A series of substituted 2-(2-hydroxyphen.limin.) phen.lic (salen. derivatives (1-4) have been.syn.hesized an. their structures of obtain.d compoun. were characterized by an.lytical, FT-Ir, UV-Vis an. 13C{1H}-n.r experimen.ally. The geometry structure optimization. frequen.ies (Ir), n.r, electron.c character, fron.ier molecular orbital (HOMO-LUMO) an. first static hyperpolarizability (βtot) studies of reported compoun.s were calculated usin. DFT with B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) level of theory. The calculated HOMO an. LUMO en.rgies showed that charge tran.fer occurs within.the molecule an. from the MEP, the molecular stability an. bon. stren.th have been.explain.d. In.addition.to that in.luen.e of en.rgy gap (?Egap) between.the HOMO-LUMO orbitals on.the first static hyperpolarizability (βtot), we calculated the ?Egap for all the salen.compoun.s. These results reveals that the smaller HOMO-LUMO ?Egap is, larger the βtot is.

This paper presen.s the main.fin.in.s of the effect of in.oor humidity on.occupan.s’ thermal comfort in.the humid tropics of Malaysia. An.exten.ive field in.estigation.was carried out in.Kota Kin.balu city an. the surroun.in. areas, located in.East Malaysia. A total of 890 in.ividuals were asked to complete a question.aire. Measured in.oor climates were also recorded. The survey was design.d as cross section.l data collection. The presen. in.estigation.foun. that the occupan.s were thermally comfortable at wide relative humidity ran.e. The mean.relative humidity correspon.in. to the optimum comfort temperature was close to 73%. regression.models failed to predict accurately the effect of relative humidity on.occupan.s’ thermal perception.. In.addition. a quadratic regression.model was developed for the prediction.of the mean.in.oor relative humidity based on.in.oor temperature. The suggested regression.model can.be used for an.approximate prediction.of in.oor relative humidity when.required.

OVGP1-treated group compared to the n.tive OVGP1-treated group at 2 h, 3 h, an. 4 h of in.ubation. In.this paper, we have presen.ed an.effective method for recogn.zin. partial speech with the help of n.n.Audible Murmur (n.M) microphon. which is robust again.t n.ise. n.M is a kin. of soft murmur that is so weak that even.people n.arby the speaker can.ot hear it. We can.recogn.ze this n.M from the mastoid of human.. It can.be detected on.y with the help of a special type of microphon. termed as n.M microphon.. We can.use this approach for impaired people who can.hear soun. but can.speak on.y partial words (semi-mute) or in.omplete words. We can.record an. recogn.ze partial speech usin. n.M microphon.. This approach can.be used to solve problems for paralysed people who use voice con.rolled wheelchair which helps them to move aroun. without the help of others. The presen. voice con.rolled wheelchair systems can.recogn.ze on.y fully spoken.words an. can.t recogn.se words spoken.by semi-mute or partially speech impaired people. Further it uses n.rmal microphon. which hassevere degradation.an. extern.l n.ise in.luen.e when.used for recogn.zin. partial speech in.uts from impaired people. To overcome this problem, we can.use n.M microphon. alon. with Tamil Speech recogn.tion.En.in. (TSrE) to improve the accuracy of the results. Low sperm n.mbers in.artificial in.emin.tion.(AI)-doses are bein. used widely to make the best use of high gen.tic value bulls as well as sex-sorted semen. Sperm con.en.ration.n.eded for AI to obtain.reason.ble fertility, takin. gen.tic value of bull an. n.merous others compon.n.s in.o con.ideration.is on. of the essen.ial con.tituen.s for successful AI breedin. program. However, low sperm con.en.ration. in.AI-doses lead to reducin. post-thaw viability. The reduction.in.viability of low sperm doses may be affected by fresh semen.volume, sperm n.mber an. semin.l plasma level at fin.l dilution. reduction.in.quality an. fertility of low sperm doses is on. of the limitation. for their use in.successful AI programme. Sperm n.mber per AI required to achieve optimum fertility is on. of the main.crucial thin.s to AI in.ustry, an. n.merous efforts have been.made in.this regard. Due to great variability amon. bulls, sperm n.mber per AI could be a limitin. factor in.achievin. acceptable fertility values. Fertility of low sperm doses may vary amon. bulls, an. n.n.return.rates (n.rs) with low sperm doses may be determin.d by fertility level of bull. On.the basis of in.ividual bulls, sperm n.mbers in.AI doses n.eded to be adjusted to reduce the variation. in.n.rs amon. bulls.
