COVID-19 has spread surprisingly fast worldwide, and new variants continue to emerge. Recently, the World Health Organization acknowledged a new mutant strain “Omicron”, with children were accounting for a growing share of COVID-19 cases compared with other mutant strains. However, the clinical and immunological characteristics of convalescent pediatric patients after Omicron infection were lacking. In this study, we comparatively analyzed the clinical data from pediatric patients with adult patients or healthy children and the effects of SARSCoV-2 vaccine on the clinical and immune characteristics in convalescent pediatric patients. Our results indicated that convalescent pediatric patients had unique clinical and immune characteristics different from those of adult patients or healthy children, and SARS-CoV-2 vaccination significantly affected on the clinical and immune characteristics and the prevention of nucleic acid re-detectable positive(RP) in convalescent patients. Our study further deepens the understanding of the impact of Omicron on the long-term health of pediatric patients and provides a valuable reference for the prevention and treatment of children infected with Omicron.

【目的】研究施用速效氮肥(全铵、全硝、硝铵复合和尿素)对镉(Cd)污染土壤小白菜生长和Cd含量的影响,为合理选择氮肥,缓解Cd对植物生长的胁迫并减少Cd在作物体内的积累提供依据。【方法】以小白菜为试材,采用菜园土进行了盆栽试验。以Cd Cl2溶液模拟土壤Cd胁迫,设土壤Cd含量0、1、3和5 mg/kg4个水平,每个胁迫水平分别供应小白菜铵态氮、硝态氮、硝铵(1∶1)和尿素4种氮形态,总氮添加量均为N400 mg/kg土。收获后分析各处理间小白菜的生长、光合、氧化胁迫及Cd含量的差异。【结果】1)与无Cd对照相比,Cd 1 mg/kg处理水平下,全铵、全硝、硝铵和尿素处理的小白菜可食部分鲜重分别下降了31%、16%、21%和26%;Cd 3 mg/kg处理水平下分别下降了58%、28%、35%和39%;Cd 5 mg/kg处理水平下分别下降了83%、38%、52%和69%。全硝和硝铵处理间小白菜Cd耐受系数(TICd)差异不显著,但均高于全铵和尿素处理。2)与无Cd对照相比,Cd 1 mg/kg处理下,全铵、全硝、硝铵和尿素处理小白菜叶片的光合速率分别下降了14%、10%、12%和13%;Cd 3 mg/kg处理分别下降了33%、22%、25%和40%;Cd 5 mg/kg处理分别下降了53%、42%、41%和56%。与无Cd对照相比,1 mg/kg Cd浓度时全铵、全硝、硝铵和尿素处理小白菜叶片的丙二醛含量分别增加了11%、4%、9%和11%;超氧自由基产生速率分别增加了5%、1%、2%和4%,综合比较,以全硝处理下小白菜受Cd的光合抑制及氧化胁迫相对最小。3)3个Cd处理水平,均以施用全铵和尿素处理的小白菜体内Cd含量最高,硝铵处理次之,全硝处理最低。【结论】在供试菜园土上,小白菜施用铵态氮和尿素易引起Cd在小白菜体内的积累。施用硝态氮可缓解Cd诱导的光合抑制和氧化胁迫,减轻Cd对小白菜的生长胁迫,降低作物体内Cd的含量。

Axially chiral phosphines are a class of extremely important ligands in asymmetric catalysis. Herein, an unprecedented copper（I）-catalyzed asymmetric SNAr reaction with HP（S）R2is uncovered, which delivers a series of axially chiral phosphine derivatives in high yields with excellent enantioselectivity. Furthermore, the diastereoselective reaction with the kinetic resolution of racemic HP（S）ArR proceeds smoothly, providing the products with moderate diastereoselectivity and excellent enantioselectivity. Control experiments indicate that HP（S）Ph2is much more active than HPPh2and HP（O）Ph2as the pronucleophile in the present reaction. It is found that the SNAr reaction （the first SNAr） proceeds in a desymmetric manner, providing the desired chiral products while a continued SNAr reaction （the second SNAr） slightly occurs in a kinetic resolution manner in the present catalytic system, which enhances the ee of the desired chiral products. DFTcalculations support a concerted reaction pathway rather than a step-wise mechanism. Finally, axially chiral olefin-phosphines produced by the present method work as suitable ligands in Pdcatalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution with C-, N-, and O-nucleophiles and Rh-catalyzed asymmetric addition of arylboronic acid to benzil.

