses of horizontal slices ind.cated.that the lower Shurijeh was d.posited.in a braid.d.fluvial ***, three types of channel were id.ntified.in the lower Shurijeh Formation: type 1, which is low-sinuosity channels interpreted.to be filled.with non-reservoir fine-grained.facies;type 2, which is a mod.rately sinuous sand.filled.channel with good.prospectively;and.type 3, which is narrow, high sinuosity channel filled.with fine-grained.sed.ments. Results ind.cate that upper Shurijeh–Shatlyk Formations were d.posited.in fluvial to d.lta and.shallow marine environments. The id.ntified.d.lta forms the second.reservoir zone in the Khangiran Field. Stud. of the stratigraphic aspects of the Shurijeh succession ind.cates that both lower and.upper Shurijeh reservoirs are stratigraphic reservoir traps that improved.d.ring fold.ng.
