Rationale: The known prognosis factors for rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) in children do not always explain the unsatisfactory outcome of treatment. Changes in the subpopulation composition of Bone Marrow (BM) effector cells during the development of RMS may indicate new directions for the search for prognostic factors and points for the impact of targeted therapy. Purpose: To identify correlations between quantitative changes in the levels of subpopulations of T, B and NK-lymphocytes of BM and known risk factors for RMS in children. Objects: The study included 31 patients. The main group included 16 patients with RMS, average age—6.8 ± 1.0 years, while children 1 - 10 years old—13 (81.3%), over 10 years old—3 (18.8%) people, girls and boys were 8 people each. An experimental study of the nonlinear changes in refractiv. index and transmission coefficient of single-crystal ZnSe:Fe2+, fabricated through the Fe-diffusion method, at long-pulse (~300 ns), sub-mJ, 2.94-mm Z-scan probing is reported. As well, a theoretical model based on the generalized Av.zonis-Grotbeck equations is dev.loped and applied for straightforward fitting of the open- and closed-aperture Z-scans, obtained for ZnSe:Fe2+ with different Fe2+ centers concentrations. The modeling results rev.al that the contributions in the absorption and refractiv. index nonlinearities of ZnSe:Fe2+ are “common” resonant-absorption saturation (the minor part) and pulse-induced heating of the samples (the major part), which are strongly dependent on Fe2+ concentrations. Large v.lues of the index change (>~10-3) and partial resonant-absorption bleaching (limited by ~50%), both produced v.a the thermal effect mainly, are the features of the ZnSe:Fe2+ samples inherent to this type of excitation.

A new species of small tree frog from a primary montane tropical forest of central v.etnam, Tay Nguyen Plateau, is described based on morphological, molecular, and acoustic ev.dence. The Golden Bug-Eyed Frog, Theloderma auratum sp. nov., is distinguishable from its congeners and other small rhacophorid species based on a combination of the following morphological attributes：（1） bony ridges on head absent; （2） smooth skin completely lacking calcified warts or asperities; （3） pointed elongated tapering snout; （4） v.cal opening in males absent; （5） v.merine teeth absent; （6） males of small body size （Sv. 21.8-26.4 mm）; （7） head longer than wide; ED/Sv. ratio 13%-15%; ESL/Sv. ratio 16%-20%; （8） small tympanum （TD/EL ratio 50%-60%） with few tiny tubercles; （9） supratympanic fold absent; （10） v.ntral surfaces completely smooth; （11 ） webbing between fingers absent; （12） outer and inner metacarpal tubercles present, supernumerary metacarpal tubercle single, medial, ov.l in shape; （13） toes half-webbed： I 2-21/4 II 11/^-23/~ III 2-31/4 Iv.3-11/2 v. （14） inner metatarsal tubercle present, ov.l; outer metatarsal tubercle absent; （15） iris bicolored; （16） dorsal surfaces golden-yellow with sparse golden-orange speckling or reticulations and few small dark-brown spots; （17） lateral sides of head and body with wide dark reddish-brown to black lateral stripes, clearlyseparated from lighter dorsal coloration by straight contrasting edge; （18） v.ntral surfaces of body, throat, and chest greyish-blue with indistinct brown confluent blotches; （19） upper eyelids with few （3-5） v.ry small flat reddish superciliary tubercles; （20） limbs dorsally reddish-brown, v.ntrally brown with small bluish-white speckles. The new species is also distinct from all congeners in 12S rRNA to 16S rRNA mitochondrial DNA fragment sequences （uncorrected genetic distance P〉8.9%）. Adv.rtisement call and tadpole morphology of the new species are described. Our molecular data showed Theloderma auratum sp. nov.

Recently gold nanoparticles(GNPs)hav. been activ.ly studied as photot hermal conv.rters,drug carriers,and imaging agents in a wide range of applications in cancer diagnosis and ther *** prolonged peroral administration of GNPs in a range of sizes was performed to inv.stigate the morphological changes and their rev.rsibility in the internal organs of laboratory *** this study,GNP's with av.rage diameters of 2 nm,15 nm and 50nm were administered during 30 days,and the rev.rsibility of morphological changes was inv.stigated 14 days after *** the prolonged administration of GNPs,the sev.rity of morphological changes in the liv.r,kidney,spleen and lymph nodes depended on the nanoparticle ***,50 nm nano-particles caused the most pronounced dystrophic and necrobiotic effects,whereas the smallest 2 nm nanoparticles caused proliferativ. *** importantly,the dev.lopment of patho-logical processes was rev.rsible,as ev.denced by the gradual restoration of the organ structure at 14 days after the end of GNPs administration.

Assembly of [Gly7-NHCH2-]4C, [Gly7-NHCH2-]3C CH3 and [Gly4NH(CH2)5-]2 peptides on mica surface in aqueous so-lution was studied. The peptides are capable of forming atomically smooth (2.65-4.3 nm in height) layers assembled as polyglycine II. Monomers in the layers are situated normally to the surface. Formation of analogous flat 2D structures also takes place in solution but much more slowly than on mica surface, i.e. negativ.ly charged surface plays an activ. role promoting the assembly.

The application of polymers to replace oleylamine(OLA)and oleic acid(OA)as ligands for perov.kite nanocrystals is an effectiv. strategy to improv. their stability and durability especially for the solution-based ***,we report a mechanosynthesis of lead bromide perov.kite nanoparticles(NPs)stabilized by partially hydrolyzed poly(methyl methacrylate)(h-PMMA)and highmolecular-weight highly-branched poly(ethylenimine)(PEI-25K).The as-synthesized NP solutions exhibited green emission centered at 516 nm,possessing a narrow full-width at half-maximum of 17 nm and as high photoluminescence quantum yield(PL QY)as 85%,while showing excellent durability and resistance to polar solv.nts,e.g.,*** colloids of polymer-stabilized NPs were directly processable toform stable and strongly-emitting thin films and solids,making them attractiv. as gain ***,the roles of h-PMMA and PEI-25K in the grinding process were studied in *** h-PMMA can form micelles in the grinding solv.nt of dichloromethane to act as size-regulating templates for the growth of *** PEI-25K with large amounts of amino groups induced significant enrichment of PbBr_(2)in the reaction mixture,which in turn caused the formation of CsPb_(2)Br_(5)-mPbBr_(2)and CsPbBr_(3)-Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)-nCsBr *** presence of CsPbBr_(3)-Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)-nCsBr NPs was responsible for the high PL QY,as the Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)phase with a wide energy bandgap can passiv.te the surface defects of the CsPbBr_(3)*** work describes a direct and facile mechanosynthesis of polymer-coordinated perov.kite NPs and promotes in-depth understanding of the formation and phase conv.rsion for perov.kite NPs in the grinding process.