Using the exposure simulation experiment, the action of petroleum affecting the accumulation of the trace metals including copper （Cu） and cadmium （Cd） in littoral polychaete Nereis diversicolor collected from the Shuangtaizi Estuary in Liaoning Province, China was examined. The results showed that there was a markedly non-linear relationship between the accumulation of Cu in worms and the experimental concentration of Cu in exposure solutions when the concentration of petroleum remained at 0, 100, and 220 μl/L, respectively. However, significantly non-linear relationship for worms exposed to Cd was observed only when the concentration of added petroleum was 0 and 220 μl/L. The accumulation of Cu in worms did not differ significantly among the three different levels of petroleum concentrations combined with various concentrations of Cu. So was the accumulation of Cd in worms （p〉0.05）. However, the addition of petroleum in exposure solutions brought about an increase in the accumulation of Cu in Nereis diversicolor, in comparison with single Cu pollution. On the other hand, when the concentration of added petroleum remained at 100 μl/L, the accumulation of Cd in worms was lower than that in worms exposed to various concentrations of only cadmium. However, the worms exposed to Cd and petroleum 220 μl/L did not show obvious and identical increase in the accumulation of Cd, compared with single Cd exposure. The accumulation of both Cu and Cd in worms did not increase significantly with the increases in concentrations of Cu or Cd in exposure solutions combined with petroleum （0, 100, and 220μl/L） under the experimental conditions. Although Nereis diversicolor is exposed to very high Cu and Cd in exposure solutions, accumulation and detoxification mechanisms are sufficient to cope with the extra metal influx in order to survive.

Acetochlor and methamidophos are two important agrochemicals which are widely applied to agricultural production in northeast China. The investigation on the earthworm Eisenia fetida as an important type of soil animals exposed to single and binary-combined contamination of acetochlor and methamidophos was thus carried out. The single toxic effect test showed that the two agrochemicals had their toxicity to the earthworms living in phaiozem. Acetochlor had a stronger acute toxic effect on the earthworms than methamidophos. The mortality of the earthworms exposed to individual acetochlor and methamidophos changed with an increase in the exposure time and the exposed concentrations. The LD50 value of acetochlor and methamidophos toxic to the earthworms was 115.6-275,3 and 29.5-228.6 mg/kg, respectively. The weight of the earthworms was a more sensitive index compared to the mortality in indicating toxic effects of acetochlor and methamidophos in phaiozem. When considering both the mortality and the body-weight change, the combined pollution of acetochlor and methamidophos in phaiozem resulted in their synergic toxic effects on the earthworms.

On the basis of ecological principles including holistic optimization, cycling and regeneration, and regional differentiation, land treatment systems (LTSs) for municipal wastewater were continuously explored and updated in the western Shenyang area and the Huolinhe area, China. Intensified pretreatment, addition of a man-made soil filtration layer, and use of an ecologically diversified secondary plant cover were proved to be technically feasible. Hydraulic loading was determined according to the assimilation capacity of soil ecosystems, thus ensuring safe operation of wastewater treatment. This modernized and alternative approach to wastewater treatment had been widely applied in middle-sized and small cities and towns of Northeast China, and these innovative systems in some areas had indicated favorable ecological, social, and economic benefits.

