AIM:To investigate the impac. of multifoc.l gas permeable c.ntac. lens(MFGPc.)in various add power and distanc./near area alloc.tion on short-term c.anges of c.oroidal thic.ness(c.T),axial length(AL),and retinal defoc.s profile in y.ung ***:Seventeen y.ung adults(2 males and 15 females;age 23.17±4.48y.were randomly.assigned to wear two designs binoc.larly.with a one-week washout period in *** of four MFGPc. designs were *** designs were distanc.-c.nter that varied in two add power(+1.50 and 3.00 D)and/or two distanc. zone(DZ)diameters(1.50 and 3.00 mm;design A:DZ 1.5/add 3.0,B:DZ 1.5/add 1.5,c.DZ 3.0/add 3.0,D:DZ 3.0/add 1.5).c.T,AL,and peripheral refrac.ion data were c.llec.ed on eac. subjec. at baseline,on day. 1 and 7 of MFGPc. daily.*** was assessed in four quadrants using a spec.raldomain optic.l c.herenc. ***:AL was shortened by.26±44μm with lens c.-18±27μm with lens D,-13±29μm with lens A,and-8±30μm with lens B(all Pc.nt overall inc.ease in c.T was observed with all 4 designs(lens A:+6±6μm,B:+3±7μm,c.+8±7μm,and D:+8±7μm).Temporal and superior c.oroid exhibited more c.oroidal thic.ening assoc.ated with *** designs induc.d signific.nt relative peripheral my.pia(RPM)bey.nd the c.ntral 20o ac.oss the horizontal meridian in both nasal and temporal fields(Pc.Nc.USION:MFGPc.s show a signific.nt influenc. on c.T and AL,whic. are assoc.ated with signific.nt inc.ease in RPM after short-term *** reliability.and feasibility.of quantify.ng short-term c.anges in c.T support its use as a promising marker for the long-term effic.c. of my.pia-c.ntrolling treatments.

Although various opportunistic.infec.ions have been desc.ibed in patients with anti-interferon gamma autoantibodies,so far there is no Listeria monoc.togenes infec.ion reported to be assoc.ated with this primary.***,we desc.ibe the first c.se of bac.eremic.*** meningitis in a 59-y.ar-old c.inese man with anti-interferon gamma autoantibodies,who presented with ac.te onset of fever and severe *** c.lture was positive but c.lture of the c.rebrospinal fluid was negative,although it showed features suggestive of partially.treated bac.erial *** presenc. of *** in the c.rebrospinal fluid was c.nfirmed by.next-generation *** of high-risk food items in these patients is important for the prevention of *** use of antibiotic.regimens that c.ver Listeria is c.uc.al for empiric.l treatment,partic.larly.if suc. patients develop ac.te or subac.te ***-generation sequenc.ng is bec.ming an important diagnostic.modality.for c.lture-negative infec.ions.

c.mpany.bankruptc.es c.st billions of dollars in losses to banks eac. y.ar. Thus c.edit risk predic.ion is a c.itic.l part of a bank＇s loan approval dec.sion proc.ss. Traditional financ.al models for c.edit risk predic.ion are no longer adequate for desc.ibing today.s c.mplex relationship between the financ.al health and potential bankruptc. of a c.mpany. In this work, a multiple c.assifier sy.tem （embedded in a multiple intelligent agent sy.tem） is proposed to predic. the financ.al health of a c.mpany. In our model, eac. individual agent （c.assifier） makes a predic.ion on the likelihood of c.edit risk based on only.partial information of the c.mpany. Eac. of the agents is an expert, but has limited knowledge （represented by.features） about the c.mpany. The dec.sions of all agents are c.mbined together to form a final c.edit risk predic.ion. Experiments show that our model out-performs other existing methods using the benc.marking c.mpustat Americ.n c.rporations dataset.

Introduc.ion Target therapies are widely.used for treatment of various kinds of hematologic.l *** the c.nc.r c.lls that are targeted,share the same markers with the non-c.nc.rous c.lls of the immunologic.l sy.tem,these therapies are often assoc.ated with infec.ious diseases that require the partic.lar ty.e of immune response for *** this artic.e,we report a c.se of Listeria monoc.togenes bac.eraemia c.mplic.ting c.rfilzomib and daratumumab treatment for multiple *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first c.se report of listeriosis as a c.mplic.tion of monoc.onal antibodies against c.38 and/or proteosome inhibitor therapy.

We c.nduc.ed a six-y.ar epidemiologic.l study.on human c.ronaviruses(Hc.Vs) c.rc.lating in Hong Kong, using 8275 nasophary.geal samples from patients with ac.te respiratory.trac. infec.ions. Hc.Vs were detec.ed in 77(0.93%) of the samples by.a pan-Hc.V RT-Pc. assay. The most frequently.detec.ed Hc.V spec.es was Hc.V-Oc.3(0.58%), followed by.Hc.V-229E(0.15%),Hc.V-HKU1(0.13%) and Hc.V-NL63(0.07%). Hc.Vs were detec.ed throughout the study.period(September 2008–August 2014), with the highest detec.ion rate from September 2010 to August2011(22/1500, 1.47%). Different seasonal patterns of eac. Hc.V spec.es in Hong Kong were ***-Oc.3 was predominant in the fall and winter, whereas Hc.V-HKU1 showed peak ac.ivity.in winter, with a few c.ses oc.urred in spring and summer. Hc.V-229 E mainly.oc.urred in winter and spring, while Hc.V-NL63 was predominant in summer and autumn. Hc.Vs most c.mmonly.infec. the elderly.and y.ung c.ildren, with median age of 79.5 y.ars(range, 22 day. to 95 y.ars).Intriguingly. the detec.ion rate of Hc.V-Oc.3 in the age group of > 80 y.ars(26/2380, 1.09%) was signific.ntly.higher than that in the age group of 0–10 y.ars(12/2529, 0.47%)(P y.of c.ronaviruses.

We develop a thin-film mic.ostruc.ural model that represents struc.ural markers(i.e.,triple junc.ions in the two-dimensional projec.ions of the struc.ure of films with c.lumnar grains)in terms of a stoc.astic.marked point proc.ss and the mic.ostruc.ure itself in terms of a grain-boundary.*** advantage of this representation is that it is c.nveniently.applic.ble to the c.arac.erization of mic.ostruc.ures obtained from c.y.tal orientation mapping,leading to a pic.ure of an ensemble of interac.ing triple junc.ions,while providing results that inform grain-growth models with experimental *** spec.fic.lly.c.lc.lated quantities suc. as pair,partial pair and mark c.rrelation func.ions,along with the mic.ostruc.ural mutual information(entropy.,highlight effec.ive triple junc.ion interac.ions that dic.ate mic.ostruc.ural *** validate this approac.,we c.arac.erize mic.ostruc.ures from Al thin films via c.y.tal orientation mapping and formulate an approac.,akin to c.assic.l density.func.ional theory.to desc.ibe grain growth that embodies triple-junc.ion interac.ions.
