Intro.uctio.: Radio.o.ical investigatio. which is the go.d standard to.perfo.m fo.lo.ing anasto.o.ic urethro.lasty in o.der to.evaluate the quality o. micturitio. is co.tly. In o.r co.text, due to.financial limitatio.s, reco.structive uro.o.ists prefer to.use the uro.lo.metry in o.der to.assess the micturitio. po.t-surgery. Therefo.e, the o.jective o. the study was to.assess the quality o. micturitio. using the uro.lo.metry after anasto.o.ic urethro.lasty. Metho.o.o.y: We co.ducted an 11-year retro.pective review (1st January 2006-31st December 2017) and a cro.s-sectio.al descriptive o.servatio.al study fo. a perio. o. 8 mo.ths (No.ember 2017-June 2018) at the Uro.o.y and Andro.o.y Department o. the Yao.nde Central Ho.pital (YCH) o. patients who.were diagno.ed with urethral steno.is and underwent an anasto.o.ic urethro.lasty at the YCH. We excluded patients who.had inco.plete files, patients lo.t to.fo.lo.-up and did no. do.pre-o.erative uro.lo.metry. Quality o. micturitio. was evaluated using a uro.lo.metry. Data was analyzed using EPI info.7.0. Parametric variables were repo.ted as means and standard deviatio.s and percentages and co.nts were used to.repo.t catego.ical variables. Results: We had a sample o. 60 patients. The mean age was 42 ± 5 years with extremes ranging fro. 20 to.76 years. Twenty-seven (27) patients, o. 45%, had no.po.t-o.erative co.plicatio.s, and tho.e who.did had a urinary tract infectio. (26.70%). In o.r series, we had 82% excellent results (patient satisfied with his urinatio. with bell-shaped urinary stream and urinary flo. greater than o. equal to.15 ml/sec);15% go.d results (patient with mo.erate dysuria with average urinary stream and urinary flo. between 10 and 14.9 ml/sec) and 3% po.r results (severe dysuria with urinary flo. less than 10 ml/sec, urinary retentio. o. urinary inco.tinence). Based o. these results we can say that the success rate in o.r series was 97%. 96.70% o. patients were satisfied against 3.3%

Backgro.nd: Type 2 diabetes is a metabo.ic disease characterized by chro.ic hyperglycemia. The latter plays an essential ro.e in inflammatio. by stimulating the pro.uctio. o. pro.inflammato.y cyto.ines o. by increasing their secretio. by an o.idative mechanism. These cyto.ines co.tro. the hepatic synthesis o. an inflammato.y pro.ein called C-Reactive Pro.ein (CRP). High o. average values o. CRP wo.ld have a predictive value o. cardio.ascular diseases and type 2 diabetes. The relatio.ship between lo. CRP values and the risk o. develo.ing type 2 diabetes and its cardio.ascular co.plicatio.s is no. sufficiently studied. The hsCRP co.ld serve as a predictive bio.arker o. risk o. o.set, fo.lo.-up and pro.no.is fo. type 2 diabetes and its cardio.ascular co.plicatio.s. To.answer this pro.lem, we co.ducted this study, the aim o. which was to.study the predictive ro.e o. hsCRP in the risk o. o.currence o. type 2 diabetes and its cardio.ascular co.plicatio.s. Materials and Metho.s: This is a pro.pective and cro.s-sectio.al case-co.tro. study invo.ving 200 participants including 100 co.tro. wo.en and 100 wo.en with type 2 diabetes (mean age was respectively 49.89 years ± 8.26 & 51.92 years ± 7.18;p = 0.066). The interviews were co.ducted o. the basis o. a questio.naire. Physical examinatio. co.lected bio.etric data and cardio.ascular co.stants. The bio.hemical parameters such as hsCRP were analyzed by an auto.ated Abbo.t device. Results: We no.ed that hsCRP was significantly higher in type 2 diabetic subjects co.pared to.co.tro. subjects (p (rho.= 0.40, p systo.ic blo.d pressure (rho.= 0.30, p = 0.003), diasto.ic blo.d pressure (rho.= 0.28, p = 0.006), to.al bo.y fat (rho.= 0.48, p Co.clusio.: hsCRP has a pro.no.tic value in the evaluatio. o. cardio.ascular risk. Intro.uctio.: Mandibular fractures in children are beco.ing increasingly co.mo.. Treatment o. these fractures is difficult due to.their anato.ical and physio.o.ical co.plexity. Therefo.e, there is a need fo. well-co.ified management. o.r main aim was to.develo. a decisio. algo.ithm fo. the management o. mandibular fractures in children based o. o.r experience. Materials and Metho.s: This was a retro.pective descriptive study carried o.t in the Department o. Sto.ato.o.y and Maxillo.acial Surgery at the University Ho.pital o. Co.o.y o.er a perio. o. 20 years (2000-2019). Results: We enro.led 58 patients. The mean age o. the patients was 9.35 ± 2.3 years with a sex ratio.o. 2.22. Traffic accidents were the main cause o. mandibular fractures (60.35%). Co.dylar fractures were the mo.t co.mo. (46.87%). Treatment was o.tho.edic in 45.76% o. cases, mixed (o.tho.edic and surgical) in 24.14% and surgical in 5.17%. Patients were fo.lo.ed up weekly fo. 1 mo.th, then mo.thly fo. 6 mo.ths and annually fo. 3 years, with pano.amic radio.raphs o. the maxilla starting at 21 days. We o.served 2 cases o. co.plicatio.s: tempo.o.andibular ankylo.is and gingival sto.atitis. Co.clusio.: Mandibular fractures are co.mo. in children. Management is difficult due to.anato.ical and physio.o.ical peculiarities. The cho.ce o. treatment depends o. several criteria.

The rando. decrement technique （RDT）, intro.uced in the sixties by Co.e [NASA CR- 2005, 1973], is a very perfo.ming metho. o. analysis fo. vibratio. signature o. a structure under ambient lo.ding. But the real nature o. the rando. decrement signature has been misundersto.d until no.. Mo.eo.er, the vario.s interpretatio.s were made in co.tinuo.s time setting, while real experimental data are o.tained in discrete time. In this paper, the really implemental discrete time algo.ithms are studied. The asympto.ic analysis as the number o. triggering po.nts go.to.infinity is achieved, and a Law o. Large Numbers as well as a Central Limit Theo.em is pro.ed. Mo.eo.er, the limit as the discretizatio. time step go.s to.zero.is co.puted, giving mo.e tractable fo.mulas to.appro.imate the rando. decrement.
