Forced degradation study of argatroban under conditions of hydrolysis(neutral, acidic and alkaline), oxidation,photolysis and thermal stress, as suggested in the ICH Q1 A(R2), was accomplished. The drug showed significant degradation under hydrolysis(acidic, alkaline) and oxidation(peroxide stress) conditions. The drug remained stable under thermal and photolytic stress conditions. In total, seven novel degradation products(Dp-1 to Dp-7) were found under diverse conditions, which were not reported earlier. The chemical structures of these degradation products were characterized by ~1H NMR,^(13)C NMR, 2 D NMR, Q-TOF-MSnand IR spectral analysis and the proposed degradation products structures were further confirmed by the individual synthesis.

Optical and structural properties of highly porous shell structured Fe doped TiO_2 thin films

TiO2thin films with 0.2 wt%, 0.4 wt%, 0.6wt%, and 0.8 wt% Fe were prepared on glass and silicon substrates using sol–gel spin coating technique. The optical cut-off points are increasingly red-shifted and the absorption edge is shifted over the higher wavelength region with Fe content increasing. As Fe content increases, the optical band gap decreases from 3.03 to 2.48 eV whereas the tail width increases from 0.26 to 1.43 eV. The X-ray diffraction（XRD） patterns for doped films at 0.2 wt% and0.8 wt% Fe reveal no characteristic peaks, indicating that the film is amorphous whereas undoped TiO2exhibits（101） orientation with anatase phase. Thin films of higher Fe content exhibit a homogeneous, uniform, and nanostructured highly porous shell morphology.

Simultaneous quantification of Lamivudine and Zidovudine in tablets by HpTLC method was developed and *** chromatograms were developed using a mobile phase of toluene:ethyl acetate:methanol (4:4:2,v/v/v) on pre-coated plate of silica gel GF aluminum TLC plate and quantified by densitometric absorbance mode at 276 *** R f values were 0.4170.03 and 0.6070.04 for Lamivudine and Zidovudine,*** linearity of the method was found to be within the concentration range of 50 250 ng/spot for Lamivudine and for Zidovudine,it was 100 500 ng/*** lower limits of detection and quantification were 2.23 ng/spot and 7.90 ng/spot for Lamivudine and 2.90 ng/spot and 8.85 ng/spot for *** method was also validated for precision,specificity and *** developed method was used to analyze fixed-dose tablets (Duovir,Cipla Ltd) samples of Lamivudine and Zidovudine.

An innovative approach to minimize excess sludge production in sewage treatment using integrated bioreactors

The present investigation deals with an application of integrated sequential oxic and anoxic bioreactor（SOABR） and fluidized immobilized cell carbon oxidation（FICCO） reactor for the treatment of domestic wastewater with minimum sludge generation. The performance of integrated SOABR-FICCO system was evaluated on treating the domestic wastewater at hydraulic retention time（HRT） of 3 hr and 6 hr for 120 days at organic loading rate（OLR）of 191 ± 31 mg/（L·hr）. The influent wastewater was characterized by chemical oxygen demand（COD） 573 ± 93 mg/L; biochemical oxygen demand（BOD5） 197 ± 35 mg/L and total suspended solids（TSS） 450 ± 136 mg/L. The integrated SOABR-FICCO reactors have established a significant removal of COD by 94% ± 1%, BOD5 by 95% ± 0.6% and TSS by 95% ± 4% with treated domestic wastewater characteristics COD 33 ± 5 mg/L; BOD59 ± 0.8 mg/L and TSS 17 ± 9 mg/L under continuous mode of operation for 120 days. The mass of dry sludge generated from SOABR-FICCO system was 22.9 g/m3. The sludge volume index of sludge formed in the SOABR reactor was 32 mL/g and in FICCO reactor it was 46 mL/g. The sludge formed in SOABR and FICCO reactor was characterized by TGA, DSC and SEM analysis. Overall, the results demonstrated that the integrated SOABR-FICCO reactors substantially removed the pollution parameters from domestic wastewater with minimum sludge production.

A brain tumor is the uncharacteristic progression of tissues in the *** are very deadly,and if it is not diagnosed at an early stage,it might shorten the affected patient’s life ***,their classification and detection play a critical role in *** Brain tumor detection is done by biopsy which is quite *** is usually not preferred at an early stage of the *** detection involvesMagneticResonance Imaging(MRI),which is essential for evaluating the *** paper aims to identify and detect brain tumors based on their location in the *** order to achieve this,the paper proposes a model that uses an extended deep Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)named Contour Extraction based Extended EfficientNet-B0(CE-EEN-B0)which is a feed-forward neural network with the efficient net layers;three convolutional layers and max-pooling layers;and finally,the global average pooling *** site of tumors in the brain is one feature that determines its effect on the functioning of an ***,this CNN architecture classifies brain tumors into four categories:No tumor,pituitary tumor,Meningioma tumor,andGlioma *** network provides an accuracy of 97.24%,a precision of 96.65%,and an F1 score of 96.86%which is better than already existing pre-trained networks and aims to help health professionals to cross-diagnose an MRI *** model will undoubtedly reduce the complications in detection and aid radiologists without taking invasive steps.

Introduction:Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is a common problem in worldwide and untreated CSOM leads to fatal complications like facial nerve paralysis,lateral sinus thrombosis,labyrinthitis,meningitis and brain abscess in developing country like ***:To isolate causative bacteria and antibiotic sensitivity pattern for CSOM and to know the prevalence of extended spectrum beta lactamases (ESBL) and Metallobetalactamases (MBL) in CSOM ***:A total of 500 ear swabs of clinical suspected CSOM patients were cultured on specific cultured medium and identified the bacteria with conventional *** all the identified bacteria were subjected with specific antibiotics by the Kirby-Bauer's method to know the resistance pattern of *** and MBL strains were detected by double disc diffusion ***:A total of 384 bacteria were isolated from 500 CSOM patients,among them 86 *** (22.40%),112 Staphylococcus aureus (29.17%),53 *** (13.80%),32 *** (18%),26 *** (6.77%),24 *** (6.25%),23 *** (5.99%),18 *** (4.69%) and 10 *** (2.60%) identified with conventional *** antibiotic disc diffusion methods 74.22% ESBL strains and 9.90%MBL strains were *** resistant strains of *** (86/384,22.40%) were more prevalent than those of *** (112/384,29.17%) and other bacteria in ear *** and vancomicin could control to gram negative bacteria and gram positive bacteria ***:Continuous and periodic evaluation of microbiological profile and antimicrobial sensitivity pattern of bacterial is essential for optimum management of CSOM patients.

Staghorn calculi are branched stones which occupy a majority portion of the pelvicaliceal *** untreated staghorn calculus over time can damage the kidney and deteriorate its function and/or cause life threatening *** stone clearance is an important goal in order to eradicate any infective focus,relieve obstruction,prevent recurrence and preserve the kidney *** nephrolithotomy(pCNL)is currently the accepted first-line treatment option for staghorn *** options available are single-tract pCNL with an auxiliary procedure like shockwave lithotripsy,single-tract pCNL with flexible nephroscopy,or multitract *** has its own pros and *** the ultimate goal of treatment for any patient with staghorn calculi should be safety,cost-effectiveness,and to achieve total stone *** this article,we review the management of staghorn calculi with multiple percutaneous(“multitract”)access,its advantages and disadvantages and its current position by studying the various published materials across the globe.
