Federa.ed Learning’s Role in Next-Gen TV Ad Optimization

In the ra.idly evolving landscape of television advertising,optimizing ad schedules to maximize viewer engagement and revenue has become *** methods often opera.e in silos,limiting the potential insights gained from broader data analysis due to concerns over privacy and data *** article introduces a novel approach that levera.es Federa.ed Learning(FL)to enhance TV ad schedule optimization,combining the strengths of local optimization techniques with the power of global Machine Learning(ML)models to uncover actionable insights without compromising data *** combines linear progra.ming for initial ads scheduling optimization with ML—specifically,a K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN)model—for predicting ad spot *** into account the diversity and the difficulty of the ad-scheduling problem,we propose a prescriptivepredictive approach in which first the position of the ads is optimized(using Google’s OR-Tools CP-SAT)and then the scheduled position of all ads will be the result of the optimization ***,this output becomes the target of a predictive task that predicts the position of new entries based on their chara.teristics ensuring the implementation of the scheduling at large scale(using KNN,Light Gra.ient boosting Machine and ra.dom Forest).Furthermore,we explore the integra.ion of FL to enhance predictive accura.y and stra.egic insight across different broadcasting networks while preserving data *** FL approach resulted in 8750 ads being precisely matched to their optimal category placements,showcasing an alignment with the intended diversity ***,there was a minimal deviation observed,with 1133 ads positioned within a one-category variance from their ideal placement in the original dataset.

Association of the glycemic background patterns and the diabetes management efficacy in poorly controlled type 2 diabetes

Antifungal activity and mode of action of nine essential oils(EOs)against *** cells were *** effects of commercial lemon peel,ora.ge peel,tea tree,turpentine,rosemary,peppermint,thyme,oregano and clove oils were determined through Minimum Inhibitory Concentra.ion(MIC),Minimum Fungicidal Concentra.ion(MFC)and inhibition zone *** most effective oil was turpentine *** peel,thyme and oregano oils were also effective,according to MIC and *** zone measurements,also revealed oregano,ora.ge peel,thyme,turpentine and clove oils as most efficient ***,membra.e damage of yeast cells was studied by measuring the extra.ellular pH and conductivity in a concentra.ion dependent *** peel,turpentine,thyme and oregano oils caused a clear increase in extra.ellular pH of glucose-induced yeast cells and induced an increase in extra.ellular *** results point to the deteriora.ion of yeast cell membra.e integrity upon exposure to *** these oils can be used as food preservatives and pharmaceutical agents,it is very important to understand their mode of action and their main target sites in the *** this research not only opens new perspectives to understand antifungal activity mechanisms of EOs,but also help widen their use.

Lactiplantibacillus plantarum is a significant probiotic where it could be found in ubiquitous *** this study,a new *** stra.n DY46 was isolated from a tra.itional lactic-acid-fermented bevera.e called *** whole genome of the DY46 was sequenced and obtained sequences were assembled into a 3.32 Mb dra.t genome using paTRIC(3.6.8.).The DY46 genome consists of a single circular chromosome of 3,332,827 bp that is predicted to carry 3219 genes,including 61 tRNA genes,2 rRNA *** genome has a GC content of 44.3%includes 98 predicted pseudogenes,25 complete or partial tra.sposases and 3 intact *** genes encoding enzymes related in the intact EMP(Embden-Meyerhof-parnas)and PK(phosphoketolase)pathways were predicted using blastKOALA which is an indicator of having facultative heterofermentative ***46 genome also predicted to carry genes of Pln E,Pln F and Pln K showing the antimicrobial potential of this bacterium which can be linked to in vitro antagonism tests that DY46 can inhibit *** *** ATCC14028,*** ATCC13883,and *** ***,it is determined that all resistome found in its genome were intrinsically originated and the stra.n was found to be tolera.t to acid and bile concentra.ions by mimicking human gastrointestinal *** conclusion,*** DY46 is a promising bacterium that appears to have certain probiotic properties,confirmed by“in vitro”and“in silico”analyses,and is a potential dietary supplement candidate that may provide functional benefits to the host.
