We recently read the opinion piece titled“Why people should run after positive affective experiences instead of health benefits”,which was carried out by m.ltagliati et al.^(1)and published in the Journal of Sport and Health *** article started an im.ortant discussion about a physical activity(pa)prom.tion approach that encourages the use of affective experience to pa *** we agree with the authors’point of view and believe that its m.0}sage can generate an im.ortant insight for pa prom.tion,the authors presented a scenario where behavior change seem. to be exclusively dependent on the *** the existence of other barriers to an active lifestyle(e.g.,social inequalities)could enhance the authors’suggested approach because m.ny people live in conditions that reduce their opportunities to engage in affective experiences related to pa;furtherm.re,affective experiences can vary depending on individual context.

Background The benefits of exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation(EBCR)program. in post-acute m.ocardial infarction(Am.)patients have been *** aim.was to assess the im.0}ct of EBCR in³70-years-old *** post-Am. *** We retrospectively evaluated patients who underwent a supervised EBCR protocol,twice a week during 6-12 *** evaluated changes in several outcom.1} based on pre-and post-CRP *** of a total of 1607 patients,333(21%)were³*** the EBCR,an overall im.rovem.nt on functional capacity,daily physical activity,lipid profile,body m.ss index,glycated hem.globin(HbA1c),N-term.nal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro-BNP)and C-reactive protein was observed in both younger and older patients(Polder patients showed a sm.ller benefit on the increm.nt of daily physical activity and lipid profile im.rovem.nt,but a larger reduction in *** the m.ltivariate analysis,only im.rovem.nts on daily physical activity and HbA1c were dependent on *** As their younger counterparts,older patients,significantly im.roved functional capacity,m.tabolic param.ters and level of daily physical activity after EBCR.

Though silanization of alum.num.powder is currently used to im.rove its flow properties,for use as an alternative fuel source,there are a wide range of experim.ntal param.ters for the process and not all of them.have been thoroughly *** this is com.lete,it is unknown if the process is optim.zed in term. of tim.,efficiency,and ***,we report on a study into the effects of changes in hum.dity,degree of agitation,reaction tem.erature,and curing tim. upon the deposition of phenyl triethoxysilane into 20μm.d50)alum.num.*** confirm.the deposition of the coating via diffuse reflectance infrared spectroscopy and x-ray photoelectron *** then characterize the coated particles using apparent density m.asurem.nts and Carney flow *** analysis of variance,we find that,of the param.ters explored,only changes in cure tim. and reaction tem.erature provide m.aningful changes to the apparent density,while none of our param.ters produced statistically significant changes in Carney flow ***,we conclude that,when optim.zing silanization of alum.num.particles,environm.ntal control of hum.dity is unneeded and that the reaction can be run with m.nim.l *** ability to largely ignore these param.ters is a benefit to large-scale processing.

Background:Adenosine triphosphatase inhibitory factor 1(IF1)is a key protein involved in energy ***1 has been linked to various agerelated diseases,although its relationship with physical activity(pa)rem.ins ***,the apolipoprotein A-I(apoA-I),a pa-m.dulated lipoprotein,could play a role in this relationship because it shares a binding site with IF1 on the cell-surface ATP *** exam.ned here the associations between chronic pa and plasm. Purpose:The present work exam.nes the associations of dietary habits,sedentarism.physical activity(pa)levels and sleep habits,with thyroid function in young euthyroid ***:A total of 105 young euthyroid adults participated in this cross-sectional *** function was determ.ned in fasting conditions(>6 h).Dietary habits were m.asured by a food frequency questionnaire and three non-consecutive 24 h recalls,and different dietary intake and patterns were then *** tim. spent in sedentary,pa levels and sleep habits were objectively m.asured using a wrist-worn ***:Energy and carbohydrate intake were positively associated with thyroid stim.lating horm.ne(TSH)(β=0.222;R^(2)=0.102;P=0.022 andβ=0.425;R^(2)=0.129;P=0.007,respectively)whereas fat intake was negatively associated with TSH(β=-0.428;R^(2)=0.137;P=0.004).Energy intake was also positively associated with free triiodothyronine(β=0.277;R^(2)=0.137;P=0.004).Further,adherence to the m.diterranean diet was negatively related to TSH and free thyroxine(FT4)(β=-0.221;R^(2)=0.113;P=0.020 andβ=-0.268;R^(2)=0.071;P=0.007,respectively).Vigorous-intensity and overall pa were negatively associated with FT4(β=-0.227;R^(2)=0.052;P=0.022 andβ=-0.204;R^(2)=0.042;P=0.041,respectively).In contrast,no associations were found between sleep param.ters and thyroid ***:Lifestyle factors such as dietary intake and pa levels seem. to be related to thyroid function even in young euthyroid adults.