AIM:To investigate the promoter methylation status and mRNA expression of DKK-3 and WIF-1 gene in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS:DKK-3 and WIF-1 acted as Wnt-antagonists and tumor suppressors,but hypermethylation of the gene promoter and low mRNA expression activated Wnt signaling aberrantly and induced the development of *** status of the DKK-3 and WIF-1 gene promoter was investigated using methylation specific polymerase chain reaction(PCR) in tumor and adjacent non-cancerous tissues from 33 HCC patients and 20 normal liver tissues served as *** expression of DKK-3 and WIF-1 mRNA was also determined by real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase *** relationship between methylation,mRNA expression,and clinical data,as well as methylation and mRNA expression of the two genes were ***:The methylation of DKK-3 and WIF-1 genes in HCC increased significantly compared with adjacent non-cancerous tissues and normal control tissues(χ2 =7.79,P < 0.05;χ2 = 4.89,P < 0.05),and no significant difference in methylation between adjacent non-cancerous tissues and normal control tissues was *** HCC tissues,significant differences in the DKK-3 promoter methylation were observed in age and cirrhosis,and significant differences of the WIF-1 promoter methylation were observed in HBsAg and *** average expression of DKK-3 mRNA in HCC and adjacent non-cancerous tissues was increased significantly compared with normal control *** average expression of WIF-1 mRNA showed no significant difference among the three *** mRNA expression of DKK-3 gene in HCC was decreased as the pathological grade ***:The aberrant promoter methylation and decreased expression of DKK-3 and WIF-1 may be an important mechanism in HCC,and may be a far-reaching significance in early diagnosis and therapy of HCC.

Ecological effects of crude oil residues on the functional diversity of soil microorganisms in three weed rhizospheres

Ecological effects of crude oil residues on weed rhizospheres are still vague. The quantitative and diversity changes and metabolic responses of soil-bacterial communities in common dandelion （Taraxacum officinale）, jerusalem artichoke （Silphiurn perfoliatum L.） and evening primrose （A colypha australis L.） rhizospheric soils were thus examined using the method of carbon source utilization. The results indicated that there were various toxic effects of crude oil residues on the growth and reproduction of soil bacteria, but the weed rhizospheres could mitigate the toxic effects. Total heterotrophic counting colony-forming units （CFUs） in the rhizospheric soils were significantly higher than those in the non-rhizospheric soils. The culturable soil-bacterial CFUs in the jerusalem artichoke （S. perfoliatum） rhizosphere polluted with 0.50 kg/pot of crude oil residues were almost twice as much as those with 0.25 kg/pot and without the addition of crude oil residues. The addition of crude oil residues increased the difference in substrate evenness, substrate richness, and substrate diversity between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of T. officinale and A. australis, but there was no significant （p〉0.05） difference in the Shannon＇s diversity index between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of S. perfoliatum. The rhizospheric response of weed species to crude oil residues suggested that S. perfoliatum may be a potential weed species for the effective plant-microorganism bioremediation of contaminated soils by crude oil residues.

A simple and sensitive electrogenerated chemiluminescence(ECL)sensor array was developed for the discrimination of three biothiols,including homocysteine(Hcy),cysteine(Cys)and glutathione(GSH)using two bis-cyclometalated Ir(Ⅲ)complexes as ECL *** aldehyde groups bearing bis-cyclometalated Ir(Ⅲ)complexes were selected as ECL probes,including[(bt)2Ir(phen-CHO)]PF_(6)(bt=2-phenylbenzothiazole,phen-CHO=1,10-phenanthroline-5-carboxaldehyde,probe 1)and[(ppy)_(2)Ir(phen-CHO)]PF_(6)(ppy=2-phenylpyridine,probe 2).A“signal on”ECL method was proposed for biothiols assay based on the increase in ECL intensity of two ECL probes by *** biothiols can be detected with detection limits of 0.8,0.7 and 0.8μM by probe 1 and 0.3,0.4 and 0.5μM by probe 2 for Cys,Hcy and GSH,***-element sensor array was assembled for the detection of three biothiols due to the different enhancement effects of biothiols on the ECL intensity of two ECL *** ECL sensor array combining with the principal component analysis was applied to discriminate three *** study demonstrates that the ECL sensor array using dual ECL reagents provides a promis-ing way for the discrimination of multiple biothiols with good sensitivity and simpleness.
