The design of novel materials for sulfur dioxide(SO_(2))capture and conversion with considerable efficiency under mild conditions is of great significance for human health and environmental protection yet highly ***,we report a series of triazine-based multicomponent metallacages via coordination-driven self-assembly of 2,4,6-tri(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine,cis-Pt(PEt3)2(OTf)2 and different tetracarboxylic *** the increase of the length of the tetracarboxylates,the structures of the metallacages change from pyramids to extended *** to their N-rich structure,these metallacages are further used for selective SO_(2)capture,showing good adsorption capacity and remarkable SO_(2)/CO_(2)selectivity in ambient conditions,suggesting their potential applications toward real flue gas *** metallacages are further employed for the conversion of SO_(2)into value-added compounds,showing exceptional efficiency even dilute SO_(2)is used as the *** study represents a type of structure-tunable triazinebased metallacages for SO_(2)capture and conversion,which will pave the way on the applications of metal-organic complexes for gas adsorption.

Importance:Postzygotic mutations in the GNAQ/GNA11 genes,which encode the G-protein nucleotide binding protein alpha subunits,have been identified in patients with phakomatosis pigmentovascularis(PPV).However,little is known about the Chinese ***:To identify pathogenic mutations in pediatric patients with PPV within the Chinese ***:We performed whole-exome sequencing(WES)using skin lesion tissues from pediatric patients diagnosed with ***,ultradeep-targeted sequencing was conducted to validate the somatic mutations.A genotype-phenotype correlation was analyzed by integrating data from previous reports with the findings of the present ***:Thirteen patients were enrolled,all diagnosed with the cesioflammea type of PPV,except for one patient with an unclassifiable *** identified somatic GNA11 c.547C>T(p.R183C)variant in seven patients and GNAQ c.548G>A(p.R183Q)in four patients,with low allelic fractions ranging from 2.1%to 8.6%through ultradeep ***,a GNAQ c.548G>A(p.R183Q)variant was detected through targeted sequencing in one of two patients who did not exhibit detectable variants via *** genotype-phenotype correlation analysis,involving 15 patients with a GNA11 variant and 10 with a GNAQ variant,revealed that facial capillary malformation(87%vs.50%,P=0.075)and ocular melanocytosis(80%vs.40%,P=0.087)appeared to be more frequent in patients with GNA11 mutation compared to those with GNAQ *** four patients diagnosed with cesiomarmorata type or overlapping cesioflammea and cesiomarmorata type PPV carried the GNA11 ***:Our study demonstrated that the majority of PPV patients in the Chinese population carried a postzygotic variant of GNAQ/GNA11,thus further confirming the pathogenic role of GNAQ/GNA11 mosaicism in the development of PPV cesioflammea type.

Background Schistosoma japonicum is a parasitic flatworm that causes human schistosomiasis, which is a significant cause of morbidity in China, the Philippines and *** hupensis (Gastropoda: Pomatiopsidae) is the unique intermediate host ofS. japonicum. A complete genome sequence ofO. hupensis will enable the fundamental understanding of snail biology as well as its co-evolution with theS. japonicum parasite. Assembling a high-quality reference genome ofO. hupehensis will provide data for further research on the snail biology and controlling the spread ofS. *** The draft genome was de novo assembly using the long-read sequencing technology (PacBio Sequel II) and corrected with Illumina sequencing data. Then, using Hi-C sequencing data, the genome was assembled at the chromosomal level. CAFE was used to do analysis of contraction and expansion of the gene family and CodeML module in PAML was used for positive selection analysis in protein coding *** A total length of 1.46 Gb high-qualityO. hupensis genome with 17 unique full-length chromosomes (2n = 34) of the individual including a contig N50 of 1.35 Mb and a scaffold N50 of 75.08 Mb. Additionally, 95.03% of these contig sequences were anchored in 17 chromosomes. After scanning the assembled genome, a total of 30,604 protein-coding genes were predicted. Among them, 86.67% were functionally annotated. Further phylogenetic analysis revealed thatO. hupensis was separated from a common ancestor ofPomacea canaliculata andBellamya purificata approximately 170 million years ago. Comparing the genome ofO. hupensis with its most recent common ancestor, it showed 266 significantly expanded and 58 significantly contracted gene families (P < 0.05). Pectin is a major constituent of the plant cell *** lyase(PEL,EC 4.***.2.2)uses anti-β-elimination chemistry to cleave theα-1,4 glycosidic linkage in the homogalacturonan region of ***,limited information is available on the comprehensive and evolutionary analysis of PELs in the *** this study,we identified 597PEL genes from 10 Malvaceae *** and motif analyses revealed that these PELs are classified into six subfamilies:Clades I,II,III,IV,Va,and *** two largest subfamilies,Clades I and II,contained 237 and222 PEL members,*** members of Clades Va and Vb only contained four or five motifs,far fewer than the other *** duplication analysis showed that segmental duplication played a crucial role in the expansion of the PEL gene family in Gossypium *** PELs from Clades I,IV,Va,and Vb were expressed during the fiber elongation stage,but nearly all PEL genes from Clades II and III showed no expression in any of the investigated fiber developmental *** further performed single-gene haplotype association analysis in 2,*** accessions and 229 *** ***,14 PELs were significantly associated with fiber length and strength traits in *** with superior fiber quality,while only eight GhPEL genes were found to be significantly associated with fiber quality traits in *** findings provide important information for further evolutionary and functional research on the PEL gene family members and their potential use for fiber quality improvement in cotton.

Immune evasion has made ovarian cancer notorious for its refractory features, making the development of immunotherapy highly appealing to ovarian cancer treatment. The immune-stimulating cytokine IL-12 exhibits excellent antitumor activities. However, IL-12 can induce IFN-γ release and subsequently upregulate PDL-1 expression on tumor cells. Therefore, the tumor-targeting folate-modified delivery system F-DPC is constructed for concurrent delivery of IL-12 encoding gene and small molecular PDL-1 inhibitor(i PDL-1) to reduce immune escape and boost anti-tumor immunity. The physicochemical characteristics, gene transfection efficiency of the F-DPC nanoparticles in ovarian cancer cells are analyzed. The immune-modulation effects of combination therapy on different immune cells are also studied. Results show that compared with non-folate-modified vector, folate-modified F-DPC can improve the targeting of ovarian cancer and enhance the transfection efficiency of p IL-12. The underlying anti-tumor mechanisms include the regulation of T cells proliferation and activation, NK activation,macrophage polarization and DC maturation. The F-DPC/p IL-12/i PDL-1 complexes have shown outstanding antitumor effects and low toxicity in peritoneal model of ovarian cancer in mice. Taken together, our work provides new insights into ovarian cancer immunotherapy. Novel F-DPC/p IL-12/i PDL-1 complexes are revealed to exert prominent anti-tumor effect by modulating tumor immune microenvironment and preventing immune escape and might be a promising treatment option for ovarian cancer treatment.
